CT: Rell Was Only 6% Ahead Of Bysiewicz

A new poll from Quinnipiac University may show why Jodi Rell decided to decline another run for Governor as Democrat Susan Bysiewicz had crawled to within 6% of Rell.

GOVERNOR – CONNECTICUT (Quinnipiac)
Jodi Rell (R-inc) 46%
Susan Bysiewicz (D) 40%

Jodi Rell (R-inc) 52%
Dan Malloy (D) 33%

Jodi Rell (R-inc) 53%
Ned Lamont (D) 33%

While Lamont did horribly against Rell, he is making a race of it in the Democratic primary.

GOVERNOR – CONNECTICUT – DEM PRIMARY (Quinnipiac)
Susan Bysiewicz 26%
Ned Lamont 23%
Dan Malloy 9%
Jim Amann 3%
Gary Lebeau 2%
Rudy Marconi 1%

Can Daily Kos push Ned Lamont to the nomination again? This poll was done November 3-8 among 1236 registered voters and 474 Democrats.

I assume this means we might see a new poll tomorrow for the US Senate race in Connecticut from Quinnipiac University.

In my opinion the GOP needs a candidate in the middle not a ino but also not a very conservative!!

I am sure Obama has pissed of many independent voters he will not get the same big turnout of AA voters and the electoral college change against him in 2012

so if he loose NC VA FL NV IN its over for him

    How are you?

How upset are Germans over the fact that President Obama did not come over to help celebrate the 20th anniversary of the wall coming down?

This Susan B. has not made much of an impression on me. I guess she must be a local office holder??

  7. Bill D says:

If Lamont is the nominee, the Lt Gov. will demolish him. It’s funny politico was gushing over Lamont making a political comeback, that won’t be happening.

  8. Aaron_in_TX says:

Lamont’s candidacy was driven by the opposition to the Iraq War in 2006. I find it unlikely that he catches fire like that again.
