Trump Leads Winfrey by 27% in Louisiana

Well if Oprah Winfrey jumps in and faces off against Donald Trump, Trup will at least win the state of Louisiana according to a new poll from the University of New Orleans.

PRESIDENT – LOUISIANA (UNO)
Donald Trump (R-inc) 60%
Oprah Winfrey (D) 33%

This poll was done January 11th among 722 registered voters. That is actually better than the 58% Trump got against Hillary Clinton in 2016.

no doubt the dems are nationalizing every election against trump and they are voting. Many republicans are like me. I dislike trump and his behavior at times astounds me. However, I like his policies. I will definitely vote for him again. However, he has not done much to make very enthusiastic about donating money, volunteering voting in elections where i would not even know who is running.

  4. Wobbles says:

    Trash it.

That is only in the bayou. In downtown New Orleans Oprah is way ahead.

  5. Wobbles says:

Oprah will carry Utah, Idaho and Indiana just like Hillary did.

    Uh, should have.

  6. jason says:

Yeah, Hugh, and then there are people like me who didn’t vote for him because they didn’t think he was fit for office.

So far, he certainly seems fit for office.

  7. Robbie says:

I understand and have been shouting it from the mountain top for months now. There’s a terrible reckoning coming in November, but MAGA!

There is little doubt in my mind that if the GA-6 special were held now, as opposed to back in June of 2017, Jon Ossoff would have won.

Not enough ppl seem to grasp how much the GOP’s position is deteriorating over time, as a function of Trump’s continued humiliations.

  8. Waingro says:

I think DW cited in previous thread, but here is link to Econ/Yougov CGB poll showing it only D+6. PID is D+11(!), so this is very good number for GOP all things considered.

#7, Robbie, Jeff B. is a HUGE righty concern troll on elections. He is by no means someone who should be relied upon for his frequent hyperbolic “DOOM!” statements when it comes to the GOP’s fate.

  10. Robbie says:

I see the lying sack of crap fraud Jason is doing what comes naturally to him, being a lying sack of crap fraud. That should surprise no one, though. As soon as Trump won, he forgot all the bad things he said about porn star screwing Trump and started supporting him. And to prove Jason’s lying sack of crap fraud performance isn’t just Trump related, Jason did the same thing with child molesting pervert good ole Roy Moore. He supported a guy he said was a scumbag simply because good ole Roy had a R next to his name.

    – What about the loss in the Wisconsin special senate race last night? Even Scott Walker had to take to Twitter to note it was a bad signal. What about the clear depression in the voting patterns in the four hotly contested special elections last year? What about Trump’s approval rating (which has climbed recently) that set a record for the worst standing after a first year? What about the performance of Republicans in Virginia this past November? Few thought the house there would flip and Republicans had to survive the flip of a coin just to keep a one seat lead.

I’m not directing this comment at you, but are we going to spend the next 10 months looking for reasons to disregard analysts who say something not favorable to Republicans? For goodness sakes, Cathy McMorris Rogers seat was just moved from safe to likely.

  12. mnw says:

So Blue Wave will “clearly”* show up in the PA-18 special in March, then? We SO value troll predictions.

    * “clearly” is Wobbles’ favwit word. Even better than LOL !!!

  13. Sheeple, Jr. says:

In new POLITICO Poll,The Donald’s approval/disapproval is 45/50,respectively. In fact, 16% of Democrats approve and only 15% of Republicans disapprove.

  15. Paul says:

Yes, mnw, if the Republicans win in PA-18, it will be a sure sign that Republicans will pick up seats nationwide in November. 🙂

In PA-18 which Trump won by 20 points and Romney won by 16 points.

  16. Proud Obamacon says:

The good guys are winning! Good over Evil!

  17. Proud Obamacon says:

PA-18 target would be a 15 point swing. So that would mean a 5 point loss for us. Would love the win, but I will be satisfied with a 5 point loss.

A 15 point swing is ok and I will take it in November too!

  18. mnw says:

You trolls are easily satisfied, then!

So holding 3 of 4 state seats last night? Means nothing.

    Losing PA-18? Means nothing.

Flipping one open state seat last night? Blue wave!!… uh, altho not so much in PA-18.

  19. Robbie says:

I’m really looking forward to Jerry Falwell Jr. saying this just proves that Trump is a good Christian man who did what every man wants to do.

    – Tote that water, Trump shill. Ignore the news at your own risk. When Republicans won seats like this in 2009 and early 2010, we all agreed it foreshadowed big Republican wins in 2010.

  21. Proud Obamacon says:

Actually, um yeah it means nothing! Please continue to keep your head buried up your orange boy’s @ss.

It would be a travesty if the Repugs actually figured out that 15 point swings towards the good guys actually mean something!

Nothing to see here. Yall won, we lost, boo hoo.
