Impossible to really say which counties will come in first and in what order, but counties like Gloucester and Atlantic may be the ones to watch to see how the state might end up as they closely mirrored the results in 2005 on a county level.

Anyway, the official results can be found here, but as usual I am sure there will be websites that find results faster.

    very nice chart, Dave

  2. Karl R Rove says:

    3

  3. Karl R Rove says:

    4. It’s the past, though.

BTW, FOX News said the VA GOP or the VA Dems have only won all the Top 3 statewide seats ONCE. I think that was 1993, when Allen won.

    Hmmmmm.

That means the GOP is on the verge of a historic GOP comeback and a Hat Trick within …. a Hat Trick???

  4. jones says:

    #4,

    Nothing to see move along.

  5. MD says:

But..but..but..we still have cigs and wine to give away!

  6. MD says:

Nothing to do with Obama. Nope, nada, zero, zilch.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is a racist who hangs out at Klan meetings.

  7. MD says:

    BREAKING NEWS!

The dead have come alive in Patterson, NJ. A judge orders that precinct to stay open until all the previously dead can vote.

  8. Darrell says:

It is a great day for Liberty in the state of VA!!!!

  9. Cam Rep says:

CNN projects all three VA races to GOP

  10. MD says:

Anyone listening to Karl Rove? If no, you should be.

  11. sam says:

By my current count (at 8:11 pm), Reps are leading in 64 of 100 VA house races, Dems in 29.

The makeup in the house is Reps 53, Dems 43.

  12. Darrell says:

I think that a certain Senator Webb has to be just a little bit nervous tonight!

  13. Tina says:

    Source is pessimistic on NJ,

Feels that we may be down 15k votes after all counting.

  14. MD says:

OMG – that is worse than the worse-case scenario for the dems.

  15. Tony says:

So the Republicans sweep the 3 statewide offices in VA. Pretty good for a party that as CNNCBSABCBBNC says is “dead” “out of the mainstream” “out of touch” “fractured” I would say.

  16. Brandon says:

Christie weekend internals better than Whitman’s at this point in 93, according to Patrick Ruffini.

  17. MD says:

I don’t think anyone can know at this point Tina.

  18. Jim says:

VA House of Delegates (omitting seats with only a few hundred votes in so far)–
Reps won or leading in 54
Dems won or leading in 25
Very few or no returns yet 21

So looks like substantial gains in the House.

  19. Walt says:

    NUMBERS:

Chesterfield CO. (right next to Richmond) McD up 72% to 27% w/ 3% ov votes in
Fairfax Co. (NOVA) McD by 53 to 46% w/ 5% in
    Chesapeake City McD by 65 – 35% w/ 28% in
    VA Beach McD 66 – 34% w/ 10% in

  20. Karl R Rove says:

    Yep to No. 16.

    **** those liars and fabricators.

Remember when Rachel Maddow declared Reaganism dead on Jan. 20?

What a devious witch. I hope she is sitting on tacks tonight….

  21. Brandon says:

    Christie 62%
    Corzine 29%
    Daggett 8%

  22. GOPGUY1980 says:

Even better for the GOP is that at current count 5 incumbent Democrat state house members are losing to their Republican challengers;)!

Cheers, take care & God Bless,

    GOPGUY1980

  23. Karl R Rove says:

    14. “Source is pessimistic on NJ,

Feels that we may be down 15k votes after all counting.”

    You mean statewide??????????????

  24. Karl R Rove says:

I think the GOP gains in NJ state senate and assembly no matter what.

  25. pitchaboy says:

No source can predict to the last 15k votes at this time I would think. Watch intrade now; Corzine is being dumped; investors reading tea leaves from Virginia thrashing.

  26. Tina says:

Yes, after all voting is done in NJ only.

He now says that we may be up 10,000 – sees indies compromising a large portion of the electorate in NJ – (larger than first guestimated).

  27. MD says:

Wow. McD up by 24 with 55% in. Ugly night for Obama. You can’t campaign for people who get decimated and then say it had nothing to do with you.

Strike that, they can and will say whatever they want. The people are sending a loud and clear message.

  28. Tina says:

The email was from 2.5 hours ago, sorry, its not current. I have not been able to post/read emails, etc. Let me go through the emails first from him…

  29. Tommy_Boy says:

    61-29 in Ocean county

    McCAin won this county 59-40.

  30. pitchaboy says:

For those of you that bought Christie at 40 and are nervous, sell them while he is at 60 if you cannot wait until the finish.

  31. Benny says:

when we will get first numbers of NJ???

  32. Tina says:

The source was right on VA – blow out he said… He is keyed into this race, but not NJ (he only gets second hand stuffO).

  33. Frank says:

    Brandon,
Where are you getting your numbers?

    Frank

  34. DrJay says:

Deeds is running about 7 points behind Kaine in Arlington/Alexandria at the moment.

  35. Tina says:

MD, this source usually sends me 1 or 2 emails, but he sent me 10. What’s up with that? Why send me stuff, when I had no access to the computer all day.

  36. Tina says:

I think personally that we may be ok in NJ given the indy turnout and what appears to be a larger turnout among Rs.

  37. Brandon says:

Everybody and their brother thinks that New Jersey is going to go down to the wire. But one of my readers is plugged in to a New Jersey Democrat, and this guy’s running of the numbers goes to Republican Chris Christie winning by one percentage point. Admission against interest, and all that. Take it for what it’s worth.

    NRO

  38. Tommy_Boy says:

    http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D9BOD4BO1&show_article=1

“Voters who said the economy was important favored Corzine, while voters who said taxes mattered most supported Christie.”

  39. Brandon says:

    54/37/8

  40. Tina says:

Remember, in NJ, it needs to be a 4 to 5 point lead for Christie. Anything less, and I fear that Corzine; the D courts; and the union thugs steal it.

  41. Jason T. says:

    Frank good to see you.

  42. pitchaboy says:

Christie winning indies by 25% with the indies comprising 27% of electorate.

  43. Jason T. says:

    Tina agreed

  44. Cam Rep says:

Roland Martin is a raving moron. I have no idea why he’s on TV (although he fits in well on CNN).

  45. Chekote says:

THe Dem on BOR is an idiot. He said that McDonnell’s ads never said he was a Republican. What a bunch of crap! EVERYBODY knows he was a Republican. Excuses, excuses, excuses.

  46. Jason T. says:

Tina, NRO is aying Chris is up 58 to 33 with Indy’s.

  47. jones says:

    Olbermann is crazy as hell.

  48. MD says:

    Tina,

The NJ race has people hyped up.

  49. Brandon says:

    51/40/8

  50. Chekote says:

I just don’t see Corzine getting more than low 40s.

  51. Tina says:

What a collapse among the Ds in VA!!!!!

  52. Jason T. says:

Pitch, in any other state a big indy lead like that would get a early call.

  53. wylie e. coyote - super genius says:

Me smells that that sneaky RR Corzine may finally be caught – coyote is howling….i can smell victory!!!

  54. Tina says:

I emailed my source and told him do not send me shit from 3 hours ago.

  55. Jason T. says:

    53. Brandon i am a moron 51/40 ?????

  56. KnightHawk says:

#49 – needs more then 25% advantage there, think they were expecting like 30%

  57. Benny says:

    Hi Tina
    Hi frank

    what a great night

now I go to bed for a while-but with a smile

    :-=)))

  58. KnightHawk says:

A lot of negative\nervous news on the NJ conference call I’m on.

  59. KnightHawk says:

Bunch of people on this call getting buses arranged for Thursday event to hit congress on the head.

  60. Brandon says:

The Gloucester county numbers look good right now.

  61. Chekote says:

    #63

    Why? Bad news for Christie?

  62. Sean says:

Brandon – what about the Gloucester numbers?

  63. Tina says:

These races are not reflective on the Obumbler, not even 20 percent of it.

    Right!!!

  64. MD says:

    Knight,

    Details?

  65. Sean says:

May Corzine go down to an embarassing defeat, I hope?

  66. Brandon says:

    #67. It’s only 46-44 Corzine.

  67. wylie e. coyote - super genius says:

#50 they invented straightjackets and Haldol for loons like Olberman – he is a straight up jerk plain and simple….

I hated his sorry carcas even when he was a sad-sack sportscaster on ESPN – always told lame jokes and thought he was just the funniest SOB on the planet….

I see that arrogance has only disintegrated into hateful lunacy now that he decided too become a “real” commentator….

  68. Cam Rep says:

If Corzine does lose, it’ll be a squeaker. A 1-vote loss would be fine with me!

  69. Sean says:

Which county was it that has predicted within 0.5%?

  70. DrJay says:

Gloucester was 53.2-43 Corzine in 2005, almost EXACTLY the overall totals.

  71. Brandon says:

#74. Atlantic, but they are usually slow to report.

  72. Tina says:

Do not make fun of Overbite and Rowland Doughbouy Williams, they are bi partisan.

  73. KnightHawk says:

High turn out in certain Corzine areas desipe what we may have heard, and the indi margin not quite what the Christie camp wanted 30+, 25% may not get it done.

  74. Tina says:

Yeah soruce confirms a possible 10k vote margin either way.

    I am sad.

  75. KnightHawk says:

At least that was what I caught, I missed the beginning of the convo.

  76. MD says:

Uh. So my prediction may come true? Crap

Please prove me wrong people of NJ.

  77. Brandon says:

    50/42/8

  78. RayNJ says:

With 22% in in Ocean County, Christie running way way ahead of Forrester in 2005. *If* this is a representative sample, this would project to a 70k+ margin! Daggett at 6% and falling.

  79. jack ross says:

drudge posting NJ returns. Christie up so far

  80. jason says:

This is a good point from NRO

“Public Policy Polling notes that their final poll had Christie winning the independents by 23; the exit polls indicate Christie won them by 25. They interpret this as a sign that most Daggett supporters and undecideds went into the Christie pile. PPP’s final poll put Christie up 6 overall.”

  81. pitchaboy says:

Sold Christie for 68; Corzine at 34 – any takers?

  82. Brandon says:

I don’t like what is going on in Cumberland. Hopefully that tightens.

  83. MD says:

Going dark until 10 pm. Can’t stand watching second by second.

  84. Sean says:

I’d like my cheeseburger with extra ketchup and tomato.

  85. Tony says:

Brandon, I noticed in your post 38 that the Democrats got 10 Independents to run and help split the vote.

  86. Marv says:

    Last trade 70-30 Christie

  87. Chekote says:

    Brandon

Is Gloucester a heavy Dem county?

  88. jason says:

Glouster is tied? It was 53-43 Corzine in 2005

  89. Tommy_Boy says:

    McCain won Ocea 58/40

  90. DrJay says:

Christie now slightly ahead in Gloucester.

  91. Cam Rep says:

Sure sounding like both sides are nervous in NJ.

  92. KnightHawk says:

    #84 – That’s not unexpected results though.

  93. Brandon says:

If Christie wins Gloucester, that might bode well. But it’s too early to say.

  94. Tommy_Boy says:

    Obama won Glouchester 55-43

  95. Chekote says:

    #100

    Thanks, TB.

  96. Chekote says:

    I need wine

  97. DrJay says:

By some glitch, the VA site now shows me 86-14 McDonnell…. HA!!!!

  98. Tina says:

I will also have to leave for good at 7 PST.

  99. Jason T. says:

Marv, what is the mentality with Intrade?

Crazier than a drunken bowel movement

  100. Howard Dean 1/20/13 says:

    Maine

    REJECT SAME-SEX MARRIAGE LAW
    Yes 3837 50.67%
    No 3736 49.33%

  101. Brandon says:

    49/43/7

  102. Sean says:

    According to VA website,

    DEEDS 465,717 (14%)
    MCDONNELL 2,757,057 (86%)

That would be nice, however it’s showing 2 million votes in Loudoun county for McDonnell…

  103. Jason T. says:

Chek, as you can tell by my posts, on my second bottle, saluting VA

  104. G_Money says:

Chek – Gloucester is a classic mix of blue and white collar

  105. Tommy_Boy says:

What county is the home to Newark?

  106. DrJay says:

Brandon, Newark is in Essex, yes?

  107. Brandon says:

    Yes, Essex.

  108. KnightHawk says:

Not really they will be some of the last areas.

  109. Brandon says:

Wow, look at the margin in Ocean.

  110. Tommy_Boy says:

It’s early but if Corzine is -14 from Obama’s 75% there.

  111. pitchaboy says:

jason, intrade is now betting with precinct returns. Corzine is trailing and therefore those that bet on him are cutting their losses. As for Christie, it depends on your stomach for risk; for a guy like me who makes 25 cents on the dollar I bail out and avoid any last minute upset. Gutsy people will stick it out and if he indeed wins, make big money.

  112. phoenixrisen says:

50% counted in Gloucester and Christie is still up 1! good sign!

  113. Darrell says:

    62922/43350

  114. Brandon says:

37 point margin in Ocean. WOW

  115. RayNJ says:

    Ocean Co –
    65% Christie – 28% Corzine – 5.5% Daggett with 35% in

Bush carried by 21% in 2004, lost state by 6%

  116. KnightHawk says:

#118 – Yeah that does look good.. needs to stay that way.

  117. Brandon says:

lol, Atlantic 1.6% in Corzine up by 70

  118. Sean says:

Somebody was posting on the rightpundits blog… Monmouth 62.73 Christie, 30.76 Corzine? Brandon, any insight?

  119. Tina says:

    I want a limoncello.

  120. KnightHawk says:

37 point margin in Ocean. WOW

Kinda I was thinking he needed 30 there.

  121. Brandon says:

#124. That is huge. He needed to run up big margins there and it looks like he did.

  122. jason says:

The one county I dont like so far is Hudson, too close to 2005…the others look good

  123. Tina says:

50 percent of NJ – want more government.

    We are phuqed.

  124. KnightHawk says:

    “Monmouth 62.73 Christie, 30.76 Corzine? ”

    seriously?

  125. Brandon says:

    Christie is up in Bergen!!

  126. Chekote says:

    #129

My thought exactly. Pathetic. Some people never learn.

  127. Sean says:

    REP – Christie/Guadagno 68,594 62.73%
    DEM – Corzine/Weinberg 33,631 30.76%

  128. Chekote says:

  129. Sean says:

  131. Chekote says:

    Where is Wes?

  132. DrJay says:

    Christie 47-44 Gloucester.

  133. Darrell says:

Daggett pulling only 6% so far. What about all those polls showing him up there at 15% – 20%????????

  134. Tommy_Boy says:

I beat up Wes all day and he went crying to go look at pictures

  135. KnightHawk says:

btw if #130 holds things look good.

  136. Darrell says:

Guys, this is looking REAL good for Christie

  139. Brandon says:

    Beautiful margin from Hunterdon too.

  140. KnightHawk says:

    #138 – what % reporting now??

  141. sam says:

  142. Jason T. says:

    Phoenix, to God’s ears.

  143. Chekote says:

    #147

    What a spanking!!!!

  144. Tony says:

Just be patient with the precincts that are still reporting zero %–the dump trucks have many precincts before they get to all of them.

  145. Dusty Wolf says:

The Fox News bottom line reporting bar is a glorious site.

  146. sam says:

    16% in, NJ

    Christie 54% (207,647)
    Corzine 40% (154,146)
    Daggett 6% *21,697)

  147. jack ross says:

    16% in. 54/40

  148. Tommy_Boy says:

    NY-23 coming up!

  149. Darrell says:

It is a good day to be a Virginian!!!

  150. Jason T. says:

Tony, look for Joe Pesci and Bobby DeNiro

  151. Karl R Rove says:

I told you guys — No one runs to vote for higher taxes, or a third party that would assure those higher taxes. Or empowerment of corruption.

    Christie may do this!

  152. KnightHawk says:

Guys minus some big change Polaris prediction is on track to be about right.

  153. wylie e. coyote - super genius says:

#129 Do those 50% also think ingesting massive quantities of crack daily is needed too???

Geesshhhh, your right – what is left of the nation where there are no productive citizens left to loot???

  154. Chekote says:

    #150

I thought the same. It seems that urban areas are not reporting. They need to know how many votes they need. I just hope that Christie has a legal team on the ground.

  155. phoenixrisen says:

holy crap! Christie is going to win Gloucester!

  156. jason says:

Bergen county looks good….Corzine won in 2005, it’s a Christie lead

  157. Darrell says:

160…of course. They always hold back to see if the race is in the MOF. Then if it is, the cemetery precincts suddenly report.

  158. Dusty Wolf says:

    18% reporting; 52-41, Christie

  159. DrJay says:

Are the early votes in these totals?

  160. Darrell says:

    52/41

  161. Brandon says:

    #165. Yes, they report first.

  162. Cam Rep says:

I’m just nervous that those urban votes are going to dump late and sink us.

  163. Chekote says:

    #168

    me too….

  164. Karl R Rove says:

“The Fox News bottom line reporting bar is a glorious site.”

I love how they run it during commercials!!!! God bless FOX and their sponsors.

  165. Jason T. says:

  168. Jason T. says:

Any news in Penn with the Supreme Court

  169. KnightHawk says:

“holy crap! Christie is going to win Gloucester!”

maybe be just the margin he need to get over the large D numbers in Hudson river counties.

  170. wylie e. coyote - super genius says:

#162 Bergen looks like the largest county in the state as far as votes – if Chritie wins there I dont see how Corzine can pull it out….

I think looking at raw vote totals, Chritie needs to get 1.1 million plus votes tonight….thats the number I am looking at

  171. KnightHawk says:

    crap another new thread?

  172. Sean says:

    Gloucester:

    JON S. CORZINE 33,640 44.01%
    - CHRIS CHRISTIE 36,117 47.26%

    91% in

  173. Chekote says:

We need to see the turnout in the Dem counties. Even if Corzine wins by big margins, the raw number might not be enough.

  174. Frank says:

Anybody have a link for NY23?

    Frank

  175. jason says:

Essex and Camdem is where Corzine will run up the vote….of course they are holding them back to see what they need. I hope Christie has lawyers in those counties.

  176. jason says:

Ok some Camdem and Essex now….Corzine does not have what he needs from the precints that are in.

  177. Sickofdems says:
