Trump Trails Biden in GA By 8%

We have a new poll from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that shows Donald Trump would lose the state of Georgia to the top five Democrats if the election were held today.

    Joe Biden (D) 51%
    Donald Trump (R-inc) 43%

    Bernie Sanders (D) 48%
    Donald Trump (R-inc) 44%

    Elizabeth Warren (D) 47%
    Donald Trump (R-inc) 44%

    Pete Buttigieg (D) 46%
    Donald Trump (R-inc) 43%

    KamalA Harris (D) 45%
    Donald Trump (R-inc) 44%

This poll was done October 30-November 8 among 1028 registered voters. I am pretty confident in stating Donald Trump is not winning any Electoral College if Georgia is not in his column.

I don’t like Ginsberg’s ideology, but she is a fair woman when it comes to critiquing her judicial colleagues, whether they are liberal or conservative. Recently she stood up for the latest two conservative additions to the court. This earned her more respect from me. I wish her well.

    8. jason says:

      She should resign.

      I wish her well too.

And all those liberal who would jump out windows I wish them all a soft landing.

      All those liberal?

      Well, haven’t had breakfast yet.

Analysis: The first two witnesses called Wednesday testified to President Trump’s scheme, but lacked the pizzazz necessary to capture public attention.

    11. Bitterlaw says:

This is a Hearing. It is not a trial. Unless prohibited by a Congressional rule, hearsay testimony is permitted. It is also pretty weak if that is the best they have.

    12. Paul says:

So, I take it that these hearings are not going to change anyone’s mind on either side. Pelosi should probably switch to a censure vote at the end and call it a wrap.

    13. Messy says:

      8. It reminds me of a story…In 1890 or So, one of his colleges told Justice Steven Field, who had been appointed by Lincoln, that he was too old to serve and should resign. He said, no.

The other justice then reminded Field, how he had told another Justice to resign for the same reasons many decades before.

Field is said to reply: “and a dirtier deed I have never done.”

    14. Messy says:

10: The soviet rule is “Take them out in the back and have them shot.” BTW. All the major eyewitnesses are refusing to honor the subpoenas

If you want Trump exonerated, have ALL the eyewitnesses show up and do it.

From one Republican at impeachment hearing yesterday: ‘This whole thing is basically a pretext for removing Trump by people whose last pretext blew up in their faces.’

    17. Big Joe says:

That GA poll was making the rounds on local GA news yesterday. Quick glance at the cross tabs shows that the sample was made up of registered voters who went for Hillary in 2016 by a score of 43.3 – 41.7.

She, of course, lost the state by 5 points. That’s not to say the poll is flawed. Trump’s supporters could have died or are now disinterested while more Hillary voters have moved into the state or are more enthusiastic. Additional polls would be helpful here.

GA was one of only a few states that bucked the national trend in 2016 and moved towards the Democrats. There will also be two senate races. I hope to see more GA polls this cycle.

      Big Joe

    18. Phil says:

Well, Paul and I finally agree on something. Censure would be the best play here. If this is all they got plus Schiff being the face of the effort there is no hope of getting a single Republican vote in either House. None.

So what’s the downside of continuing down the present path?

      Trump is acquitted.

You put 31 of your members in electoral jeopardy and for what?

Trump will fundraise the hell out of impeachment. He already has.

Lends credence to Trump’s claim that the Democratic House is accomplishing nothing. Plays right into Trump’s hands.

When it goes to the Senate it is no longer Schiff in control of the process. Republicans get to subpoena their witnesses, present their own evidence.

Biden and his son are collateral damage. Do the Democrats really want to be screaming quid pro quo with their possible nominee on tape doing exactly that?

Whether Pelosi at this point thinks she can save enough face by switching to a censure vote I don’t know. It would be the right strategic move under the circumstances. Let’s see if smarts trumps raging hatred here. My guess is no. Once down that path it’s hard to make a U turn. Perhaps impossible.

    19. Tina says:

Looks like faux news is going socialist.

They banned a Jim Jordan video of him dismantling pompous idiot. This per his tweet.

Also, their legal analyst, who is just a NJ traffic judge is making so many errors.

    20. Tina says:

That pompous ambassador really makes me angry.

Is this the best we can offer to represent us abroad?

Yes, pompous was wrong and did not want to admit it.

    21. Phil says:

Oh yeah, if Ginsberg were to pass before Christmas you really have a mess. Talk about steering hatred on both side. This country will be torn to pieces.

    22. Bitterlaw says:

Sorry, Tina. I have heard it called a Hearing. In an Inquiry, hearsay would also be allowed.

    23. Phil says:

Unfortunately for Democrats hearsay isn’t enough to move the needle.

    24. Tina says:

Call it a sheot show, Bl.

    25. Victrc says:

Jason…you didn’t get the memo from Castro. It’s no longer quid pro quo, that’s not what it was because he didn’t receive anything in return, it’s now Extortion and Bribery. Sounds way more nefarious and they are hoping that this sinks in with the American voter.

To wit…please see the following which is there new meme. “To clarify: quid pro quo means “this for that”. As in “I’ll give you some milk if you give me some cookies”. It’s a trade, a barter. But “the money I owe you ain’t coming till you lie for me” isn’t quid pro quo. It’s bribery and extortion. That’s what he did. And it’s a crime.”

    26. mR.viTO says:

Didn’t you hear the man? Hearsay is better than direct evidence.

    27. Bitterlaw says:

      Has Mr. Vito really returned?

    28. Paul says:

19: As it moves along, they may get some moderate Republicans (King,NY et others) to agree that Trump’s actions were bad but not impeachable and get a few to go along with a censure.

    29. Phil says:

Perhaps….but that only happens if Pelosi actually moves to change impeachment to censure. It may be too late for that.

    30. Trump says:

California false flag shooting scripted to distract from how bad the impeachment is going for the Dems.

    31. Wes says:

Constitutionally Congress has no power to censure the President. That alone makes a censure problematic.

I just saw that Dems have new evidence of criminal activity by Trump, Evidently, there is a new whistleblower who claims they know someone who heard from a friend whose cousin works in law enforcement that Trump was seen jay walking in a town as he entered a restaurant to greet folks after a rally. Clearly, local enforcement did not react to this illegal and criminal behavior because they were frightened of the ramifications – federal funds could be withheld from local enforcement. We will know more soon, as the whistleblower is has filed a draft complaint and it is in the midst of being reviewed by Schiff’s office and legal counsel provided by George Soros.

      Stay tuned folks…

I have move all the time.
GWB and Obama evidently liked me.
      I have sacrificed sooooooooooo much.

      I got fired.
      Orange man bad!

    140. VictrC says:

did she really say shes responsible for the improvement in the Ukraine. LMAO. We have been doing business in the Ukraine for six year ACTUALLY PROTECTING THEM FROM RUSSIANS and she was a joke there, they laugh at her.

What a pompous pos. And what she is saying is mere speculation on her part, No knowledge of what anyone was thinking

    141. VictrC says:

Now their lawyer is actually asking her to speculate what a PResident of a foreign country was thinking, even though he has already said what he was thinking and she is really saying what she thinks he was thinking without ever knowing. WTF is this.

    142. Phil says:

Thanks for pointing that out. The woman is a hero.

    145. Tina says:

      Did I miss much?

      Shem Horne
To sum up the first hour. Yovanovitch is mad she got fired and the Democrats asked her to speculate on everything from the Trump call to why Biden got the prosecutor fired and now Schiff is suspending the hearing for awhile before the GOP can ask any questions. Pathetic.

    146. Phil says:

      Pretty sure he is, Wes.

What a stupid thing for her to say. Of course, it’s Maryland so politicians in that state can go as moonbat as they want without worrying about that particular electorate doing anything but agreeing with it.

    147. NYCmike says:

-I am pretty sure that a President Hillary would have installed an ambassador who would have done the same thing./s

    148. NYCmike says:

“What a stupid thing for her to say.”

-If we use #NeverTrumper rules, the fact that the media reported what she says about a Republican means that it is true.

When will Dave Wissing apologize for supporting a white supremacist Governor?/s

    149. VictrC says:

I hope that the Republicans ask poignant and direct questions, but don’t let her get emotional. Dont try to destroy her. No reason. She is her own worst enemy. It is easy to see shes a disgruntled ex employee who got fired. Just let her discredit herself by asking her factual questions like, do you set US foreign policy. Do “foreign service employees” set US foreign policy. Does the President have the righ tot set US foreign policy?

The Dem lawyer and she both said Congress also sets US foreign policy. Sorry, it doesn’t, and if the President wants Guiliani to communicate, or others who are better suited to communicate his wishes to a foreign govenrment, he can.

    150. NYCmike says:

-The article starts by blaming the flooding on global warming…..then goes on to detail how people have made decisions regarding where to build and where to dredge which were a change from the past, and which more likely is the reason that flooding is becoming more of a problem.

    151. NYCmike says:

      Good advice, VictrC.

They should get that same person who questioned Blasey-Ford.

    152. Messy says:

    153. VictrC says:

What a pos is Schiff. I am glad that america got to see what a farce this is.

He cut off a woman, an member of Congress who had questions when it was Republican time.

    154. VictrC says:

Obviously they wanted the woman to question her, which was smart. Castor is obviously not wanting to attack her at all because Liberals will whine and cry about a man questioning a woman because in their eyes, there can be no questioning of woman by a man.

    155. Tina says:
