Notice a pattern Dems call Mueller, Mueller falls apart. Dems attack Kavanaugh, but victim doesn’t remember. Dems accuse @realDonaldTrump of threatening Ukraine with holding back money, but he didn’t. Biden did . “When first you practice to deceive…” more traps ahead.

  4. Tina says:

    More Traps.

  5. SanDiegoCitizen says:

Here is the ABC news story about Hunter Biden and his contract with the Ukrainian energy firm. There was also questionable dealings involving a Chinese firm as well. Hunter Biden’s activities resemble those of the Clinton Foundation in many ways.

  6. Sheeple, Jr. says:

The Ukraine whisleblower matter gets sleazier by the day. This Susan Ferrchio article shows that the Democrats had knowledge of the whistleblower complaint PRIOR to notification from the IG.
Of course, in the middle of all of this is Mr. Pencilneck, Little Adam Schiff.
My take based on the timeline is a set-up between the Congressional Democrats and the whistleblower and I have not ruled out the IG as a bad actor in this story.

  7. Hugh says:

Schitt for brains exhausts me. I hope at some point our side gets some justice.

  8. Tina says:

There is no whistleblower. The person has to have witnessed it within a department. Not overheard it from Joe Leaker.

Moreover, the protections apply within an agency.

It does not apply to a President.

If the person has concerns with the presidents acrions, he one she could elect to run for office.

I guess Antonio Brown is following the Aaron Hernandez guidebook on how to throw away 40 million dollars.

    Fewer points?

  14. John says:

Or not enough points. I guess 9 td passes today doesn’t quite hold up like 9 td passes did before.

  15. jason says:

On December 13, 1983 the Denver Nuggets scored 184 points at home against the Pistons.

    Yeah, they still lost, 186-184.

Trump CONFIRMS @wsj report that he discussed Biden w/the Ukrainian president in their July call. Says their conversation was largely congratulatory” and “largely the fact that we don’t want our people like VP Biden and his son creating to the corruption already in the Ukraine.”

    – Jason fraud and the other Trump shills when this story first broke: This is just more fake news. Trump isn’t stupid enough to abuse his presidential power in such a brazen way. This is just another witch hunt.

Jason fraud and the other Trump shills after Trump admits he attempted to coerce the president of a foreign power to investigate his political rival: What’s the big deal? This is an awesome move by Trump. It would have been impeachable if Obama or Hillary did it, but the rules are different when Trump puts a R after his name.

  18. lisab says:

lets do a thought experiment …

imagine vp biden and his son get caught shaking down a foreign country for a bribe

how will the dem trolls try to blame trump?

    oh wait …

  19. SanDiegoCitizen says:

    19. Trump had every right to suggest to the Ukrainians that they investigate the highly questionable conduct of Hunter Biden. The claim that a president has to keep quiet about the corrupt conduct of a former vice president’s family is absurd. Is there something to hide here?

  20. lisab says:

it is just a lot easier to be morally indignant

when the vice president is not on camera bragging about bullying ukraine

  21. SanDiegoCitizen says:

Trump’s job approval rating in the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll is 45%, which is also his RCP average.

  22. SanDiegoCitizen says:

“when the vice president is not on camera bragging about bullying ukraine”

The Ukraine just didn’t understand that Hunter Biden deserved the $50,000 monthly payment for being on the board of its natural gas company, despite knowing nothing about the industry, and having a crack cocaine habit.

The Never Trumpers and Democrats would get a lot more mileage out of these “scandals” if Robbie’s media pals hadn’t whiffed on one hit job after another for the last three years……but yeah, Robbie, this is really, really, really, really, really, really, really really, really, really, really, really, really, really, the one that does Trump in. Just like was each of the hundred collusion stories, porn star stories, and all the other weeklyTrump hit pieces you breathlessly ran over here with on a weekly basis was going to be “the one”. When the NYT Washington Post, CNN, NBC, etc make fools out of themselves on a daily basis by either just making crap up or continually over sensationalizing anything anti Trump they can get their grubby mitts on, you can forgive the electorate for not just automatically swallowing whole this or any other Trump “scandal”. That’s what happens when the MSM shreds their credibility for a full three years making a mockery of journalism. It hasn’t helped that it’s just been a week since the NYT got caught in a blatant effort to smear a sitting SC Justice. People aren’t stupid. They know the MSM has an agenda – So do you but the difference is you just don’t care. For you, the end absolutely justifies the means.

  29. Hugh says:

    18. Did you read what u posted what coercion? This will blow up big-time on Biden. Why pay 600k a year for a no nothing coke addict to be a board member of a traded company? It may not be illegal but any idiot knows what it’s about.

  30. Bitterlaw says:

Robbie is right that HHR would have howled if Obama did what Trump is alleged to have done.

SDC is right that Trump could do what he allegedly did.

When do the jebots commence their smears on IG, Michael Horowitz?

  33. dblaikie says:

It seems to me that this whistleblower stuff is taking surprising turns. With the media the way they are, there is no way they would have ever investigated Uncle Joe over the Ukraine. I am not a conspiracy person, but it just appears that the upshot of this stuff is that Trump didn’t really do anything impeachable with the President’s Article 2 powers, and in the end it is going to hurt Biden and make the dems look even more like the keystone cops. Who knows maybe this whole thing has been engineered not by Schiff but instead by Trump.

  34. NYCmike says:

    What did Trump do?

    I haven’t followed much.

Did Trump deny doing whatever it is that Robbie is yapping about?

  35. Hugh says:

What a joke? Trump wants a coke addict investigated whose dad was acting vp. It appears he offered nothing to Ukrainians. It’s pretty clear Ukrainians worked overtime for Hillary. Her foundation received more money from Ukraine than any other country. That is a country that is broke. So I guess who cares if it’s the Dems. So faceless career bureaucrats can spend all there energy and Intel to bring someone down and half the people here seem ok with it. I hope one day all of those people have the gov crawling up there hind ends and while they take partial info to try and destroy you. I’ve dealt with regulators they are self righteous unaccountable inept jerks with unlimited resources. I hope you get a taste of what it is like. I hope they start with Robbie.

  36. SanDiegoCitizen says:

    34. “Who knows maybe this whole thing has been engineered not by Schiff but instead by Trump.”

Over the last several weeks, the Trump campaign has been attacking Biden. They issued a video of his gaffes. Trump has been trying to get the press to focus on Hunter Biden’s questionable activities in the Ukraine for some time. Suddenly they are on the front page, because of an anonymous “whistle blower” who the press though would destroy Trump. The liberal press was just had.

  40. SanDiegoCitizen says:

The question now is will any of the Democratic candidates attempt a knock-out blow on Biden in the October debate, by bringing up the Hunter Biden issue? And if they do, will the other candidates join in like a band of hungry hyenas?

If Biden was knocked out of the race, who would the more moderate Democrats support, a candidate already running or will they try and get a new candidate to run?

  41. jason says:

Does Amoral Scumbag actually think a private conversation by Obama or Hillary with a foreign leader would have seen the light of day in the MSM?

  43. jason says:

    Coercion is the new collusion.

  44. Bitterlaw says:

The Eagles gave the Lions 13 points and lost by 3. I know that blaming referees is for losers but the Eagles were called for offensive pass interference 4 times today. Refs almost never called it in the past. If they did, Michael Irvin would not be in the HOF.

The good news is that I found a good suicide method that could look natural or like an accident. The bad news is that if it failed, I could end in a coma. I will shelve that one.

  45. lisab says:

Does Amoral Scumbag actually think a private conversation by Obama or Hillary with a foreign leader would have seen the light of day in the MSM?

well … obama did tell the russians he would have more flexibility to give them stuff after the election on a hot mic

but no, he did not get impeached for it

  46. jason says:

I didn’t see the game, but I read where the Eagles dropped 7 passes.

Last week there were a couple dropped passes too. So either the receivers suck or Wentz is putting too much english on the ball.

  47. Bitterlaw says:

Their 2 best receivers were out due to injuries. Wentz put the ball right in their hands. Apparently, that is not enough.

  48. jason says:

  62. Bitterlaw says:

I violated my company’s rule to donate to Romney in 2012. Glad I did. He will probably not run in 2024 but I would vote for him if he does.

  63. Hugh says:

Bitter. We are in a fight to the death. I suspect the conservative team will lose. However supporting Utah conservative values will get crushed if trump does not win in 2020. Romney is naive in my view. Great guy probably but out of touch.

I do regret supporting him for the Senate.

And btw, he doesn’t “call out Trump when he sees fit”. That is what I do.

He is just an MSM toadie who wants to be loved by those that destroyed his candidacy in 2012. Truly despicable.

  67. jason says:

    Romney represents Utah, not Trump.”

Then he is not doing a very good job.

I doubt the interests of the people of Utah coincide with the interests of the MSM.

Hopefully they will get rid of him at the first opportunity.

    67. Another Republican hoax…

    62. Remember the Y2K bug that threatened the world back in the ’90s? Well, they fixed it and when the time came it didn’t happen. Thousands said: “What was all the fuss about? People laughed and laughed at the “chicken littles” for being so dumb and panicking for no reason. But the “chicken littles” were right. Responding in advance will ameliorate possible disasters.

Take a look at one of the thing’s Cash Cow is laughing at:

    >i>2006: Super Hurricanes!

The number of Catagory five hurricanes have increased substantially, that is while the total number of hurricanes/typhoons/Tropical cyclones remains constant, the number per year has gone from one or two to about 50%.

So yeah, while some of the predictions are rather silly, about quite a few did come to pass.

  72. Messy says:

    62. As to peak oil:

Nice priorities you and your ilk have!

How goes the job search? I hope well.

IMHO, I think that jason’s and Romney’s motives for criticism of our President are vastly different.
Like myself, jason’s criticisms are based on policy differences an, at times, Trump’s boorish character.
On the other hand, Romney’s are based on spite and vengence and the elitist thought, “How could the USA electorate elect as President a low-life like Trump and not a polished gentleman like me?!”

  78. Sheeple, Jr. says:

Here is the just-released Economist 3 Day Tracking Poll thru yesterday which shows that Trump’s approval/ disapproval rating has remined unchanged for the past week despite the kerfuffles over Kavanaugh, Lewandowski and
    the whistleblower”.
It appears that the Democrats’ and medias’ oversaturation of Orange Man Bad hysteria has made the eloctorate numb toward new news in this vain.

  79. Bitterlaw says:

Spite and vengeance are 2 of my favorite qualities.

  80. lisab says:

The number of Catagory five hurricanes have increased substantially

there is no strong evidence for this. in fact, the average cat 5 storm is only a cat 5 storm for a few hours, and in the past it was not possible to constantly measure wind speeds of hurricanes at sea until fairly recently.

that is, in the past a hurricane could have been cat 5 and no one knew about it.

in fact, prior to 1900 they do not even know precisely how many hurricanes there were.

texas oil production 2012 533,141 (Mbbl)

texas oil production 2016 974,612 (Mbbl)

texas oil production 2018 1,274,569 (Mbbl)

  82. lisab says:

texas oil production increased until 1972 and steadily declined until 2008

when new technologies and oil fields started to increase production

2018 was the highest oil production in texas in history

  83. lisab says:

and … since we have immense coal deposits

which can be changed into oil at about $40/barrel

we easily have enough oil for more than a century

  84. dblaikie says:

Add to that the huge deposits of natural gas and you can add centuries more.

What cracks me up about these climate protests is that these loons want want to have zero carbon emissions by 2025 to 2030 alla OAC. Firstly unless we had a massive program to go nuclear (I wouldn’t object) this is a pipe dream whose only result would be to destroy our energy capabilities and terribly cripple us as a nation. Secondly they never mention China or India! China would love to see us destroy our capability to produce energy!

These kids out protesting are pathetic. Actually I feel sorry for them because they have been fed nothing but propaganda from kindergarten on. Moreover basic critical thinking is now ignored in our schools at the alter of only teaching to a test and allowing only one ideology. So if you ask them about China, or wonder about Obama buying Ocean front property that they think will be under water in a few years, or put in front of their faces the wrong predictions of science concerning the climate in the last 30 years, all you will get in return will be angry profanity that you are nothing but a deplorable denier.

  85. dblaikie says:

Here are the facts about which countries dump the most carbon:

On pure emissions alone, the key points are:

    • China emits more CO2 than the US and Canada put together – up by 171% since the year 2000
    • The US has had declining CO2 for two years running, the last time the US had declining CO2 for 3 years running was in the 1980s
    • The UK is down one place to tenth on the list, 8% on the year. The country is now behind Iran, South Korea, Japan and Germany
    • India is now the world’s third biggest emitter of CO2 – pushing Russia into fourth place

This is from the Guardian who cite the respected, Energy Information Administration. Go ahead take this to a convert to the new Religion of Climate Change and see what they say?

  90. SanDiegoCitizen says:

    74. “Had it not been for fracking in North Dakota, we’d have run out of oil long ago. Peak oil in Texas was in the 1960s,”

This is an idiotic statement. Yes, if we had stopped oil drilling, oil production would have gone down. But the Peak Oil Theory, that we would run out of oil (which Obama believed) turned out to be totally bogus. And Texas oil production in the Permian basin is booming:

“On the supply side, global oil production grew by 2.2 Mb/d in 2018, outstripping demand by nearly 0.8 Mb/d. The United States alone accounted for almost all of this growth, posting an increase in oil production of 2.18 Mb/d in 2018 – the largest single-year production increase by any country ever.

The IEA predicts that by 2021 the U.S. will be a net oil exporter, ending 75 years of import dependence and further solidifying the United States’ role as a leading producer in the global oil market. By 2023, the IEA projects the U.S. will overtake Russia in gross oil exports, closing in on Saudi Arabia as the global leader in exports by 2024. What was not mentioned in the presentations, however, is that the United States will still be a gross importer of oil for its refineries due to locational and quality issues.

“The second wave of the U.S. shale revolution is coming,” IEA Executive Director Fatih Birol said in a statement. “It will see the United States account for 70 percent of the rise in global oil production and some 75 percent of the expansion in LNG trade over the next five years. This will shake up international oil and gas trade flows, with profound implications for the geopolitics of energy.”

Pulling ahead of Russia and Saudi Arabia in exports would further erode their influence in the oil market.”

While the former vice president has claimed he and his son never discussed Hunter’s business, Hunter told The New Yorker that they did talk about it once, with Joe Biden telling his son, “I hope you know what you are doing.””

the thing about oil production is that the leftists — and yes i will call them leftists, they certainly are not liberals — try to manipulate the narrative

This only goes to show you how far the left will go to gain power, because that is all this is about. Power, control over sectors of the economy and redistribution of wealth to those who will continue to support them (because they are getting money from others).

Business evolves, and it always will. Business is much more environmentally friendly than it was 20 years ago because of the market, not because Democrats increased taxes on them to fund their pet projects. As long as green products make money businesses will evolve to produce them.

  147. Hugh says:

I am not sure the dems can back off after their rhetoric today and not suffer a series of primary challenges by their base. The moderates are screwed either way. I am stunned this amounts to anything I suspect it’s pretty common particularly during the Obama years. However it’s clear justice is not blind and rules apply differently if you’re a democrat. No matter what that transcript says they will keep this alive for months.

  148. dblaikie says:

If Trump asked for a quid pro quo in this conversation, I don’t believe he would release it. Also, correct me if I am wrong, but I think word came out about the release of the transcript after Pelosi leaked she was going to start an impeachment hearing. If so, the Democrats have just cooked themselves.

Their only hope, if the transcript is a dud, is that some how the whistle blower has another bomb shell. However hasn’t it already been leaked that this mysterious person’s info was second hand.

Frankly I believe that Nancy has lost control of her party. OAC is embracing primaries for anyone who doesn’t meet the radical litmus test. I bet liberal dems in blue districts where they are afraid of a primary opponents who are more liberal than them are terrified. Heck that is happening to Nadler. We all thought Nancy would protect the moderates in the Trump districts. I didn’t think about liberals in blue districts afraid about facing a primary opponent from their left.

Finally I can already sense Wormtongue coming with a typical word and run.

    186. A positive test for cocaine in the military is about 100 Ngs. per milliliter. If it is a first time offender, and other extenuating circumstances exist, the military will often try and work with the offender to try rehab them so they can still serve.

However, Hunter Biden appears to have been flying so high on cocaine that he was part of his own air force. Cocaine has a very short period of time after use that it will appear in a test, so either Biden was oblivious to his testing date, or he was tested without notice, maybe as a result of his behavior.

The Navy claims they never talked to Joe Biden about the positive test and subsequent discharge.

Here is a news article about Biden at the time.

“Hunter Biden was discharged in October 2014. And he didn’t have a traditional military experience in the Navy before that. Biden, then 43, was “commissioned into the Navy Reserve unit for Navy Public Affairs Support Element East in Norfolk, Virginia. Biden, who had no prior military experience, was one of six officers commissioned nationally into the public affairs division of the Navy Reserve,” USA Today reports. Through his lawyer, Biden said he regretted and was embarrassed by his actions, and, “I respect the Navy’s decision.”
People started sharing and reacting to links to the four-year-old story in March 2018, leading some to believe that Hunter Biden had been recently discharged. Hunter Biden was back in the headlines in March 2017 when his estranged ex-wife claimed that the younger Biden “squandered his family’s money on hookers, strip clubs and drugs” in divorce papers, the New York Post reports.”

How Hunter Biden obtained a $50,000 a month consulting contract with a Ukrainian energy company during this time does need to be investigated.

This is a disaster on all fronts for the Dems.

If all that happens it will be a full week of tortured news.  In the meantime Clapper has already come into the fray saying the transcribed phone call may not be authentic.  And to add another twist to this entirely twisted story it has been revealed the whistleblower’s attorney has worked for HRC.
