Thompson, Hatch Lead GOP Primaries in WI and UT

Dan Jones and Associates did a poll of Republican delegates in Utah that will be picking the nominee for the US Senate and it shows Orrin Hatch should avoid the same fate as his prior fellow Senator Bob Bennett.

Orrin Hatch (inc) 62%
Dan Liljenquist 16%

This poll was done among 335 delegates. Some numbers I missed this morning from the PPP poll from Wisconsin that shows Tommy Thompson leading the Republican field in the race for the US Senate nomination.

Tommy Thompson 38%
Mark Neumann 25%
Jeff Fitzgerald 19%

This poll was done March 31-April 1 among 609 likely voters. PPP’s Twitter feed says they will start releasing new poll numbers for the US Senate race in Nevada tomorrow. They also seem to hint Obama will be leading the Presidential race.

Also coming out tomorrow at 6:30am is new Presidential primary numbers in Rick Santorum’s home state of Pennsylvania from Quinnipiac University.

At least 10X the crowds Romney the fake GOP candidate can muster

I wonder if Bunu will post the real number when the 10,000 don’t show up.

Ron Paul has the interesting ability to get people to support him but he never wins a primary or caucus.

  3. Bitterlaw says:

Thread rule – In honor of MD, recount your favorite MD post.

My favorite is when MD offered to satisfy Maxwell’s wife.

  4. Phil says:

So, Obama began his demagoguery against the Supreme Court today. Just like I called it. This POS is so easy to predict.

  5. MFG says:

Vast majority probably not even registered to vote

  6. Bitterlaw says:

I like Bunu calling Romney a fake Republican even though Ron Paul admits he only registers as a Republican so he can get ballot access in the GOP primaries and caucuses.

  7. Tim V says:

i am NOT a fatted calf.

  8. MD says:

When was the last time a POTUS (other than Barry) said anything remotely close to what he said today about the Supreme Court?

Also, from the last thread, Sohope is, by far, the most perverted evangelical I have ever encountered.

Please take that as a compliment Hope!

    I said no to that.

  10. Emerica says:

Paul was the only member to refuse congressional retirement and travel junkets, worked on a cash only basis in the private sector, refused federal student loans, and he votes no on everything.

Romney is the leader of Obamacare, torture, and the agreeing with the fake Iraq war.

    Their records are opposite.

  11. SoHope says:

    geee thanks, md

  12. SoHope says:

bunu, would you kindly go to the prior thread. Ron Paul is throwing a rally there and 10k posters are expected.

  13. SoHope says:

bunu, you are the leader of torture with every post you make.

  14. Bitterlaw says:

SoHope and DW are pretty wild. Just because they are Evangelical doesn’t mean they are not cool dudes.

  15. Bitterlaw says:

Isn’t it amazing that all that Federal money shows up year after year in the district of Ron Paul – an opponent of Federal spending?

  16. GF says:

13- You got POTD with the Massengil stuff already, but I’ll throw you a POTT (Post of the Thread) prematurely for that one.

Good night all; MD, good to have you back. Don’t let Scissors push you out.

  17. SoHope says:

Bunu, will you be volunteering at that Ron Paul rally? I hear they need vendors…

    “Peanuts…Popcorn…crackerjack… marijuana!”

There is no doubt in my mind that if the top PG of the NCAA would have not been injured against Creighton we would we playing tonight.

  26. SoHope says:

we played KU tight until the last 5 minutes with a walkon true freshman PG that averaged about 3 minutes a game.

ahhh what could have been. I will quit whinning. I don’t want to come off like bunu.

CBS to suck up to Obama at halftime.

    Barkley is breathless.

  31. SoHope says:

The talent difference is obvious in this game.

  32. SoHope says:

actually I don’t think that was a charge, but I’ll take it.

  33. MD says:

Kentucky is going to make this a very early night.

  34. MD says:

    Good night.

  35. MFG says:

Always feel bad for the team that loses this game

They will have won five straight playoff games and yet not be the champion, must be heartbreaking

  36. sickofdems says:

    Kentucky too good inside.

  37. jason says:

Kansas missed 8 of 9 shots. Hard to win that way.

  38. SoHope says:

There is one team in more pain right now than KU…see #25 & #26

  39. SoHope says:

FU…Obama I dont want your pity for UNC.

  40. MFG says:

Well 63 are miserable 1 will be ecstatic

Sports are very cruel like that

  41. SoHope says:

this halftime segment has made it an early night for me…why doesn’t he remind us that he had Bin Laden killed…I am outta here.

  42. Did they extend the halftime to make sure President Obama had enough time to speak?

  43. jason says:

Why don’t they interview Romney too? Doesn’t he like basketball?

  44. mnw says:

    “recount your favorite MD post”

Well, I can’t. As I recall, his posts have just been generally SOUND. I particularly bought into his posts when he experienced a workplace crisis, as everybody does sooner or later. His posts on the nature of “salesmanship” ring absolutely true, for me.

Also, I liked most of MD’s comments on economic issues; economic climate; & investment topics.

Plus, I recall MD’s comments on PA cong dist races in ’10, which were super-sound. I directed one of my own contributions (to Rep. Kelly in PA) based on MD’s analysis.

Questions? He’s OK & generally solid.

  45. jason says:

    Hello Dingleberry?

Open primary keeping Santorum competitive in Wisconsin. Down 50-36 with GOP, but up 37-32 with D’s/I’s

I refuse to eulogize MD before he is dead.

    Kansas making a run…

  48. MFG says:

    10-0 run…

  49. MFG says:

    KY choking???

  50. sickofdems says:

A little too late for Kansas…..

  51. MFG says:

They had some chances at the end there, but the SEC rules again…

  52. 39, it’s not pity, it’s sucking up for votes. He ain’t going to win Kentucky or Kansas.

  53. I see Drudge is alluding to what I predicted last week. Justice Kagan will tell President every step of the process. She must be asking for his help in changing a 5-4 decision going against their ACA act.

why is the hedghog sooo for Romney when yu all hated obama last time around? deblov? is his arse still around. remember his predictions. I’ll start early this time. Obama walks away AND has coat tails that haven’t been seen in a second term for at least two generations.

  57. Bitterlaw says:

It didn’t bother me when Obama was on at halftime. It would not have bothered me if GWB had done it, either. Let Obama talk sports all day. He can’t harm the country discussing basketball.

  58. Tim says:

“coat tails”? Not sure about that. So far, I don’t see any evidence that is true……..

  59. Tim says:

He’s not the President. Also, the last sports question he was asked (about NASCAR) didn’t work out so well……..

  60. Tim says:

    MD was here?

  61. Bitterlaw says:

NASCAR is not a sport. Don’t spread that lie.

    MD returned yesterday.
