this poll cannot make the dems happy

they assume nevada is blue, not a battleground

  3. Tgca says:

    Tres Bebe! Tres!

  4. janz says:

IMO, the only half way sane dem candidates on the above list are Pete Buttigieg & Tulsi Gabbard. A big part of their resume I think is their military experience and not always mimicking the democrat herd.

  5. lisab says:

heh heh … you said butt

  6. Tina says:

Wow, trump is ahead of many ds in Nv?

    This is a pick up.

I am not convinced the drats get back Michigan.

  7. Tina says:

Gabbard, to her credit,is one of the few drats saying to give up on the collusion hoax.

  8. janz says:

Tina, that admission is what sets her apart from the dem loonecy saturating the current 2020 crop of candidates.

One of the nice things about London is that because of England’s gun control laws you can walk the streets safely. Oh, wait.

“Over a period of nearly 10 hours, the woman and three men were approached from behind and knifed in the back as they walked alone in Edmonton.

The victims appeared to have been selected randomly, police said. Two are in a critical condition.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

The first suspect was detained just before 11:00 BST in Fore Street, Edmonton, with police saying that inquiries were continuing to establish if he is the person behind the stabbings.

The second man, aged in his 40s, was arrested later on Sunday at a residential address in Edmonton. Both men remain in police custody.

The Metropolitan Police said the motive “appears to be solely to inflict harm” as none of the victims was robbed and had not engaged in conversation before being attacked.”

they need common sense knife control

  11. SanDiegoCitizen says:

Its not just women who have been made to feel uncomfortable by Biden; it is also male law enforcement officers. If Biden becomes president, the Secret Service will need to establish a “safe space” at the White House.

  12. Bitterlaw says:

In England, random murders are very personal. That is why they use knives. Our school shooters are very disappointing in that regard. Just killing 15-20 children with no sense of artistry or commitment.

  13. lisab says:

although it does seem like the mueller report has backfired on the dems

and trump is showing strength in michigan

there is still a long time to go.

but biden has certainly been wounded in the short-run

  14. lisab says:

trump is kinda like ghenghis khan

    well, not like ghengis khan

    but just like ghenghis khan.

remember, ghenghis khan was not ghenghis khan until he was.

so if you guys want to support someone like trump who wants to destroy china, go ahead,

    but you are all anti-asians

and i think it would be better if you wrote in flake,

because i want the democrat to win, although i won’t personally vote for the dem … 🙂

According to AOC, Congress amended the Constitution to prevent FDR from being re-elected:

“They had to amend the Constitution of the United States to make sure Roosevelt dd not get reelected.”

  17. Chicon says:

AOC is a sharp one, eh?

  19. Wes says:

    Let’s see…

Roosevelt died early in his fourth term in 1945.

In 1947, Congress began work on the 22nd Amendment, intended to limit the President to at most 2 1/2 terms (10 years) in office.

The 22nd Amendment was finally ratified in 1951–a full six years after Roosevelt died.

AOC may be slightly off in her timeline and analysis.

The Emerson poll at the top of this thread about NV is an RV…if that matters…

Watching American Idol..(I call the show the “:Show of Crushed Dreams). They are selecting the top 20.
Do any of the failed contestants then go do themselves in? The judges cut some of the ones Cow said belonged in the top 20. I MOO’ed loudly in disapproval (But I still think Katie Perry is hot st.uff–I like her jugs).

  24. Bitterlaw says:

Phillies sweep the Braves to start the season 3-0. Unfortunately, Bryce Harper only has 2 home runs in 3 games so might be a bust.

I hated Harper when he was with the Nationals. I like him now. Funny how that works.

  25. Cash Cow TM says:

    Harper is a good dude.
If you meet him Mr. Bitter, tell him not to try to pull the ball to right so much, but go with the pitch. If it is on outside of the plate, then take it to left. The shift the opposing teams put on Harper last year is redickolous. Three infielders between 1st and 2nd base.

  26. SanDiegoCitizen says:

A must read article by Victor Davis Hanson on the Mueller investigation:

“The mainstream-network, MSNBC, and CNN prophesies of impeachment hearings driven by Russian “collusion” had, as planned, driven down Trump’s polls. Between 2017 and 2019, Mueller’s supposed prelude to impeachment caused defections among a once-solid Republican House and Senate and thereby stalled initiatives, thwarting efforts to curb illegal immigration, repeal Obamacare, quickly confirm judicial nominees and executive appointees, and preserve diplomatic leverage abroad.
Without the Mueller investigation and enablers such as Representative Adam Schiff (who had falsely insisted to the media that the dossier was not integral to a pre-election FISA application and had not launched the FBI investigation before the election), and without the MSBNC/CNN punditry, all the serial conspiratorial talk of invoking the 25th Amendment and the emoluments clause, as well as the comical McCabe-Rosenstein palace coup and the efforts of the “resistance” to thwart Trump’s administration from the inside, as outlined in the Sept. 5, 2018, anonymous New York Times op-ed, would probably have been written off immediately as short-lived psychodramas. Instead, they were all sensationalized by a 90-percent-biased media as the prefaces to the Mueller “bombshell” to come.
In the end, Mueller’s investigation really did prove to be a witch hunt, just as half the country came to conclude. It has probably forever ended the idea that a special prosecutor can be useful or fair. It has curtailed foreign-policy options and prevented the traditional American realist approach to Russia as a triangulating counterweight to China. It ruined the lives of innocents such as Carter Page and the reputations of dozens of others such as General Michael Flynn. It divided the country in its transparent violation of any sense of disinterested investigation and turned the idea of American jurisprudence into a version of the Soviets’ “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.” And now that it is over, we should not forget what it wrought and those who empowered it.”

More record breaking cold; this time in Hawaii.

“Snow falls in Hawaii a few times a year in winter on the state’s highest peak, Mauna Kea rising 13,803 elevation in feet, but the white stuff is rarely seen at elevations below 9,000 feet to 10,000 feet.
On Sunday, Maui’s 10,ooo-foot Haleakala received a thick dusting and snow also accumulated at 6,200 feet in Polipoli State Recreation Area.
Officials at the Department of Land and Natural Resources say this could mark the lowest-elevation snowfall ever recorded in the state.”

  28. lisab says:

this past two weeks has been disasterous for the dems

    mueller is a bust

msnbc and cnn ratings way down as a result

trump had a huge rally in michigan

    biden taking a huge hit

EXPECT a counterpunch from the dems soon.

a.) they get it together and punch trump

    or

b.) the dem candidates decide to take out biden

the lack of reaction by the dems so far is, imo, because the dems are NOT united, and the various candidates are out for themselves rather than focusing on trump

I was stuck at an airport yesterday.

CNN bashed Trump for 3 hours straight but then had a banner about Biden accusations for about 1/2 hour, including a long interview with Lucy Flores.

Then they showed about 20 creepy videos and pictures of Biden.

  35. DW says:

“I was stuck at an airport yesterday.”

We used to say that this is the only place people watch CNN. But the last time I was at an airport, for every 200 people in a waiting area, 195 were looking at their mobile devices, 4 were chatting among themselves, and 1 was watching CNN.

  36. jason says:

“They had to amend the Constitution of the United States to make sure Roosevelt dd not get reelected.”

You don’t want to take chances, it wouldn’t be the first time someone was resurrected.

  37. jason says:

Yeah, nobody was watching the Trump bashing, but maybe 10% did look up at the Biden videos.

At least where I was, they mercifully had the sound turned off.

  38. Sheeple, Jr. says:

    Wes #31
So a smart fellow like you fell for a RRH April Fools’ Day prank!

Last year, RRh’s April Fools’ Day joke was to report that then Ohio GOP Governor, John Kasich, had re-registered as a Democrat.

  39. jason says:

Now that at least 2 Dem candidates have come out attacking Biden, as I had predicted, it is sure to come up in the Dem debates.

Let’s see if my prediction that Biden is the Jeb Bush of the Democrats holds up.

Meanwhile, Corey mocked me for my prediction Buttigieg will be the Dem nominee, but he is steadily rising and CNN gave him special coverage yesterday also.

They had his campaign manager on and were asking softball questions like why do you think your candidate is become so popular.

  40. DW says:

AOC’s Roosevelt gaffe doesn’t have the same visual punch as saying Guam could flip over, or thinking NASA has sent astronauts to Mars, or even telling a wheel-chair bound man to stand up. But at least each of those examples were situations where the politician stepped out of the arena of politics.

Saying what AOC did about Roosevelt is like a baseball player drawing a walk but then trotting to third base instead of first.

  41. mnw says:

    RE: airports & CNN

I avoid taking my kids to the Mickey D’s near my house because they’ve got CNN on 24/7. I don’t know whether this is nationwide or not…but I suspect it is. They’ve got it so that it’s inescapable, too– like the loudspeakers in 1984. There is nowhere to sit in the restaurant where you can avoid it.

There’s a lot of good economic news today, btw.

  42. Phil says:

The timing of the Biden attacks is orchestrated to keep Biden out of the race.

The far left candidates are zeroing in on Joe. Same forces that came out of the woodwork to get Kavanaugh are now being marshaled against Biden.

I still think Kamala is the favorite although The MSM has now decided to try and push Beto. He now has a shot although Mayor Pete will cut into his numbers as “the fresh new face”.

  47. jason says:

wes’ theory that in the end the Dems will not nominate commit suicide by nominating a raving moonbat may actually happen, but it might be Buttigieg, not Biden.

  48. DW says:

The Drats now have 18 running. This is more than the GOP’s 17 in 2016 at the high-water mark. No doubt some of these 18 clowns will drop out long before Iowa in 2020, but 18 this early means others are yet to join. I guess the days are gone when a party has enough discipline to have two or three big names, two or three also-rans, and are done with it.

  51. DW says:

  59. jason says:

The Dems cannot afford to just get up on stage and compete as to who will redistribute more of someone else’s money.

They will have to narrow the field and the only way to do that is take each other out.

  60. Wes says:

    Damnit!

Hickenlooper is dropping out of the presidential primary and will announce a challenge to Gardner on Friday.

I guess polling with near asterisk-level support will do that.

He now probably clears the field and goes into the race against Gardner as a moderate favorite.

    ??

  61. GF says:

Wes, I’m guessing that’s an April Fools gag? The allegedly wise men have said nothing of it, and there are no news banners dropping in my feeds.

  62. CG says:

    Gardner just announced his retirement.

  63. Wes says:

Correct, GF. I had to make it believable though.
