Seems like a lot of spare percentages in that primary poll.

The extremely weak dollar, cash aplenty and the fact you cannot put it anyplace else is creasting a stock market bubble. The market is holding Obama agt 48%. When the feds tighten interest rates, the bubble will burst, and HHR wishes of Obama at 40% will happen.

Fisher led Portman by 11 points in the Sep Quinn poll.

This race is not going to be close.

Fisher is a perennial loser who looks like a dyspeptic toad, is running in a Dem down year, and cannot raise money.

  4. pitchaboy says:

Looks like Ohio is turning away from tax and spend. When will Michigan learn, if at all?

  5. sam says:

R’s will take the MI governorship too.

    HOLY SH**

NY-23 is still being counted. Hoffman is now 3,000 behind with 10,000 left to go.

    ……

That’s how many were mailed, we don’t know if all of them were returned.

Though I would bet most were.

Ohio just gets better and better.

When Missouri polls come out, I bet we look a lot better in that state as well.

Sometimes it’s good to have the reverse of the coin speak. Especially the tarnished side.

The window of opportunity for Obama-Pelosi_Reid is shutting as far as major legislation goes. If nothing much moves on health care in the next couple of weeks, it is time to get your bugles out and play Amazing Grace.

And it wont be 50 50 in Ohio next Fall on voter turnout either. This is a registered voter poll, not normed for non Presidential election turnouts. Portman is not low for any reason that he has never held statewide office. His balance budget credentials should be the ticket with Rs and Is and more than a few disgruntled Ds.

  15. Polaris says:

It would be major egg on the face of Pelosi if she had to kick out Owens days after she swore him in. What the HELL was Hoffman doing by conceding before all the technical issues were resolved.

I still say that Hoffman winning at this point is a low probability event (about 5% I’d say), but that’s a lot more than zero!

  16. pitchaboy says:

I think Hoffman did not have a clue. This poor guy is lot a politician and did not understand the nuances of vote counting. Looks like he had bad advisors as well.

  17. Polaris says:

#16 I’ll say. If Hoffman hadn’t conceded until all the votes were counted (which given the glitches on election night would have been reasonable), then Pelosi would NOT have been able to swear in Owens under NY Law. New York loudly insists btw that if Hoffman is certified the winner, then Pelosi must swear Hoffman out and Owens in. Of course real history and precedence is messier than that, but not swearing in the actual certified winner would be very bad form on Pelosi’s part (not that she’d lose much sleep I imagine).

  18. Polaris says:

#17 vice versa…swear Hoffman in and Owens out.

  19. GA Voter says:

Then, the Rep. from NOLA (Cho) would have really had to think hard about his vote. I bet he is hoping this recount is resolved soon.

  20. rdelbov says:

The Hill had an article detailing why and how Owens got sworn in. Hoffman should not conceded.
