As a life-long Washington Capitals fan who has seen many a playoff disappointment, last night may have been the most demoralizing end to a hockey game I have ever seen, including the three-overtime loss that I attended last week. I guess my life-long dream of watching the Stanley Cup carried down Constitution Avenue may have to wait yet another year….
Be prepared for these new polls from Public Policy Polling for the states of Iowa and Ohio, at least according to the glee on their Twitter page last night.
Going to have President numbers in Iowa and Ohio tomorrow…Obama looking pretty good in both.

Little-known Obama challenger could get delegate

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Usually, it takes a majority of votes to win an election, but part of one contest today could hinge on whether the challenger can get 15 percent of the vote.
Under state and national Democratic Party rules, if little-known Democratic presidential candidate Keith Judd secures 15 percent of the vote in today’s election, he will technically be entitled to have at least one delegate from West Virginia at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C.
Which could be problematic, since Judd is also known as Inmate No. 11593-051 at the Federal Correctional Institution in Texarkana, Texas, where he is serving a 210-month sentence for extortion.

Just a few reminders before the PPP(D) poll for IA is released. The last poll of IA was mid-february by DesMoines Register. They had it 46/44 for Romney. Nothing has changed since then, other than Romney locking up the nomination and thereby getting a modest bump.
Four years ago also in February, DesMoines Register had IA shown to be 53/36 in favor of Obama over McCain.
So whatever PPP(D) says, take it in light of this DesMoines Register poll.
What I meant to say is that the IA DesMoines Register was the last newspaper driven poll. Paladin/CFP released a poll of IA yesterday showing Romney up 47/44.

Romney has had 5-6 point leads in the RAS daily tracking poll a few times over the past couple of months, but it always slowly wiggles back to a tie or an Obama 2-3 point lead. I think this time last week Obama led 47-44. When you consider MOE, it shows that Romney is about tied or maybe slightly ahead with about 5-8 percent undecided. He’s very likely to take a majority of those votes.

That’s how people are receiving your message. You should stress your sinfulness and the forgiveness you received from God because of what Christ did for you. That you are not any better than anyone else, but just better off, again, to the credit of what Christ did. Yes, there is coming judgment, but why not also share the beauty of Christ as well?As it is, you seem to be driving people away rather than drawing them in.

Once the NT was complete, which happened at the same time the apostles all died off, then there was no more need for these apostolic gifts of the Holy Spirit. Now certainly people have natural gifts and abilities, but that is different. The gift of “prophecy” has ceased because we have the fully sufficient Scriptures available to us. We do not need any other words from God.

We had DE and CO in 2010, not sure about NV. Harry Reid would have finishied strong against any republican.
