Biden Regains Domination of Dem Field Nationally

Quinnipiac University has released a new national poll that shows what most other polls of late have shown, Joe Biden regaining his footing among Democrats and Kamala Harris and Bernie Sanders moving backwards.

Joe Biden 34%
Elizabeth Warren 15%
Kamala Harris 12$
Bernie Sanders 11%
Pete Buttigieg 6%
Beto O’Rourke 2%
Everyone Else 1% or less

This poll was done July 25-28 among 579 registered primary voters.

    In the new Quack Quack Quinnipiac Poll, Trump’s approval/ disapproval with Lations is 40/50, respectively. (See Question 7). Not bad!

  4. SanDiegoCitizen says:

    In California a candidate needs to get at least 15% of the vote to obtain delegates under the proportional allotment. If the California primary results were like the (national) Quinnipiac poll results above, a lot of candidates will not get any of California’s 495 delegates.

  5. SanDiegoCitizen says:

    4. At this point, it may be that only Biden, Warren, Harris and Sanders get above the 15% threshold in California. It could doom Buttigieg’s campaign; he needs to pick up delegates in California to have any chance of getting the nomination.

  6. janz says:

    I would truly be surprised if the Quinnipiac Poll ever showed a decent polling number for DJT!

  7. Phil says:

    What? No delegates for Beto in California? How about if doubles down on his white privilege apology tour, and says he’s REALLY REALLY REALLY sorry for being white?

  8. SanDiegoCitizen says:

    8. Not good enough. He needs to be REALLLLLLLLLLLLYYY sorry!!!

  9. jason says:

    Dang, I am moving up, now tied with over half the field.

    Beto needs to declare himself an Ecosexual, and have a ceremony where he marries the sea, like this one:

    “The text of this resolution, sponsored by Joe Scarborough, was introduced 03/08/2000.

    Whereas the Congress strongly rejects the racist and incendiary actions of the Reverend Al Sharpton;

    Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton has referred to members of the Jewish faith as “bloodsucking [J]ews”, and “Jew bastards”;

    Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton has referred to members of the Jewish faith as “white interlopers” and “diamond merchants”;

    Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton was found guilty of defamation by a jury in a New York court arising from the false accusation that former Assistant District Attorney Steven Pagones, who is white, raped and assaulted a fifteen year-old black girl;

    Whereas, to this day, the Reverend Al Sharpton has refused to accept responsibility and expresses no regret for defaming Mr. Pagones;

    Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton’s vicious verbal anti-Semitic attacks directed at members of the Jewish faith, and in particular, a Jewish landlord, arising from a simple landlord-tenant dispute with a black tenant, incited widespread violence, riots, and the murder of five innocent people;

    Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton’s fierce demagoguery incited violence, riots, and murder in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, New York, following the accidental death of a black pedestrian child hit by the motorcade of Orthodox Rabbi Menachem Schneerson;

    Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton led a protest in the Crown Heights neighborhood and marched next to a protester with a sign that read, “The White Man is the Devil”;

    Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton has insulted members of the Jewish faith by challenging Jews to violence and stating to Jews to “pin down” their yarmulkes; and

    Whereas the Reverend Al Sharpton has practiced the politics of racial division and made inflammatory remarks against whites by characterizing the death
    of Amadou Diallo as a “racially motivated police `assassination”:

    Now, therefore, be it Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That the Congress–

    (1) condemns the practices of the Reverend Al Sharpton, which seek to divide Americans on the basis of race, ethnicity, and religion;

    (2) expresses its outrage over the violence that has resulted due to the Reverend Al Sharpton’s incendiary words and actions; and

    (3) fervently urges elected officials and public servants, who have condoned and legitimized the Reverend Al Sharpton’s incendiary words and actions, to publicly denounce and condemn such racist and anti-Semitic views”

    I wonder if this might negatively affect the Dems’ attempts to hold the House:

  20. Todd McCain says:

    Biden has definitely regained his momentum from the debate but I am still not convinced of his longevity in the dem primary; he’s too old and his senate record is too long with unpopular votes in today’s progressive dem base.

  21. jason says:

    Hey Dems, don”t listen to this DINO.

    “Rahm Emanuel to 2020 Democrats: You ‘Closed the Door on Swing Voters

    “There’s a reason Trump gleefully tweeted ‘That’s the end of that race!’ during the first debate: Too often, you succumbed to chasing plaudits on Twitter, which closed the door on swing voters in Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ohio,” Emanuel wrote in an op-ed published Monday on Medium.

    If you win the nomination in a way that forecloses a path to victory in the general election, we will lose, and your name will go down in infamy,” he wrote, saying that he hopes the candidates could take that message to heart in the Detroit debates this week.

    Before our party promises health care coverage to undocumented immigrants — a position not even Ted Kennedy took — let’s help the more than 30 million Americans who are a single illness away from financial ruin,” he wrote.”

    Yahoo headline:

    “Trump renews attack on black senator Elijah Cummings and says he should ‘investigate himself’”

    MSM promotes Cummings to senator…

    Because they can.

    Well, not if the their deadenders are anything like our deadenders.

    NYC, for one, would be here saying “we lost, but we sent a heck of a message”.

  24. Sheeple, Jr. says:

    Good news for the President in this just-released Emerson College National Poll. Trump’s approval/ disapproval is 45/46, respectively and he is statistically tied with Sleepy Joe and Comrade Bernie.
    This poll will offset the Quack-Quack Quinnipiac Poll from yesterday.

  25. Phil says:

    Sharpton accuses Trump of playing the race card.

    Sharpton accusing others of race baiting is about the most hilarious thing I can think of.
