Rasmussen-palooza (OK, NV, IL, MO, WI)

It has just been one of those weeks when time just goes by so fast and time to even think about posting anything isn’t even close to being available. Scott Rasmussen was his usual busy self releasing five polls today. We start with the first post-primary poll from Oklahoma.

GOVERNOR – OKLAHOMA (Rasmussen)
Mary Fallin (R) 57%
Jari Askins (D) 36%

This poll was done July 28th among 500 likely voters. In Nevada, Brian Sandoval has a double-digit lead over Harry Reid’s kid.

GOVERNOR – NEVADA (Rasmussen)
Brian Sandoval (R) 50%
Harry Reid’s Kid (D) 40%

This poll was done July 27th among 750 likely voters. In Illinois, more good news for Republicans as Bill Brady holds a 7% lead over sitting Democratic Governor Pat Quinn/

GOVERNOR – ILLINOIS (Rasmussen)
Bill Brady (R) 44%
Pat Quinn (D) 37%

This poll was done July 26th among 500 likely voters. Finally, good news from two US Senate polls in Missouri and Wisconsin as Republicans now lead in both races.

US SENATE – MISSOURI (Rasmussen)
Roy Blunt (R) 49%
Robin Carnahan (D) 43%

US SENATE – WISCONSIN (Rasmussen)
Ron Johnson (R) 48%
Russ Feingold (D-inc) 46%

Russ Feingold (D-inc) 49%
Dave Westlake (R) 38%

Both of these polls were done July 27th among 750 likely voters.

    Rdel, House Sparrow,

Glen Meakem is rumored to be considering a run. He has Meg Whitman leval $ but is a rock solid Conservative

  2. Jim B. says:

    Mayors of cities over 100,000–

Here’s an interesting statistic (at least, it’s interesting to me): In 1980, Republicans held 30% of the mayors’ offices in cities over 100,000. By 1986 they had fallen to a low of only 25%. Last year, there were Republican mayors in 45% of the cities over 100,000, a record high.

This increase isn’t very much from winning previously Democratic cities; it’s mostly because over 100 more cities have reached 100,000 population since 1980, and Republicans win the vast majority of these newer suburban cities. In future years, this will give us a growing “bench” of experienced mayors who can run for higher office.

  3. Yolanda says:

Is it possible that WI will fall easier than CA?

  4. brightandearly says:

what the heck was sandoval thinking re. the “kids don’t look hispanic” comment … is the GOP gonna blow this sure bet as well .. jeez !

  5. JulStol says:

    Jim B,

Very interesting and heartening to know!

  6. Brandon says:

#4. I think WI is MUCH easier than CA.

I would assume that too Brandon

  9. Ryan says:

Considering the Fox +11 generic today, does anyone know what the final congressional vote split was in 2008, nationwide?

  10. House Sparrow says:

Cool, Jul. If he does, I will definitely give him a serious look. I really do NOT want to have to vote for Dent or Gerlach, but I will if I have to. It would be more anti-Casey than pro-Dent/Gerlach. It would be nice to have a candidate that I can proudly and enthusiastically support. Dent and Gerlach don’t fit that bill, nor did Santorum, although I gladly contributed to his 41% and hoped (in vain) for a miracle.

Now, Pat Toomey, I am excited about, as well as Tom Corbett. I know our enthusiasm for Corbett differs, but we’re both in his corner against Tax Man Dan.

  11. House Sparrow says:

Tight race on the Mich GOP side. Whoever prevails should win the general without much trouble. Big government and big labor have lain waste to that state.

  12. Daniel G. says:

WI-SEN is really tight now. Pollster.com Average has Feingold ahead by three tenths of a Percentage Point.

    http://www.pollster.com/polls/wi/10-wi-gov-ge-jvf.php

  13. Brandon says:

    #10. Dems won 54-46.

  14. Brandon says:

    Sorry. Correction: 54-44.

  15. Daniel G. says:

I think Snyder is the best Candidate for MI-GOV.

  16. addisonst says:

there is only one thing that stops big johnson from wisconsin. He’s not vetted and he could have skels.

If he has nothing in his past that precludes him. He’s a done deal. Yes he’s got a higher probability of victory right now than Carly

  17. House Sparrow says:

Lefty Feingold may have run out of luck this year. Weak opponent? Nope. Good Dem year? HELL, no. He may just get the boot. I hope so.

  18. Ryan says:

    15,

Wow. A potential 20 point would put a 100 seats in serious serious jeopardy

  19. jones says:

    18

I am sure the votes are being created as we speak. Johnson must win by a point where fraud can not hurt.

  20. Wes says:

This throws the Ras poll for the Nevada Senate race into question. It’s highly unlikely Reid, Jr, is running this well against Sandoval.

  21. House Sparrow says:

Wow, Brandon, a 21-point swing from D+10 to R+11. I think many R district Dems are already looking for a new career. Now, the ones in marginal D districts have to be quaking in their boots as well. Even if it only ends up R+6 or so (not predicting that), it will still be an electoral bloodbath for our Marxist friends.

  22. Wes says:

The biggest spread in congressional raw vote totals ever was in 1894 when the GOP won 60-37. I doubt this year will be anywhere close to that, but it could potentially be a 10- or 12-point lead for Republicans, which would still be huge.

  23. House Sparrow says:

Yes, Johnson will need to win two races simultaneously. One against Feingold, and one against the MoF. We cannot let them Franken him.

  24. Daniel G. says:

    From the other Thread:

I think my wife may have gotten polled by Survey USA yesterday… The poll was sponsored by the Denver Post, but number called from Massachusetts and it was a robo-poll…

    Comment by Sean — July 29, 2010 @ 9:30 am

That’s right because I’m hearing Rumors a new Denver Post / KUSA 9 News / Survey USA Poll is set to be released on Saturday.

  25. MFG says:

    What’s the MoF in WI?

    I would think 2 or 3 points

  26. Sir Alberto McDougalito says:

Theykre goin’ down I tell yuh. Every last one of the stinkin’ creeps. You a D? Get in the bag. Tell Johnny Paulie sentchooz. All D’s get aboard duh Titantric. It’s gonna be good. You, Pelosi, come ovuh heah – cut my toe nails. Make ‘em shine real good. Hey Bawney- stop wearin’ my drawers before I slap you tuh sleep and slap you while yuh sleepin’.

  27. Wes says:

    Franken: v.

    1) To openly steal an election after multiple recounts

    2) To collude among elected officials to overturn the will of the people with a series of overtly illegal post-election campaign tactics for the sole purpose of putting in office a cnadidate not chosen by a majority or plurality of voters

  28. House Sparrow says:

I’ll take 10-12 with glee, Wes. That should be good for 5 or 6 flipped PA House seats instead of 2 or 3. A 10-point edge would likely dislodge Chris Carney, who I despise more than anyone in our delegation. That bastage has caught some lucky breaks, so he has a good shot at surviving if the wave isn’t strong enough.

  29. jenny says:

the hunk, john thune will appear on the kudlow report tonight.

  30. Wes says:

I swear, Kristol and Krauthammer seriously need to get out of Washington more. They were doing everything they could to dismiss the allegations against Rangel. Guys, I know this will come as a shock, but there’s a big country beyond the Beltway. About 99.9% of the American people live there. You guys should try it too.

  31. jones says:

    26

Happily WI AG Van Hollen is starting a strengthen voter fraud unit.

I hope this is the last election in WI w/o voter id.

The open primaries worry me a bit too.

  32. House Sparrow says:

MFG- Make it 3 to be safe.

Wes- They really need to add that to Merriam-Webster’s!

  33. Wes says:

Ten to twelve points would turn over virtually all the GOP seats that flipped in ‘06 and ‘08, Phoenix. It would undermine many Dems in marignal districts and districts that trend mildly or moderately toward them.

  34. jones says:

so according to Rangel D-NY vets need not pay taxes.

    The dems are so classy.

  35. Wes says:

I’m aiming for the OED myself, Sparrow. That’s the gold standard of the English language.

  36. rdelbov says:

    Julstol

Meakem has a stunning resume–he needs to run

  37. Wes says:

Ugh, Sparrow. I called you Phoenix after Phoenix Risen somehow. Not sure how I made that mistake.

  38. House Sparrow says:

Having Van Hollen as AG instead of someone like Marxist usurper Mark Ritchie will help a lot. Franken is probably still hand-delivering briefcases of cash to Ritchie, and shining his shoes while he’s there.

  39. rdelbov says:

That’s a wild Gov primary–all this talk about Cox and strippers is killing his campaign. Looks like trash talk but it helps Hoestra and Synder

  40. Wes says:

Can we get a poll out of SD-AL? I’m wanting to see if the lovely and gracious Kristi Noem is still in front of Ms 92.7%.

  41. Daniel G. says:

Kohl is likely going to retire in WI shortly after the Midterms I think.

  42. House Sparrow says:

Sparrow Risen?? LOL. Sounds kind of like a bad, B-horror remake of The Birds or something :)

  43. Wes says:

I don’t know about you, Rdel, but I have no clue why people would go to strip clubs. They just seem like a waste of money to me.

  44. Wes says:

    It does, Sparrow.

  45. IJUSTHATETHATFREAKIN'MCCAIN says:

Looks like someone wRangled himself into a trial.

  46. Wes says:

This is how the Special Report roundtable went on the Rangle issue-

Kristol: This is not an issue the American people care about.

    Smurfette: I agree.

Krauthammer: Rangel is a man of honor. That’s why he’s fighting these charges.

    Seriously I wanted to scream.

  47. jones says:

Tim, you must be so proud of Nancy and her Cleangress.

  48. House Sparrow says:

Sadly, he will likely get all of the legal wRangeling he needs to keep his sorry ass in Congress, instead of prison where it belongs.

I would love to see an expulsion vote like Traficant. Beer and popcorn sales would skyrocket.

  49. Wes says:

It;s fine with me if he stays in Congress, Sparrow. He gives the GOP more ammo to sue against the Dems.

  50. House Sparrow says:

Wes, What the hell is wrong with those guys?!? Yeah, a little corruption is nothing. Ask Tom DeLay and Dollar Bill Jefferson. Never hurt a thing!

  51. BPL in Scottsdale says:

“the hunk, john thune will appear on the kudlow report tonight.”

I’m sure the show will capture record ratings with his appearance.

    /sarc

  52. House Sparrow says:

True, Wes. For the first time in his life, he could serve a useful and productive purpose in Congress. Stick around, Charlie boy!

  53. Diamond Jim says:

I hope this is the last election in WI w/o voter id.

    Ditto

  54. Wes says:

Well, I expected it out of Smurfette, Sparrow. After all, she’s an Associate Editor at the Hill. Kristol and Krauthammer were the ones I was mystified by. They seriously need to get out more often.

  55. MFG says:

    Obama (verb)

    To fuck up
    To destroy
    To ruin
    To ruin beyond repair
    To cause economic collapse

“That tax bill Obamaed up the economy big time!”

“Boy, did he ever Obama that test!”

  56. rdelbov says:

    Wes

you got when you said “waste of money”.

whatever you said before that is immaterial

  57. MFG says:

Rangel is a man of honor!!!!!!!!!

No wonder I can’t stand to watch this shit anymore

  58. Wes says:

That’s exactly what Krauthammer said, MFG. I was wondering if he’s been hanging out in some alternate universe for the past few months.

  59. House Sparrow says:

Along with their destructive legacy of rampant Marxism, these Dems could add some new words to the lexicon.

“Shh..Don’t tell Professor Smith, but I got drunk, ran short on time and had to Biden part of my report.”

“That pink spandex makes that dude look like a complete McGreevey.”

“Damn! I just got Gored out of $1000 bucks in some crazy hoax.”

  60. Wes says:

    That’s hilarious, Sparrow!

  61. House Sparrow says:

Ugh..I used a dollar sign along with the word “bucks”. Redundancy is kewl :)

  62. rdelbov says:

That’s right–never catch that roundtable but Rangel is a man of honor–DC talk for values his high status

what a joke–man of honor?? Have they not watch he lie about republicans and defend Clinton.

    Inside the beltway indeed

  63. House Sparrow says:

Maybe Bizarro World is real after all. Thieves are honorable, lying is truth and Charlie Rangel is an honorable man. Sick, indeed.

  64. House Sparrow says:

Oh, I forgot one- Trillion-dollar deficits are responsible. What a weird-ass place. No wonder they vote 90% Dem there.

  65. bunu says:

Lindsey Graham just called for an end to birthright citizenship.

No deal Lindsey. We don’t want your stinkin’ legislation.

  66. House Sparrow says:

I’ll be back in a while, guys. Need a shower and some eats.

  67. bunu says:

No employment verification, no national I.D., and no compromising with Lindsey.

  68. House Sparrow says:

Graham sux. They really need to primary him out next time. Sadly, we’re stuck with him for a while yet. SC could do better, and deserves it. OK, now I’m out.

  69. IJUSTHATETHATFREAKIN'MCCAIN says:

Wes are you serious? It’s a shame that fox’s news is losing its appeal. Where else to turn to though?

  70. Hugh G Rection says:

Kraut is an insider, in his defense he HAS been very curt and direct with the horror of Obama. He looks like a heavier version of that guy who runs Troma Studios, Lloyd Kaufman, which is funny when they both pop in on Red Eye…

  71. Daniel G. says:

Bad News out of New Hampshire. Polling shows Rep. Shea-Porter (D) is back in the lead.

    WMUR / Granite State Poll

    1st District

    Shea-Porter (D) 43 %
    Ashooh (R) 35 %
    Undecided 22 %

    Shea-Porter (D) 44 %
    Bestani (R) 33 %
    Undecided 22 %

    Shea-Porter (D) 44 %
    Guinta (R) 39 %
    Undecided 16 %

    Shea-Porter (D) 45 %
    Mahoney (R) 36 %
    Undecided 18 %

Bass however leads the 2nd District comfortably.

    http://www.wmur.com/download/2010/0729/24442167.pdf

  72. addisonst says:

Lol at nh poll. That one won’t be close.

  73. addisonst says:

Lindsay graham really is a tool. No fence but people are running and dropping babies here

  74. phoenixrisen says:

I don’t know about that. Shea Porter gained 13 points in favorability since April? Sure, Obamacare did a world of wonder for her.

  75. rdelbov says:

    A joke poll from NH

  76. rdelbov says:

I might add that Bass has a big lead in the other CD

  77. lisab says:

btw, why do those who want amnesty also want a national id?

  78. Daniel G. says:

    rdel,

I said that. BUT we need that Shea-Porter District too if we want to take the House.

  79. Dylan says:

I saw Thune on Greta Van Susteren’s show last night. I did like what I saw. very articulate, good ability to connect, not pedantic in his points. I will admit this guy does have potential. I am not sold however that Newt is SO damaged as to be “unelectable.” Obama’s election will forever dispel the concept of “unelectability” for me. And btw, Obama is 4X more pedantic on a daily basis than Gingrich.

  80. mnw says:

I couldn’t access HHR 2-day– maybe the problem is they use Internet Explorer at my 9-2-5 location? I dunno, but it happens a lot.

Johnson from Wisconsin rocks. AND, as for Brady… about freakin’ time!

And as 4 my main man Blunt, steady as she goes works 4 me.

I see WI & WA as being much better shots than NV, IL & CA. Being a generic Republican may be enuf in ‘10… unless there are candidate-specific issues. In CA, the problem isn’t ‘candidate-specific’ exactly… more blue state blues, I guess.

  81. Dylan says:

Krauthammer and Kristol are beyond unwatchable. It is sort of like watching the “Fox All Stars” right before the 08 election when everyone had conceded if not endorsed Obama. Fox is now part of the MSM. Yes, it “tilts” right but it is rapidly assuming a pablum quality from which it may not recover.

  82. mnw says:

I sent the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund a check 2-day. First time ever. They seem 2 HATE the same way I do.

  83. Phil says:

If those numbers out of NH are correct, it is indeed very bad news.

My gut says that can’t be true.

  84. rdelbov says:

Daniel G–you did say that–sorry about that. I read his post and then followed the link and just blurted it out.

I guess with a two part poll one could be accurate and the other a mess so there you have my theory on it.

    mnw

how does the Susan B list work? Does the money go to them or do they bundle it what? I have been impressed with them–from a far this year.

  85. rdelbov says:

PHIL I tend to agree with you. I will say this, however, the GOP primary has turned nasty in NH among the GOP types. I fully expect to see a bump as a nominee is settled and the party unites.

The main NH GOP types all have future ambitions so unity will not be a problem.

  86. Corey says:

Hello Republicans (Pollyannas and Eeyores alike)!

Hi to any Democrats here as well. I miss being able to argue online with raving mad liberals.

  87. Dylan says:

What is an eeyeore? I think I missed that one.

  88. Corey says:

I’m not entirely sure, but I believe it is a term used to refer to pessimists and is from Winnie the Pooh or something.

Anyways, here in IL, looks like we are going to be holding two Senate elections on the same day.

One for 6 years and one for two months.

The most interesting thing is that Roland Burris is saying he is a candidate for the special election and he will raise holy hell if the Democrat bosses do not slate him as the nominee (which they won’t.)

Also, since there will be two elections, the spending limits for Senate campaigns may be doubled. So, if that is the case, it would only increase Mark Kirk’s massive cash advantage over Giannoulias.

  89. addisonst says:

Ok I will say it again for the terminally stupid, kirk is going to win. Its done. As for shea porter, she is also a goner any poll showing her winning a state going deep red is laughable. Some days this is like a liberal bubble site. If you think kirk is not going to win you either are stuck in the liberal time warp or you use your mouth instead of your brain. Kirk is running against a MOB BANKER who lost his bank to the feds

  90. mnw says:

    rdel

Remember, as I said, this is the first time I’ve ever donated to the SBA List. From examining their website, I concluded that there is a separate “SBA List Candidate Fund,” but… I’m not really sure. To make CERTAIN my donation went exactly where I wanted it to go, I made the check out to “SBA List Candidate Fund,” just to be on the safe side.

As I’ve mentioned before, at the GOP volunteer HQ in MO where I go to volunteer, I’ve noted that year after year, the GOP foot soldiers are pro-life activists… 75% of ‘em anyway. So”’ I signed up. I doubt there are very many pro-amnesty, pro-life volunteers, so In figure it all basically goes to the same candidates. I love that SBA List is going after the so-called “pro-life Dems” who voted for Obamacare. LOVE that. Eat death, blue dogs.

  91. Tim says:

    #48:
The only time you now ever post is to talk to me?

Now, that is just damn touching, Sweet Boy! LOL

  92. bunu says:

Ron Artest really is a math major though, which is surprising.

  93. Corey says:

I think Kirk will win, especially since there have not been any debates yet and he has yet to really spend cash. It won’t be a blowout though.

I’m optimistic as well about Brady in the Gov. race, especially based on the latest poll, but I think that one might even wind up closer than the Senate race.

Quinn and Brady both narrowly won their primaries. Had either of the defeated candidates (Hynes and Dillard) been nominated to face either Quinn or Brady, they would be down by 15 points now.

Speaking of Brady Quinn, when does Broncos camp open?

  94. Corey says:

Tim, has there been a concession or definite conclusion to the GA Dem Labor Commissioner race yet?

  95. Wes says:

Am I the only one who can’t stand endless commercials for online dating sites?

  96. jones says:

Not true, and I actually should stop beating on the blog dolt.

Tell us how proud you are of Cleangress Tim.

    Lame.

  97. rdelbov says:

    mnw

    thanks a ton

good for you to donate to or through them

  98. Wes says:

I;m going to have to defend Tim on this, Jones. He’s been consistent in criticizing corruption, even when the Dems have been the corrupt ones. Your assault on him in that regard is unfounded.

  99. Wes says:

Can we get to the damn preseason already?

  100. Wes says:

Tancredo officially enters Colorado gubernatorial race. Damn egomaniacal bastard.

  101. MFG says:

Who do you guys pick for the Super Bowl?

    My pick:

    Atlanta 27
    NY Jets 24

  102. Corey says:

    Bears 46
    Patriots 10

  103. Wes says:

That’s a rather interesting pick, MFG.

  104. Wes says:

    Niners 55

    Broncos 10

  105. addisonst says:

Corey, the only friends I have, and most of my friends are dem, that are voting for alexi are black. That’s a sample size of 4. I doubt any of them vote. My further sample of dems numbers roughly 40. None of them admit to voting for alexi. There is not a single alexi sign or sticker in my area. And there are some homes that have obama posters in their window. Alexis will be lucky to break 40. He could lose 500 to 100.

  106. Corey says:

You obviously don’t have any Greek friends.

  107. MFG says:

Atlanta looks like the 2008 Saints, ready for a breakout if they can play just a little bit better on defense, I love their QB Ryan

Jets have that old fashioned primeval physical running game with a great defense, the only thing that makes me rethink this a bit is that Sanchez may be subject to the usual sophomore slump at QB

    Season should be fascinating

  108. Gary Maxwell says:

My quick look at that NH poll, looks like a huge amount of folks with post grad degrees, and also a huge amount of folks with over 100K in income. Slightly more Democrats than Republicans also. And unlike everywhere else NH independents are supporting Shea Porter not voting 2 to 1 against the Dem.

My guess if you laid the democgraphics of their last poll against this one, you would see clearly why the found “movement”! Shea Porter insulted her constituents and voters dont have that short of a memory. Hide and watch.

  109. Brandon says:

    Steelers 63
    Lions 0

  110. MFG says:

    Cmon, serious picks

  111. addisonst says:

The nfc rep is coming from the black and blue div.

  112. MFG says:

    Bears?

Or do you think BrINT Favre will finally come through this year…???

  113. Gary Maxwell says:

Cowboys v it does not matter.

  114. Corey says:

It’s probably going to wind up being the Cowboys and the Colts or something like that. Boring.

  115. BPL in Scottsdale says:

Who do you guys pick for the Super Bowl?

    My pick:

    Atlanta 27
    NY Jets 24

From your keyboard to God’s ears :)

  116. Wes says:

Romo is still the Cowboys QB. No way they make it to the Superbowl.

  117. Wes says:

Damn you, Tom Tancredo. All you’re going to do is elect Hickenlooper. Your political career is over, you egomaniac bastard.

  118. MFG says:

    NFC:

Green Bay is good, Minnesota depends on BrINT having another great year, the Saints are talented but believe their own press clippings, Dallas maybe but I don’t like Romo and I think their coach is dumb, Giants I dunno, Atlanta up and coming

  119. MFG says:

    AFC

The Ravens could be very good, I can’t make up my mind whether Flacco is good or a stiff, Colts seem like they’re always there at the end, Chargers maybe…???

  120. marc says:

Amnesty is always the agenda of Obama. It must be defeated.

  121. dylan says:

Noone will waste their vote on tancredo if he is polling single digits

  122. Gary Maxwell says:

Romo to Dez Bryant Get used to hearing that, a lot.

  123. Ryan says:

UNH poll appears to be of adults and with only about 250 people, +-6 margin of error. Nonetheless, the Shea-Porter seat needs to go red to take the house. Bass looks real strong.

  124. Wes says:

If the Republican and Hickenlooper are locked in a tight race–as is likely since Hickenlooper has a strong base of support in Denver–Dylan, then just a couple of points in Tancredo’s column would propel Hick into the State House.

  125. Wes says:

Couldn’t get the details, but there seems to be a scandal about Alan Grayson’s using taxpayer dollars for a massmailing to his constituents. Anyone heard about this?

  126. jones says:

Wes, Tim talks (and talks) ut still loves Nance and will vote D no matter what; I am sure he would vote for Rangel or nancy in a heartbeat.

He is a drone. The question is he a drone because can not fend for himself w/o union babysitting or if he just wants power.

  127. marc says:

I don’t think the New Hampshire is all that bad. Shea-Porter is at 44% is which about the ceiling of her support core support, while the Republicans are still in a competitive and fractious primary.

Hopefully Manchester Mayor Bob Guinta wins the primary.

  128. marc says:

I’m fairly confident that in 2010 New Hampshire will elected its first female republican senator and two republican congressmen.

  129. Wes says:

I disagree, Jones. Tim has repeatedly said he would vote for a Republican if the Dem in the race were corrupt. He has not spoken maliciously of a number of Republican candidates he knows would be the storngest opponents of Dems he would likely vote for. Tim has his flaws, but nothing he says on here supports your contention that he would vote for a Dem even if he knew the Dem was corrupt.

  130. Corey says:

Grayson used taxpayer money to put together a DVD of his “highlights” in Congress.

  131. AuH2ORepublican says:

In 2012, the PA GOP should run Lou Barletta for the Senate. This November he will be elected in a Scranton/Wilkes-Barre-based, heavily Democrat district that will be very difficult to defend in 2012 (especially since GOP redistricters will likely make it even more heavily Democrat so as to defeat Democrats or protect Republicans in surrounding districts), so Barletta should take his show to the Senate. Barletta would have an excellent chance at defeating the dim-witted Casey, especially since Casey wouldn’t be able to rack up his usual big margins in the Scranton area.

  132. jones says:

    A. Notice he has not answered my ?

    B. He loves Nancy.

  133. Wes says:

Criterion has officially announced it will release the complete, unedited, fully restored version of Fritz Lang’s 1927 masterpiece, Metropolis, in December! Hooray! Hooray!

  134. Diogenes says:

If Wisconsin flips than 1 of either California or Washington will probably flip too.

If only we didn’t have to play defense in a lot of seats that should be safe.

The variance in the senate races is so high. If Jobs start coming back, the mainstream media may again abandon all pretense of objectivity and tout it, allowing an inside straight chance of the gop being limited to only around +5, +6. If it is flat or craters, all bets are off.

The majority is in play and it will revolve around seats from blue states like California, Wisconsin, and Washington: seats that will be red for a full presidential term in 2012-2016.

51 or bust in November. 9+ or bust in 2012 and we repeal Obamacare and get credit from the extremely delayed economic expansion from 2012 onwards.

  135. Wes says:

He may love Pelosi, Jones–indeed, I’d expect nothing else since he has no qualms about being a partisan Democrat. Given the way he does respond to you, I get the sense that he’s laughing at you. That would be my guess as to why Tim doesn’t answer your questions.

  136. addisonst says:

The Bear could win 5 or 12. In that division 12 is unlikely. I think Gbay is the team to beat although Jolly a packer and aggie, the lowest combo is out for the year. That hurts them.

Minny is loaded at all positions save qb. I think favruh is actually a negtive
if the play tjax and get the qb out of the way, they play the pack for the nfc title.

  137. BayernFan says:

Baron Hill (D-IN inc) wont give back Rangel donations.

    http://www.wishtv.com/dpp/news/politics/hill-wont-give-back-rangel-donations

This guy is an arrogant prick.

  138. jones says:

Partisan is one thing; dishonest sophist is another.

Wes would you or any honest person stay in such an awful party.

And he laughs because if he threatens me again he will get banned. And he has no other way to excuse his behavior.

So I am off for the night. Good luck with your honest buddies Tim. You should be proud.

  139. House Sparrow says:

Barletta vs. Casey would be sweet. I think Lou would have a good chance of taking out Cardboard Bob.

If I remember correctly, the last poll that I saw had Casey’s approval at 48%. He’s not in horrible shape yet, but he has supported all of Obama’s increasingly unpopular agenda. He is sinking slower than many of his Dem cohorts, but he IS sinking. The “magic” of the Casey name is wearing off, and Lou Barletta will not self-destruct like Rick Santorum.

If 2012 sees Obama in trouble, then Casey is going to have a hard time convincing PA that he deserves a second term. His “conservative democrat” farce has been exposed as the fraud that it always was. Senator Barletta- I like it already!

  140. rdelbov says:

    AuH2o

not a bad idea about Baretta but PA could go this way–If Carney wins in 2010 he chop his seat up. Its all GOP so Baretta gets the GOP part of lackawanna plus Wyoming

The 15th gets part of Monroe & Pike/Wayne–the Rest goes to the 5th & 17th

  141. House Sparrow says:

Baron Hill is scum. His “Don’t you question me, I know what’s best for you” attitude is a prime example of what is wrong with DC. It is also a prime example of why his party is going to have its mangled political carcass handed to it soon.

I sincerely hope that this obnoxious, elitist asshat is retired from politics, this time PERMANENTLY.

  142. bunu says:

Favre will be lights out good again I bet.

  143. House Sparrow says:

Yes, if Carney manages to win, PLEASE redistrict him out. I’ll gladly take part of his district, which borders mine. It’s solid, deep red, and will be welcome.

I’m not sure which other incumbent Carney would have to face after the redistricting, but I would LOVE to see him have to run here in the 5th. Glenn Thompson would decimate him by 20, IF he was feeling merciful :)

  144. Sickofdems says:

Post #116……..i am going to kick your ass.
