Gingrich Leads in GA by Double Digits

Newt Gingrich might actually win his quasi-home state of Georgia next week if a new poll from Scott Rasmussen is to be believed.

PRESIDENT – GEORGIA – GOP PRIMARY (Rasmussen)
Newt Gingrich 38%
Mitt Romney 26%
Rick Santorum 20%
Ron Paul 7%

To me, the bigger news is that Romney has moved ahead of Santorum for second place. This poll was done March 1st among 750 likely voters.

Uh oh, there might be a video of Obama drinking from keg!

  2. Phil says:

Drinking beer? That’s not being a very good Muslim.

” santorum can’t help it if michael moore wanted people to vote for him, give me a break ”

I hope TimV was being facetious with this comment…

Once you ask Democrats to vote for you certainly that specifically includes Michael Moore…

  4. Bitterlaw says:

He likely prefers broadway to nascar, wine over beer. A real sweater man if there ever was one.

    Comment by Tim V — March 2, 2012 @ 12:27 pm

Tim V. – Some people are deep. I would rather see a Broadway show than spend 30 seconds watching NASCAR. I will drink beer but don’t drink wine. I don’t own a sweater.

  5. jason says:

” Why should you be surprised when your detestable attitude towards NEWT and Santorum causes their supporters to have a detestable attitude towards Romney??”

Translation: Santorum supporters are upset about Romney supporters refusing to support a certain loser, so therefore they will prefer to see Obama elected.

    Okayyy……

All the detestable things Santorum supporters say about Romney would not keep me from voting for Santorum, btw.

From American Spectator regarding the 1976 GOP Primaries:

“In a number of other primaries in addition to Texas, Reagan did the same thing, either winning due to Democratic crossovers or keeping it close due to the Dems.

Ford moaned a lot about it, but Reagan repeatedly put up stirring defenses for allowing everybody to vote for whomever they wanted. He said that the GOP candidate would need Dems and independents to vote GOP to win the fall campaign anywya, so why not appeal to them in the primaries, too?

Reagan won the argument, and only some last-minute vote-renting (of the legal kind) by the Ford White House kept Reagan from winning the nomination at the 1976 convention. But that clsoe call set him up for his triumphant campaign in 1980.”

  7. jason says:

    ” I don’t own a sweater.”

Really? There is a guy who is dead ringer for you that shops at the Amish market in Shrewsbury.

  8. mnw says:

    zero sez, “I don’t bluff.”

    Right. He folds.

  9. Bitterlaw says:

The Shrewsbury market flies a rainbow flag from what I’ve heard. Real men hang out in Kleinfeltersville. Just sayin”

  10. jason says:

    6. Different concept. Reagan Democrats are not the Daily Kos/SEIU types that are crossing over to help Santorum. Reagan Democrats stayed with him through the general election. How many Union thugs and DKos types are going to vote for Santorum in the GE?

Reagan appealed to conservative Democrats to build a coalition, Santorum is appealing to left wingers to subvert the process.

    The difference is huge.

  11. hellbelly says:

…so your saying Santorum’s robocalls went only to Kos-types? Wow…his organization is way more sophisticated than I’ve given him credit for.

  12. lisab says:

“they should be able to run on a blend that is 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline (the so-called E85 blend), or even a coal-derived methanol/gas mixture.”

actually you can make oil from coal

    for less than $60/barrel

and we have lots of coal

  13. jason says:

” Real men hang out in Kleinfeltersville.”

Good to know. Are most of the real men over at Enck’s Gun Barn or at Stohler’s Meat Market?

  14. SUSYQUE says:

Sad to say…Sentorum danced with the devil when he invited Dems to vote in the MI election. He is now a tainted nominee. Never mind what happened in the last election…the Dems are more vicious than ever.

  15. jason says:

    11. It went to registered Democrats in a union state like Michigan. It was supported by DKos in Operation Hilarity and encouraged by Michael Moore.

Because of it Santorum avoided a double digit loss and came within 3 points of winning with people who have no intention of supporting him in the GE.

Calling this “appealing to Reagan Democrats” is a joke.

  16. lisab says:

Cape Town – A Randburg man has posted an advert on the Gumtree classifieds website in which he would like a midget to kick his ex-girlfriend on the shins.

“I was recently dumped and require the services of a midget to go and kick my ex-girlfriend in the shins whilst she is at work,” he writes.

The man, known only as Brett, works for a marketing company, told the Star that his advert was not a joke.

“I clearly took it out because I want my ex-girlfriend to be kicked in the shins. Midget revenge is the only form of revenge that works these days,” he said.

Let’s hope the delegate stealing will kill Mittens, the pond scum of the earth in this year’s cycle.

It’s not over yet. Rick leads in OH, and he’s working on his message to blue collars in his close to home state. He can still win OH narrowly, and can and will win OK, TN, and such.

Romney’s antics, from FL to IA to ME where the Establishment has played tricks or downright cheated is becoming a news story now. The polls may reverse again.

  45. Tim V says:

I’m also sorry to hear about your Dad, Bitter.

did you name your evangelical of the day yet ?

  46. GF says:

  49. janz says:

More Romney Derangement Syndrome being expressed by dingle. Anybody who leads with so much intense dislike like that is not a rational thinker.

  50. Bitterlaw says:

Maybe Dingle is really Add. The posts are stupid enough. Mitt stole a delegate by winning the state by more than 30,000 votes. Santorum did nothing wrong by trying to get Democrats to the polls to cook the election.

  51. MittRomneyStoleMyDelegate! says:

“I Don’t Want Me No Mormon” is all its ever been…

  52. Bitterlaw says:

That said, can I snatch “Lapsed Catholic Married into Jewry of the Day” by acclamation?

  58. SUSYQUE says:

  62. lisab says:

    abc’s “what would you do?”

features a mormon woman admitting to her mormon boyfriend that she, a mormon, once had sex with someone, who may or may not have been a mormon. having premarital sex is against their mormon religion.

the mormon boyfriend then freaks out and yells at her in public, calling her tainted, as mormons are well known to do.

the show then asks, “what would you do?”

  63. Bitterlaw says:

GF – you are indeed the Favorite Lapsed Catholic Jew Lover of the day. Any other categories? Pagan of the Day? Anabaptist of the Day? Lutheran who actually hates pot luck suppers of the Day? I’m not standing at the scorer’s table all day.

there is one thing that could be on the obama tapes that could really throw things into a tizzy

what if obama is shown with a pretty white girlfriend?

that would hurt him with black women, especially michelle, rev. write type black men and just throw open the doors of all kinds of race baiting

  65. Bitterlaw says:

Maybe there is evidence that Obama used to watch Phil Donahue instead of Oprah.

  66. Bitterlaw says:

If Obama preferred Sally Jesse Paphael to Oprah, it could shake things up.

  67. lisab says:

i doubt anything else, except outright slurs against whites or Jewish people

    or

    a pretty white girlfriend

    would hurt him.

slurs against whites would lose him the election

and a pretty white girlfriend would just tick off black women …

drugs or cheating or watching donohue would not hurt him much …

as long as he did not wear a sweater

  71. Tim V says:

lapsed or not, gf, you can be my catholic of the day

  72. Tim V says:

Breitbart promised, “The videos are going to come out, the narrative is going to come out, that Barack Obama met a bunch of silver ponytails in the 1980s, like Bill (Ayers) and Bernadine (Dohrn), who said one day we would have the presidency, and the rest of us slept as they plotted, and they plotted, and they plotted and they oversaw hundreds of millions of dollars in the Annenberg Challenge and they had real money, from real capitalists. Then they became communists. We got to work on that. That is a parenthesis. Barack Obama is a radical, we should not be afraid to say that! Okay? And Barack Obama was launched from Bill and Bernadine’s salon. I’ve been there.”

The CPAC crowd went wild when Breitbart said ““We are going to vet him (Obama) from his college days to show you why racial division and class warfare are central to what hope and change was sold in 2008.”

Breitbart promised to release the video’s just in time to destroy Barack Obama’s chances for being re-elected, i.e. motive for killing Breitbart.

Just a little more than two weeks later, Breitbart, age 43, fell over dead while walking his dog near his Brentwood, California home. Officials say his death “appears” to be from “natural causes”, but an autopsy is being performed to determine his actual cause of death.

Breibart’s passing has all the classic elements needed to create dramatic conspiracy theories:

  73. Bitterlaw says:

Wow. Even after awarding Favorite Evangelical to Tim V., he names GF Favorite Catholic. Of course, Tim V. loves lapsed Catholics. The more lapsed the better.

  74. Tim V says:

    http://www.thecypresstimes.com/article/News/Opinion_Editorial/CONSPIRACY_OBAMA_MURDERED_BREITBART/56922

oops sorry bitter, you told me you didn’t want my award a week ago or so. I’ll be happy to name you tomorrow.

  75. Bitterlaw says:

Hmmm. When the mother of my son’s friend blew an aneurism in her kitchen at the age of 41 she must have really pissed off Obama. It all makes sense now.

  76. Tim V says:

bitter, my favorite catholics are the ones that become evangelicals. lapsed catholics are my 2nd fav.

those that toss out vulgate passages are lower on my list

  77. Bitterlaw says:

Tim V. – when your wife said she didn’t want a present, did you not buy jer a present? You think I meant that? I thought I would run away with the award because even though we have many Catholics, I know there are a few that have no shot at the award.

  78. Tim V says:

she might have dated obama, hence the aneurism

  79. Bitterlaw says:

My rule is very simple. People can believe what they want. However, if a Catholic leaves the Church, I don’t care why. I don’t want to hear why. I want them to shut up, stop bad-mouthing the Church, and move on to wherever they find peace.

  80. Tim V says:

yes, she told me she didn’t want anything for her birthday but I bought her a present anyway.

bitter, women are like that but not men.

    worldnetdaily would be more likely

  84. Tim V says:

oh, sorry, i was hasty. you said ROMNEY not obama. my bad.

  85. janz says:

    Bitter

Breitbart’s death will most likely continue to be ruled as via ‘natural causes.’ However, political cover-ups are not out of the realm of possibility, either. Even my very matter-of-fact husband’s initial thoughts were ones of suspicions, considering AB’s tendancy to attract enemies, and especially in light of his very public call to vet and take down Obama’s reelection.

  86. Gpo says:

I’m tempted to join him, his actions and behavior this cycle have been awful, he’s now now long a net plus for the Republicans to stand behind.

  88. Hall Monitor says:

#67… I don’t think it is a wise idea to speak
of Mormonism in a disrespectful way by talking about women and sex whether it’s on a TV show or not. The lefties on AbC and other channels have little respect for anyone who is serious and or frivolous about their faith. Mitt Romney takes his religion seriously and respectfully.
All religions have some “strange”customs or beliefs one may feel is weird.

  89. Tim V says:

oh wait … i do … zero times!

in fact, the most disrespectful i have ever seen a mormon act is when romney asked santorum about the birth control issue

  99. Bitterlaw says:

Janz – I’m not a conspiracy guy. Vince Foster killed himself. The September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks were not an “inside job.” Oswald acted alone. Clinton spunked on Monica and there was nobody else on her grassy knoll.

  100. Bitterlaw says:

Spunk still goes through the filter but J ENNA gets blocked? Damn.

  101. jan says:

Rush no longer serves any function in the advancement of Republicans or the conservatism. His endorsement of Democrats voting in a GOP primary was beyond the pale basically teaming up with Michael Moore and Santorum to make the GOP has weak has possible. He is now a liability.

Sandra Fluke’s Appearance Is No Fluke

Posted by Just a Grunt on Mar 02, 2012 at 10:49 am

For me the interesting part of the story is the ever-evolving “coed”. I put that in quotes because in the beginning she was described as a Georgetown law student. It was then revealed that prior to attending Georgetown she was an active women’s right advocate. In one of her first interviews she is quoted as talking about how she reviewed Georgetown’s insurance policy prior to committing to attend, and seeing that it didn’t cover contraceptive services, she decided to attend with the express purpose of battling this policy. During this time, she was described as a 23-year-old coed. Magically, at the same time Congress is debating the forced coverage of contraception, she appears and is even brought to Capitol Hill to testify. This morning, in an interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show, it was revealed that she is 30 years old, NOT the 23 that had been reported all along.

In other words, folks, you are being played. She has been an activist all along and the Dems were just waiting for the appropriate time to play her.

While she is described as a “third year law student” they always fail to mention that she is also the past president of Law Students for Reproductive Justice.

That is where you and I differ. Some events, which have too much synchronicity attached to them, gives me pause as to some of the behind-the-scenes circumstances or manipulations. I look at JFK’s death, Marilyn Monoe’s exit as being two prime ones. However, I am adding Breitbart’s demise, rounding it out to a solid three, as being rather suspiciously timed.

  112. lisab says:

All the ones who invited me into their homes offered ice cream since they didn’t carry soda, tea or coffee. I rather liked that, I must say. Having the Mormon neighbour lady borrow my coffee, Coke and a bottle of wine only to witness her lecturing her kids in her backyard that they were “The Three Evils” was a bit much, however.
