  3. Frank says:

    Friends,

Internet polls are not necessarily bad. YouGov has been quite consistently under 50% regarding the President and his job approval.

These numbers are very comparible to Rasmussen.

    Friends,

On an earlier post, I was asked about posting data on this site. My poposts are quite thorough these days and include much analysis. This can only be done thoroughly on http://www.rightpundits.com

    Please follow me there.

When I was PE of Rightpundits, I was drunk most of the time. No problem Frank.

I do miss you asking Brandon for the crosstabs everday.

    #6 Frank,

That was I who asked you to post your RAS numbers here. I check your numbers every day, so I’ll just continue to log in over there.

  11. MD says:

    EPH,

    I’m not feeling it.

  12. Polaris says:

    Frank,

Sorry but I always toss internet polls. Too hard to control your sample space and get a representative response. Just ask Zobgy and how sucessful his internet polls have been.

    MD,

Brandon taught me how to access the detailed information at Rasmussen. This has allowed me the opportunity to access so much information that I am on data overload. My spreadsheet overloads the memory or our small computer.

    Oy.

    HOLY MOLEY!

PPP says Christie runs away with it.

YouGov sucks BTW. Aren’t they the Economist’s poller?

  22. MD says:

Wow – +6 for Christie with Daggett at 11.

  23. DrJay says:

    This one is D+8.

    Holy Shnikes!

  25. Frank says:

    Polaris,

I respect you immensely. You got me through the last three months of the election cycle last year. Several alcohol induced rants were answreed respectfully and politely.

Don’t reject interne polls outright. Remember, several years ago, automated polling firms were downgraded too.

    Respectfully submitted,

    Frank

  26. Frank says:

    Argh.

    Internet.

  27. DrJay says:

It is also Obama voters +11.

  28. Polaris says:

#28 When internet polls show methodological results consistant with other sampling techniques, I will accept them. However, to date they have not on a consistant basis.

    Dr Jay,

D+8 is about what I’ve been predicting in NJ for a while now.

    New thread.

  30. MD says:

    Polaris,

Before you separate your shoulder patting yourself on the back, you did get the Perot number wrong!

Just a little humor. You know I respect your work.

I was a lurker on HHR in 2008, and I knew some of the optimism for McCain was misplaced on here. McCain was/is a hard sell even to the GOP. I am very much opposed to McCain-Feingold.

Add the consumer confidence cratering in September and then the Lehman Brothers meltdown and the mini-panic, and the GOP did not have a chance.

This time, I think y’all are calling it right. Thank Obama’s Big $pending for that.

    Who the devil is YouGov?
