    615 Registered Voters.

How hard is it for polling companies to do a likely voter poll? Do they have to, like, ask one more question?

  2. HD says:

According to exit polls, Obama won two-thirds of the 18 to 29 vote in 2008. In this week’s United Technologies/National Journal Congressional Connection poll, only 47 percent of that age group said they wanted to see the president reelected.

    …..

  3. walt says:

Speaking of polling companies–got a phone all last night from Ogden, UT from some polling company with a stange company name, can’t remember exctly who they were.

They wanted to speak to youngest male voter in the house (me)and wanted to ask some opinion questions.

They asked me when I was born. Asked me what education level I was (MA+45) and then said thank you and ended the “opinion survey”.

Did they do that because they already had their quota in my education level?

Walt – they didn’t know what to do with somebody in West Virginia with a Master’s Degree. There’s no code for that. Zing!

  8. Brandon says:

Oklahoma political consultant Chris Wilson says if the woman behind the reported sexual harassment complaint against GOP Presidential hopeful Herman Cain is allowed to speak publicly, it’ll be the end of Cain’s run for the White House.

Interviewed today on KTOK’s Mullins in the Morning, Wilson, of Wilson-Perkins-Allen Opinion Research headquartered in Washington, D.C. explained he was a witness to the incident. “I was the pollster at the National Restaurant Association when Herman Cain was head of it and I was around a couple of times when this happened and anyone who was involved with the NRA at the time, knew that this was gonna come up.”

Wilson described the woman as a low level staffer who was maybe two years out of college. “This occurred at a restaurant in Crystal City (Virginia) and everybody was aware of it,” he continued. “It was only a matter of time because so many people were aware of what took place, so many people were aware of her situation, the fact she left—everybody knew with the campaign that this would eventually come up.”

Wilson said for legal reasons, he can not discuss details of the incident. “But if she comes out and talks about it, like I said, it’ll probably be the end of his campaign.” The consultant said Cain is digging himself a deeper hole by challenging the woman. He also believes it has put the Restaurant Association in a position where it will have to release the woman from her confidentialilty agreement. “If she talks about it, I think it’ll be the end of his campaign.”

  9. J T says:

It sounds like she is a educated woman, which does give her credibility. She does not seem to be any crackpot like the woman in the Duke case

  10. Addisonst says:

JT, i’m guessing Cain did something wrong. But Anita HIll was educated and she lied through her toofuses.

  11. Bitterlaw says:

This dance is b.s. If she wants to talk she can break the agreement. Most agreements have a clause that says if you break it we are going to sue you. Good luck getting a jury to agree with you against the woman.

  12. Brandon says:

The AP is now reporting that a third accuser has come forward.

  13. Corey says:

    Anita Hill was educated.

But of course, also, Anita Hill was a sole accuser, who had a lot of holes in her story, accusing someone of behavior that everyone else who was around him said would have been totally out of character.

For Cain, this would theoretically come down to how many people are telling similar stories.

Nonetheless, it won’t matter for his future career (unless it was something really, really bad that is proven.) He has not been and is not a realistic candidate for the Presidency.

  14. Bitterlaw says:

Now I understand. MD was one of the people harassed by Cain. That’s why he has gone quiet.

  15. Corey says:

Cain asked MD if he wanted to hop on the Cain Train?

  16. Bitterlaw says:

“So, you want to sue Ms. Defendant for not honoring your bribe?”

    “Yes.”

    “No further questions.”

  17. J T says:

Anita Hill was a liar and scuzette.

she paid for it dearly too. She was never able to get a Federal Judgeship like she wanted. Senate GOP made sure of that

  18. J T says:

Add, this has to help Perry somewhat.

The disturbing trend here, is how Republican black Men are getting trashed left and right.

Cain, Clarence Thomas, Allen West etc…

  19. Addisonst says:

    How about a Corey-Add-JT cagematch?

Not gonna happen Bitter. Corey is my Landsmen and almost a mini me. The only thing we don’t agree on is Romney but we will close ranks once we have a nomney, Mitt or otherwise.

And Jt is a fine American. I wish he still rooted for the Monsters of the Midway so he could slap you but it’s all good.

  22. Addisonst says:

JT, looks like Israel is going to attack Iran.

Finally the Jews will control some of the oil supply.

That makes sense since we already control govt, wall st, hollywood, the media, mlb, and most of the good pork places.

It never dawned on me to take control of oil. I should be kicked out of the religion. Bibi is a genius.

  23. J T says:

Only problem I have with Corey is the PC thing, but that is very minor.

Corey is a fine IL Republican, as is my man Addison

  24. J T says:

Add, I hope Bibi tells Zero to F off. He knows that the House GOP is watching Israel’s back .

Israel is the only true Democracy in the Middle East and our 70 year loyal ally.

  25. Addisonst says:

cuz we’re the 3 best friends that anyone could have.

  26. Bitterlaw says:

19.Anita Hill was a liar and scuzette.

JT – Liar? Yes. What evidence do you have that she was in any way sleazy or “loose?” You always take it to the next level.

  27. Addisonst says:

i’m not sure if Israel invading Iran hurts s4b. Sure s4b is anti israel but he’ll probably be put in the position of having to side w/ the good guys. S4b is the type of guy who would find your wallet, return it, then ask for credit for doing the right thing or a reward.

  28. Cory says:

    Bitterlaw, stop being so PC….

  29. J T says:

Bitter, trying to falsely ruin the career and reputation of a fine judge, as he tries to elevate to the SCOTUS, is not scuzzy?

  30. Bitterlaw says:

Maybe I think that calling women sexually degrading names without evidence is stupid and wrong. I gave him “liar.”

  31. J T says:

Cory, please get help or a passport

  32. Corey says:

If I wasn’t so busy today with work stuff, I’d be all for some intramural Illinois Bastard sniping.

  33. Bitterlaw says:

No, JT. It is not “scuzzy.” It is wrong, amoral and vile.

  34. Addisonst says:

JT, I voted for that T party Polish rifle for gov in the primary. Would he have beaten gov clueless last Nov?

  35. J T says:

Bitter, side with Vegetable Lasagna, what do I care.

  36. Bitterlaw says:

JT – feel comfortable while Cory backs you?

  37. Corey says:

Voting for Adam A. in a primary was pretty pointless. He came in last or next to last.

Kirk Dillard lost the primary by 153 votes to Bill Brady.

Had he been the nominee, Quinn would have lost his office by double digits and we would not have this redistricting catastrophe here.

  38. NYCmike says:

The disturbing trend here, is how Republican black Men are getting trashed left and right.

Cain, Clarence Thomas, Allen West etc…

-Let us see what the facts are first. Maybe Cain did do something inappropriate. Or maybe not. Let’s not lump him in with others just because the color of his skin. He knew what he was getting into. I know if I ever run for office, I will definitely disclose my addiction to Suzy-Q’s! (not SUZYQUE)

  39. Addisonst says:

Corey, I didn’t think that any of them would lose to Mopey. But i thought McKenna would be the nominee and I was fine with that so I voted for the Polish rifle.

  40. J T says:

    Add, the guy from DuPage?

Dillard would have beaten Quinn, but those ads showing him as a buddy of Obama, killed him in the Primary.

The IL GOP will have to run candidates from the Chicago Burbs, like Kirk in the future. The Chicago vote needs to be ebbed somehow.

State Treasurer Rutherford would crush Quinn in 2014

  41. Addisonst says:

“He knew what he was getting into,”
    I say let em crash.

Malaprop you are beat to the easy movie reference there. Who’s your daddy.

  42. J T says:

    38. Bitter, he was being sarcastic as usual. He always takes drive by shots at me, and then dissapears

  43. Addisonst says:

JT, just like w/ Reid, actually even more so b/c Reid is a powerhouse and Quinn isn’t, I didn’t think anybody could lose to Quinn.

  44. J T says:

Corey, believe it or not, I voted for Dilliard. All those Dupage guys erased each other.

Those boneheads should have gone to a bar and hashed it out.

  45. Addisonst says:

Would chek favor a fence on the northern border to keep Kommie Kory out?

  46. J T says:

Brady was the only one who could Add. During the primary, Brady got a horribly low amount of votes in the Chicago area. I should have known. Plummer as his running mate too.

  47. J T says:

    44. Bitter, I meant cory in that post, not you

  48. Addisonst says:

I had no use for Dullard at all. In hindsight i wish he’d won the nomination but as I said, I didn’t think it mattered. I thought mckenna would be the nominee and anybody would beat Quinn the escargot.

  49. Bitterlaw says:

Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain speaks after meeting with doctors attending the Docs4PatientCare conference in Alexandria, Va., Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011. (AP

WASHINGTON (AP) — A third former employee says she considered filing a workplace complaint over what she considered aggressive and unwanted behavior by Herman Cain when she worked for the presidential candidate in the 1990s. She says the behavior included a private invitation to his corporate apartment.

She worked for the National Restaurant Association when he was its head. She told The Associated Press that Cain made sexually suggestive remarks or gestures about the same time that two co-workers had settled separate harassment complaints against him.

The employee described situations in which she said Cain told her he had confided to colleagues how attractive she was and invited her to his corporate apartment outside work. She spoke on condition of anonymity, saying she feared retaliation.

    Cain’s campaign declined to comment.

  55. Bitterlaw says:

  60. jason says:

Those that think if Cain implodes it will help Perry are mistaken. That train already left the station.

Perry benefited from the “I am not Mitt Romney” mantra when he first announced. He ate up Bachmann’s support and became the front runner. But people left him in droves because of HIM, not because Cain was suddenly a stellar candidate. Cain became “I am not Mitt Romney”. However, those voters already caught on that Perry in unelectable.

Most will not go back to him. They will be spread out among Romney (not a favorite, the only viable candidate), Newt (the smartest candidate) and Bachmann (the most conservative candidate).

  61. Addisonst says:

Ryno is not a sharp guy. He never had a coherent thought as a player. Theocracy wants smart, leaders of men.

Ryno would have been a disaster here.

  62. jason says:

” in which she said Cain told her he had confided to colleagues how attractive she was and invited her to his corporate apartment outside work ”

    Wow…. that’s it????

  63. pitchaboy says:

The guy leaking Cain stuff was a Perry pollster. Potentially, this sinks both of them and Romney gains.

  64. Bitterlaw says:

The story in Philadelphia when Sandberg joined the organization was that he was pissed when the Cubs did not offer him a job as the Coach. I think he would have no problem sticking it to the Cubs.

  65. jason says:

Aren’t you guys bringing in indentured servants for sweat shops and Chinese restaurants too?

  66. Brandon says:

The pile on continues. More accusations of inappropriate behavior.

  67. jason says:

I have always said Perry will not gain tearing others down. May hurt them, won’t help him. He needs to make his own case, but he has failed miserably at that.

  68. SUSYQUE says:

#57…The article I posted had nothing to do with Perry,
he wasn’t even mentioned. It’s the latest AP about a 3rd lady coming out to accuse Cain. Allegations are flyinghigh, like for Sentorum, Romney and Perry…so don’tsingle Perry out.

Tell me Better…if Perry won would you vote for him?

  69. Bitterlaw says:

Sandberg manages the Cardinals while Pujols plays for the Cubs. How awesome would that be? Cardinals-Cubs games would be riots.

  70. J T says:

    65. Agreed Pitch. Romney gains the most

  71. Corey says:

So busy and the filter is eating my posts.

Whatever…. I will take that as a sign. At least JT won’t rule out Rutherford yet based on what the filter did not let me say.

  72. Bitterlaw says:

SUSYQUE – I would vote for Perry despite the fact that his main appeal to many is his religion rather than his policies.

As for Perry being the main suspect, Marv bragged openly about Perry assembling a team of political hitmen and suddenly the candidate who gained the most on Perry gets hit. Until another source is confirmed, I blame Perry.

  73. jason says:

“I thought mckenna would be the nominee and anybody would beat Quinn the escargot.”

    woo woo woo

  81. SUSYQUE says:

#75 Better…I am glad to hear you will be a loyal voter for whomever gets the nomination. That is how I feel. In the meantime, we all have our choices and that’s about it. Why the consternation?
Why disparage a person’s faith…you don’t know their heart, only God knows who belong to HIm….many people think because they go to church they belong to Jesus, but they live lives that so not reflect a sense of holiness and reverence for our Lord Jesus. They are deceived.

  82. jason says:

It won’t make any difference whether Perry is to blame or not. The women could be democrats like Anita Hill out for a scalp.

Perry’s problem is that this is not amateur hour, where you get to choose what kind of gig you want to come up with and when.

Perry can’t articulate a coherent answer to simple questions, can’t debate, is goofy on TV, and has squandered a huge opportunity because HE is not ready for prime time.

Those who support him are now relegated to saying he loves God and America and to hope an improbable combination of circumstances sinks all the other candidates and leaves him the last man standing to be slaughtered by Obama. And to think Marv was even comparing Perry to Ronald Reagan (against my strenuous objections).

  91. jason says:

” Would you not vote for General Petraus if he ran for President because he did not immediately resign from the Army when Obama became President?”

Apples and oranges. Didn’t Huntsman actually resign from being governor to join up with Obama?

If Hunstman was already ambassador and stayed on it would be different.

I think he was a little awed by the glow of the Messiah….

  92. Bitterlaw says:

SUSYQUE – I do not know Perry’s heart. I do know that he began his campaign by putting his faith on display. His tax plan? Three months later. I question whether his faith serves God or himself.

  93. J T says:

Bitter, you cannot compare Military posts, to political posts.

Hunstsman left the Governorship of Utah to help Obama politically in China.

  94. jason says:

I will vote and campaign and donate to any GOP candidate except Ron Paul (not GOP anyway).

  95. J T says:

    94. Thanks Jason, my point exactly

  96. Bitterlaw says:

If Hunstman was already ambassador and stayed on it would be different.

I think it is exactly the same – answer the call to serve the Nation. We just disagree. Cream soda.

  97. J T says:

Yes, I will not vote or support Ron Paul either

  98. J T says:

    99. Fair enough

  99. jason says:

    - that was very funny! what movie was that in?

  101. jason says:

” I think it is exactly the same – answer the call to serve the Nation.”

Nah, he answered the call to serve Obama. He could have refused. He was not a scientist that only he could come up with the formula to save the world from a horrible plague.

  102. jason says:

    103. Thanks, finally some recognition. I read it somewhere, not a movie.

    re: 76 – Great movie.

-This is why I asked which movie. Was that you Knighthawkdown?

  105. jason says:

Actually, Huntsman was a patsy. At the time Obama nominated him, he was considered a strong contender for the nomination.

All Obama was doing was trying to eliminate a rival, and at the time this was mentioned in the press.

The fact Hunstman fell for such an obvious ploy is a good reason not to support him.

  106. J T says:

    108. Agreed. Hunstsman’s are Billionaires too

  107. jason says:

Jenny must be on break at the meth lab.

  108. SUSYQUE says:

not my favorite trading places reference but it’s still a trading places reference. And though some may disagree, Trading places is THE official movie of HHR.

And this is THE sportswatch of the 80′s

  111. Bitterlaw says:

Trading Places is set in Philadelphia. Case closed. Larry Fine and Trading Places? Winner.

  112. Addisonst says:

I don’t have a problem w/Huntman having worked for the POTUS. I have a much bigger problem w/ his policies.

I still believe if the President asks you to serve your country, you put aside party and work for your country.

My parents have a friend who was a reasonably high naval officer in the 60′s. Nixon asked him to take some sort of post and he didn’t want to (although it wasn’t political, he just didn’t want the job). He left DC and moved to Chicago b/c you didn’t turn down your president and then stay in DC. It was inappropriate to do so.

  113. Addisonst says:

make that high ranking i doubt he was high.

  114. Addisonst says:

Bitter you do get credit for Trading Places and i’ve given it before. I’ve even given you an homage in the past with the gratuitous trading places quote of the day “in philadelphia, it’s worth 50 bucks”

  115. jason says:

Ron Paul is an anti-semite and America hater who believes we brought 9/11 on ourselves. He lives in a lalaland where Iran is not a threat to anybody. He is a nutcase who is still talking about the “military industrial complex” and the gold standard. He is one of the biggest porkers in Congress and pretends to be a fiscal conservative. He would gut the military. He thinks traitors like Bradley Manning should go free.

I wouldn’t vote for him for dogcatcher.

  116. MFG says:

I get it now you guys are bookies!

See Mortimer I told you he’d get it

  117. Addisonst says:

And trading places is a better movie than Blues Bros or Ferris Bueller but both of those are better show cases of chicago than trading places is of philly.

  118. MFG says:

Who been putting their kools out on my floor?

  119. jason says:

” jason, i’m a christian so i will not respond to your childish attacks”

We both support Romney. But heck, we can use the fruitcake vote too I guess.

  120. Addisonst says:

for mfg having to choose between Chi and philly monday is probably like having to choose in a war between Iran and Syria

  121. Brandon says:

Just got my sample ballot for the elections next week. Someone is running under the “Cleanliness is Godliness” party.

  122. Addisonst says:

I agree Huntsman was a patsy and that was s4b’s motive. But I’m not gonna denigrate a guy for putting country over self. I’ll denigrate him for his many stupid ideas.

  123. jason says:

” I still believe if the President asks you to serve your country, you put aside party and work for your country.”

I am all for serving your country, have done it myself.

But Huntsman should have seen that Obama was just playing politics and using him as a sucker.

    Not lofty motives here.

  124. MFG says:

    Our usual bet Mortimer?

  125. MFG says:

    Beef jerky?

  126. Addisonst says:

There are certain people I couldn’t vote for even over s4b. I couldn’t vote for alan keyes in 04 b/c he was nuts. I couldn’t vote for Ron Paul and I couldn’t vote for David Dook.

it’s a shame Paul has to open his mouth on foreign affairs b/c on domestic things he’s not all kooky.

Paul would be happier to see OBL and Sammy Hanson still alive.

  127. Addisonst says:

I will get Corey to persuade MFG to root for the Monsters on Monday.

    Corey: Romney!!!! All you want!!!!

  128. jason says:

“Tt’s a shame Paul has to open his mouth on foreign affairs b/c on domestic things he’s not all kooky.”

Actually he is, it’s just not as whacky as foreign policy. His convoluted justification for being a porker is hilarious (I vote for other people’s pork and they vote for mine, I don’t vote for my own pork). Gold standard? Please. Eliminate the fed and let Congress fix interest rates? No thanks.

  129. Corey says:

    Huh Add?

So who is the frontrunner to be Cubs manager now?

DeMarco Hale? Whomever the hell he is?

  130. Emerica says:

” Eliminate the fed and let Congress fix interest rates?”

If there was is no central bank, congress would not be setting interest rates.

  131. Emerica says:

    What a dumb argument btw.,

  132. lisab says:

” She claims that sexual assault by School Administrators is rampant in schools.”

    it is.

    if you were a pedophile

and wanted easy access to children … what job would you want?

elementary schools don’t hire many male teachers, so principals, janitors and other support staff riddled with bad people.

guess what abuses are NOT nationally tracked in schools? guess who is responsible for tracking stuff like that?

one study that was done 10+ years ago stated that 30% of all sexual abuse in schools was NOT from teachers.

eliminate male teachers and male principals and supportstaff and sexual abuse in schools would plummet

  133. Corey says:

    Make that DeMarlo Hale

    http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/22297882/33084899

So this list also includes Davey Martinez, who as a Cubs teammate of Ryne Sandberg, was one of several teammates who slept with the first Mrs. Sandberg. That could really be interesting if they are both managers.

Also, Tim Bogar? I did not know he had a job on an MLB staff. He is an alum of mine (and Monetarist’s) HS alma mater and also of my family’s subdivision.

  134. Emerica says:

    Lisab is a misandrist.

  135. Corey says:

If Francona is not available (and it seems like he has personal issues), Epstein just ought to hire Bob Brenley and be done with it.

  136. MFG says:

Acroso maybe Ron Paul will be the next anti Mitt

  137. MFG says:

    Who goes after pujols?

    The maxwells?

  138. DW says:

118…I asked a Ron Paul supporter recently who in America would be willing to step up and throw all their cash in a furnace so we could get the total cash in existance low enough so that it could be attached again to gold.

His response was that it all wouldn’t have to be linked to gold. Other precious metals and tangable assets could be used…REALLY? Do we really want to go back to the days of William Jennings Bryan and Free-Silver speeches? Endless debates about the related value of things that aren’t really related to each other.

Then on the topic of the wars…the average Ron Paul supporter asks questions like:

“Why are we such a war-like people?”

“What do we expect from the Iranians? We keep attacking them and their allies in the middle east, so naturally they will defend themselves”

Now some of the stuff like limited government and spending reduction, I can agree with the average Ron Paul supporter…but it doesn’t take long for the converstation to drift into disagreement.

  139. lisab says:

    walt,

to answer your question teachers today are trained to be careful.

once a new teacher, maybe 21, came to me because one of her 4th graders had a “male problem” — “it was all red and itchy” :)

she came to me because i was married!

being older and wiser, i informed her she did the right thing to come to her mentor, and that it was a DEFINITELY a nurse problem :)

  140. jason says:

” And trading places is a better movie than Blues Bros or Ferris Bueller”

All three were good. Blues Bros is my favorite of the three.

  141. Addisonst says:

I’m not sure the gold standard is such a terrible idea anymore. And i wouldn’t get rid of the fed but it is out of control. Paul wants to get rid of a lot of govt depts. That part i like. IF only he wanted to get rid of ahmadinnerjacket as much as he wants to get rid of the fed.

  142. lisab says:

    “Lisab is a misandrist.”

    no, a realist …

you forget, i have actually met men

  143. lisab says:

    Blues Bros was best

  144. MFG says:

If Paul had non demented foreign policy views he would win the nomination easily

  145. Addisonst says:

Corey, it wouldn’t surprise me if the Ray lets Maddon go and promotes Davey.

Maddon is more expensive and has only 1 year left. And Theo considered him in bostown.

We might win 162 games next year.

  146. Addisonst says:

I’m partial to Ferris having cut school to go to Wrigley before the movie came out and part of it being filmed in my home town. And John Hughes is a N. Shore guy and my h.s. I think. But Trading Places is the beast of 80′s comedies.

Hell even Al Franken was funny in it. That’s how funny it is.

  147. Brandon says:

Cain says a report will come out that will vindicate him.

    http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1111/67485.html

  148. Emerica says:

    #149

Wouldn’t matter what his views on foreign policy if he follows through with his domestic policy.

If the government has no money and can’t print money, they won’t be to do all that stuff overseas anyway. His domestic policy and foreign policy are all part of the same agenda.

If you want to stop the war machine, you have to go after the money machine

  149. lisab says:

“Maybe I think that calling women sexually degrading names without evidence is stupid and wrong. I gave him “liar.”” Bitterlaw

you mean like calling them a “flat chested whore?”

as i recall that would fall under “libel per se” and you just discuss how much not if you pay under the law.

which would be an especially large amount of money since i am married, have only been with one man and am a virgin

  150. Tim says:

    Corey or Addisonst:
I think they made a mistake by disqualifying Sandberg as a candidate because he had not managed or coached at the Major League level. It would certainly be a popular choice with the fans. And, he has certainly cut his teeth already, both as a player, and as a coach in the Minors. So, why not give him his shot?

    Thoughts?

  151. Addisonst says:

The film’s title comes from the nickname invented by students and staff for detention at New Trier High School, the school attended by the son of one of John Hughes’ friends. Thus, those who were sent to detention were designated members of “The Breakfast Club”. ”

Now this part is factual except Breakfast Club was weekdays before school. Not saturdays. And how do i know this? B/c I attended several breakfast clubs at New Trier West high school in 1980 and 1981. I was railroaded of course.

  152. ameister says:

have read many articles on the Corzine story since it broke. No Corzine (D) mentions at all and not many that he was a gov. but none of those say Dem Gov.
The press is going at it using the ex-Goldman banker meme. The guy bet 6.5 billion of the firms money on euro sovereign debt derivatives. He had to have some inside info as I said before.
Problem is you can’t trust the guys in charge in D.C. or they are incompetent.
So he Unexpectedly lost 6.5 billion.

    http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-11-01/others-pay-price-for-corzine-s-risky-revenge-william-d-cohan.html

  153. Addisonst says:

Dim Tim, Ryno is a dim bulb. He is the last think the northsiders need. We need to stop w the cuddly feel good hirings and get real, smart baseball men.

I hope Ryno goes to st. loser. Let him lose there.

  154. Emerica says:

    Documentary worth watching.

BBC documentary A Century of Self: how modern politicians use focus groups to manipulate you.

Skip to about 3/5 or 2/3 towards the end as the beginning is too long\boring but the end is great.

  155. Addisonst says:

OWS should go occupy Corzine’s hood. he bankrupted a state and a company. He cost thousands their jobs. And looks like MF might have some fraud and other no good stuff

  156. lisab says:

    “Thoughts?”

yeah, fat, drunk and stupid is no way for you to go through life tm

  157. Brandon says:

    Kentucky Governor(SurveyUSA)

    Beshear: 54%
    Williams: 29%
    Galbraith: 9%

  158. Brandon says:

Cain’s campaign mgr was just on FOX. I almost didn’t recognize him without his cigarette.

  159. jason says:

Ron Paul’s domestic ideas are just as kooky as his foreign policy.

” If the government has no money and can’t print money, they won’t be to do all that stuff overseas anyway. His domestic policy and foreign policy are all part of the same agenda.”

    I rest my case.

  160. Tim says:

You’ve had plenty of Baseball men up there, Add. And, you haven’t won a pennant since 1945.

You had a great team in ’69, for instance. I saw that team. And, you had a great Baseball man managing that team. I can name you the starting lineup of that team, along with most of the pitching staff. And, without looking it up.

Pretty good for someone who is “Dim”,eh, asshat?

  161. Brandon says:

“The Perry campaign needs to apologize to Herman Cain and his family.”

  162. Tim says:

    #162:
That isn’t true. I’m not fat or stupid………

  163. Brandon says:

    Heh.

  164. Wes says:

I haven’t been around most of the day, so I don’t know if this has been posted: A third woman says Cain harassed her. It looks like an endless drip.

  165. Emerica says:

Hopefully Cain goes the way of Bachmann and Perry.

Take up about 10% but doesn’t actually go anywhere in Iowa.,

  166. KnightHawk says:

    107. Yup that was my comment NYCMike, trading places is classic in my opinion, sorry for the late response I ran out for a nice fall sunset walk.

  167. lisab says:

“That isn’t true. I’m not fat or stupid………”

you thought the london underground was a political movement

  168. Addisonst says:

dim tim, the dim is a term of endearment.

You are afterall a liberal. Although not an unpleasant one.

And I called you Dim tim on your last tour of duty.

    I’m keeping it.

Durocher was a good manager although he screwed up in 69 Sandberg will be more quade than durocher. I applaud him for riding the buses in the minors but he’s not major lig material. We just got the best mind in baseball. we’re not screwing up the program w a feel good dolt as manager.

  169. Addisonst says:

Ok malaprop you don’t work as Jamie Lee Curtis and I don’t care how many sets of genitalia she was born with.

You need to quote shelly duvall. Olive Oyl. That’s your niche. Or the stick in Cheers.

  170. Cory says:

Iowa Radio host Steve Deace also says Cain said inappropriate things to his staff:
    http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1111/67478.html

It’s sounding to me like Cain enjoys telling women how attractive they are, and doesn’t realize that he is freaking a lot of them out.

  171. Brandon says:

I guess nobody really does read what I post considering I posted that 100 posts ago…

  172. Cory says:

    Whoops.

    Wacka Wacka?

  173. Brandon says:

    You vegetable lasagna…

  174. Wes says:

This looks like a death of 1000 cuts for Cain.

  175. Wes says:

Team Cain blames Team Perry for airing the harassment allegations. Interesting.

  176. GF says:

Telling a woman something akin to “you’re so pretty” or “you’re simply lovely” is not sexual harassment.

Telling them that they are smoking hot and making the moves on them, that is another thing entirely.

People need to grow up and realize that they are not being preyed upon every time THEY feel uncomfortable.

For now, I am staying neutral in this whole affair (pun intended), but guilty or not, Cain is NOT handling this well.

  177. Tim says:

    #174:
Oh, I know you’re just having some fun with me. I threw that out there, to get a reaction. LOL
