Hogan At 69% Approval in MD, Leads All Dems By Double Digits

Goucher College has a new poll out showing how well Republican Governor Larry Hogan has done in making sure to separate himself from Donald Trump. Hogan’s job approval rating, as a Republican in Maryland, is an incredible 69% as the same time Donald Trump’s DISapproval stands at 70%. In head-to-head match ups with the gaggle of Democrats running, Hogan holds a double-digit lead.

Lesko Leads By 6% in AZ-8 Special

Emerson College has released a new poll for the Special election in Arizona that will be held tomorrow night and it shows Republican Debbie Lesko surging from a deficit last week in an Emerson College poll to a 6% lead today.

Hiral Tipirneni (D) 43%

This poll was done April 19-23 among 400 likely voters.

Cruz Only Leads O’Rourke By 3% in TX

We have a new poll from Quinnipiac University for the state of Texas that shows just how much trouble Republicans are going to be in just for simply being a Republican.

Nelson Leads Scott By 6% in FL

Public Policy Polling has released a new poll for the just joined batle of Bill Nelson and Rick Scott in Florida and it shows the incumbent Democrat with a 6% lead.

US SENATE – FLORIDA (PPP)
Bill Nelson (D-inc) 50%
Rick Scott (R) 44%

This poll was done April 10-11 among 661 registered voters. The article does state “Democratic consultant Christian Ulvert of EDGE Communications paid for the poll. He is currently serving as a senior adviser to Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine’s gubernatorial campaign.”

Pritzker Leads Rauner By 18% in IL

It appears to be only being reported on Twitter currently, but the first new poll for the gubernatorial race in Illinois since the primary shows the incumbent Republican Governor well on his way to a resounding defeat in November.

Public Policy Polling released some new US Senate polls, admittedly for a leftist organization, but shows Republicans losing three seats in the US Senate, Arizona, Nevada and Tennessee.

Nelson Leads By 4% in FL

Its a snowy day in the Northeast, but that did not stop Gravis Marketing from releasing a new poll for the state of Florida showing Bill nelson holding onto a 4% lead in his bid for re-election while Republicans will be hoping John Morgan runs a spirited campaign for Governor as an Independent.

Hogan Dominates Dems in MD

About the only positive Republicans can possibly take out of last night is how badly Monmouth University botched their final poll. Monmouth claimed the Democrat Conor Lamb would win by 6% and get at least 51% of the vote. Regardless of the final outcome, it is safe to say Monmouth’s poll was heavily skewed to the left.

We have new polling for my home state of Maryland from some outfit I have never heard of, Burton Research and Strategies, as reported by Maryland Matters showing Larry Hogan with an overwhelming lead over the top two Democrats.
