Would they make more noise than the cricket sound emanating from their curiously small mouths?

Yo Hugh! Whaddup bro? I’ll be in south FL for a visit in Dec so I’ll stop by for my extremely expensive Xmas gift. Tops on my list are:

      – dual wrist sleeping braces, preferably black
      – comfort fitting shoulder sling, preferably black
      – pain reducing magnetic pads
      – portable high intensity heated electrical stimulating pulsating neck and back pads
      – a new collapsible cane, preferably black
      – orthopedic neck brace, preferably black

      Any of these are good.

So when Sean Hannity shows all the clips of the liberal media saying the exact same thing why isn’t he showing clips of Chris Wallace. He does the same thing of lobbing softballs at liberals and attacking conservatives. I almost threw up. I accidentally listen to about a minute of his roundtable. He actually went talking about the witnesses this week talked about long term career dedicated people. I didn’t get it exactly correct on the quote. I see a bunch of self-serving spoiled bureaucrats. In my job I deal with long term dedicated bureaucrats at times and they are some of the most despicable unaccountable people I’ve ever run into. If Fox News doesn’t lose Chris Wallace Brett Baer and Neil cavuto they are going to lose a big part of their audience for the news portions of their broadcast.

Here is why the media can’t move public opinion on impeachment try as they might.

Perception of registered voters on media bias and impeachment

Media Biased and pushing impeachment – 53%

Media reporting impeachment in unbiased way – 32%

Media biased trying to block impeachment – 8%

The first category includes 76% of Republicans as well as a strong plurality of 48% of independents, and even 36% of Democrats.

Among those who are following impeachment closely 58% believe the media coverage is biased toward impeachment and 34% believe it is either unbiased or slanted against impeachment.

It’s frustrating to watch the 24/7 slanted coverage, but keep in mind that most see through it. The media has been so obvious in their leanings over the last decade that their credibility has been shredded and it undermines their reporting. MOST people can see what is obvious.

Those 8% be smoking some loco weed!

    18. SanDiegoCitizen says:

There is a division on the left concerning impeachment. This from and article in the far left The Nation magazine.

“The Foreign Policy Establishment Is Hijacking Impeachment

Trump should not be impeached because he upset the national security establishment. Presidents have not just the right to disregard that establishment but, in fact, would usually be wise to do so. Nor should Trump be impeached because he undermined a Ukraine policy that has bipartisan support. After all, outside the consensus in Washington, there are many others who disagree with that policy. Even the fact that Trump runs a messy White House where goons like Giuliani are elbowing career diplomats isn’t really a good reason to impeach him. Giuliani is repugnant, but there’s ample precedent for a White House with private back channels. During the Kennedy administration, the president’s brother Robert Kennedy used a back channel with the USSR to help de-escalate during the Cuban missile crisis.
Regarding Ukraine, the most valid ground to impeach Trump is that he used his office for a corrupt purpose, to get a foreign government to slime a rival politician. That’s the offense that merits a constitutional rebuke and removal. Unfortunately, Democrats have watered down their own argument by giving center stage to Kent and Taylor, who prefer to grandstand for a hawkish foreign policy. Going forward, it’ll be crucial for Democrats to keep the focus on corruption rather than travel down the irrelevant byways of Ukraine policy.”

    19. John says:

Share some of the same frustration…I’ve seen Chris Wallace battle Shep Smith then battle Laura Ingraham and have seen Mr. Wallace go toe to toe with Bill Clinton. I believe he is slight left center or perfect to anchor the evening news for either ABC, NBC or CBS. Perhaps he is auditioning for a potential opening?
      Just a thought…though.

    23. Bitterlaw says:

Wes – I know this is heresy at HHR but sometimes there is bad news for Republicans so Fox reports it as bad news. The liberal media reports everything as bad news for Republicans but the answer is not to just be as biased the other way.

    24. Hugh says:

If you can listen to how Wallace phrase questions on his round table. No different than anyone on cnn or msnbc. Leading and clearly biased against anyone who would suggest these witnesses were less than American trying to save us from trump. .

    25. Phil says:

I’ve heard enough of Wallace over the past several months to no longer waste time on him.

    26. Victrc says:

      Wes and Bitter

I personally have no problem with Fox having left leaning journalist, and no, I don’t consider Chris Wallace to be left leaning. I had no problem With them having Shep et al on as well, knowing clearly Shep was a liberal and there to give that “side” same with Juan Williams.

I do think they have moved left since the brothers have taken over, and are losing viewership over it.

The negative of that is that people outside the Fox world think of it as still being the voice of the right and when they parrot liberal Talking points it makes liberals justified as if what they are spewing is correct, which of course makes Conservatives angry.

Overall I agree with your both. I don’t want to look in a mirror or live in an echo chamber. I want to hear all Sides of an argument so I can truly evaluate and come to an informed decision.

    27. NYCmike says:

Wes and Bitterlaw don’t like echo chambers, yet they think that criticizing FOXNews for asking the same questions as ALL of the other news stations is due to certain posters being afraid to hear a different opinion……….

Broncos blow another 4th quarter lead. Jason to call Broncos coach stupid in 3…2…1… never.”

Was on the road. Didn’t see the game. I will take your word for it. Broncos have lost 4 games in last 30 seconds. At some point it is not bad luck but incompetence.

Just watched Patriot Eagles highlights. Great throw by Wentz at the buzzer, Agholor could have caught it to beat the Cheatriots.

    29. NYCmike says:

“Just watched Patriot Eagles highlights. Great throw by Wentz at the buzzer, Agholor could have caught it to beat the Cheatriots.”

-Somehow, the Patriots are still “cheating” and NONE of the other NFL teams can catch them doing it…….the Patriots are as tight as a real A-Hole.

    30. jason says:

Wallace is a Never Trumper. He has an anti-Trump agenda same as Shep and Cavuto, so he parrots the MSM line on Trump. I don’t think he is a leftist, just a useful idiot for the left.

Fine with me. At least Fox has some balance that you won’t find at CNN or MSNBC or any of the networks.

There is only so much Hannity and Laura Ingraham you can take.

    31. jason says:

NONE of the other NFL teams can catch them doing it”

You mean they can only catch them some of the time.

      I agree.

    32. jason says:

No different than anyone on cnn or msnbc.”

That is true. Wallace borrows all their talking points.

The difference is that on CNN or MSNBC you will never have anyone disputing their agenda.

The round tables they have would make Pravda proud.

If Fox wants to have Wallace to represent the MSM view, so what?

    33. jason says:

So when Sean Hannity shows all the clips of the liberal media saying the exact same thing why isn’t he showing clips of Chris Wallace.”

He doesn’t have enough air time to showcase the entire liberal MSM. He would need days, not hours.

    34. NYCmike says:

One other thing: I saw Richard Sherman telling the other players to save their money and prepare for a strike. I agree with him. The owners are beyond greedy to want more games. The only thing I can figure is they are using that as a bargaining chip to get something else from the players…..I would love to see how “badly” all of their teams are doing that they wouldn’t just try to extend the agreement they have currently.

    35. Tina says:

Pawn Hannity has no time to show clips of that guy because he is too busy having Goober on the program, talking a big game, but not backing it up; OR

      Smarter than your average Democrat?

Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-N.J.) said that his House colleagues have expressed concern about the impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump.

Van Drew is one of two Democrats who voted against the impeachment process resolution, which no Republicans voted for.

“There is some discussion among some of them, quietly, privately, of concern certainly,” he said during an appearance on Fox’s “Sunday Morning Futures.”

“I mean, what I’m hearing out in the street is they’re kind of tired. They’re kind of worn out. They’re kind of bored, most folks. And they really want to move on unless there’s something new and amazing. We know the end game here,” he said.

Van Drew said that he would probably vote “no” if the House votes on impeaching Trump but said he’s not sure how other members of Congress will vote.

“Now, I always have a codicil if there’s something new, something we haven’t heard, something that really rises to the level of treason or a high crime—that would be different. But we don’t see that. We see little different variations, hearsay, “

MOSCOW—Brutal totalitarian dictator Joseph Stalin has warned Democrats that they may be going “too far left.”

And we didn’t have any of this weird transgender athlete stuff—we just used steroids to stifle the competition and fired AK-47s at athletes’ feet until they ran faster.”

“Honestly, I’m a little worried,” Stalin said, distancing himself from the leftist wing of the Democratic Party. “If they keep this up, they’ll kill even more people than I did.”

Stalin’s comments immediately faced backlash on social media, with progressives sarcastically asking Stalin whether he thought “a livable wage,” “good healthcare,” and “mass starvation resulting from government’s inability to plan an economy” were “too far left.”

“In no way will this backfire on us,” said Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy. “Surely the left will be entirely appeased by this move. They will definitely forgive us right away and welcome us as one of them. In no way will they hold our past activities against us. This is much better than our previous Christian audience, who were always adoring us and never protesting us.”

Cathy said the Christian fans have been great, but it’s boring just having loyal fans who support you through thick and thin, and he’d much rather have fans who stage die-ins and cancel you when you don’t cave in.

“Sometimes you just want to be loved by a group that protests you for years and calls you a bigot,” he added, shrugging.

At publishing time, a source had confirmed that Chick-fil-A was paid a sizable bribe of thirty pieces of silver to defund the Christian organizations.

In Genius Move, Trump Supports Impeachment, Forcing Democrats To Oppose”

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The impeachment hearings have been thrown into chaos after President Trump announced that he supports impeachment, forcing Democrats to oppose their own impeachment inquiry.

“Impeachment? I’m for it. Great idea. Best idea, maybe ever,” he said, adding that he’s “getting kinda sick of all this winning anyway.”

Girl Scouts teaches parents how to turn your daughter into an unfriendly, entitled, anti-social bitch, and reminds them that the real threat is your own family.

Reminder: She Doesn’t Owe Anyone a Hug. Not Even at the Holidays.

Holidays and family get-togethers are a time for yummy food, sweet traditions, funny stories, and lots and lots of love. But they could, without you even realizing it, also be a time when your daughter gets the wrong idea about consent and physical affection.

Have you ever insisted, “Uncle just got here—go give him a big hug!” or “Auntie gave you that nice toy, go give her a kiss,” when you were worried your child might not offer affection on her own? If yes, you might want to reconsider the urge to do that in the future.

Think of it this way, telling your child that she owes someone a hug either just because she hasn’t seen this person in a while or because they gave her a gift can set the stage for her questioning whether she “owes” another person any type of physical affection when they’ve bought her dinner or done something else seemingly nice for her later in life.

“The notion of consent may seem very grown-up and like something that doesn’t pertain to children,” says Girl Scouts’ developmental psychologist Dr. Andrea Bastiani Archibald, “but the lessons girls learn when they’re young about setting physical boundaries and expecting them to be respected last a lifetime, and can influence how she feels about herself and her body as she gets older. Plus, sadly, we know that some adults prey on children, and teaching your daughter about consent early on can help her understand her rights, know when lines are being crossed, and when to go to you for help.”

Interesting perspective from a rabbi on how the 10 GOP members on the Intelligence Committee can use the Torah to “save our Nation’s integrity”.

      An excerpt:

“Ten people committed to acting right can change everything. No matter how grim things may look, it is important that this teaching from this week’s Torah portion is remembered by us all, and especially by the ten Republican members of the House Committee on Intelligence during these hearings.

It is clear to anyone who looks seriously at the facts as opposed to the media leaks and propaganda that these impeachment hearings are significantly less than fair or appropriate, and as Senator Graham rightly said, “is a political exercise that’s different than anything that’s ever happened when it comes to trying to impeach a president.” It is clearly full of the darkness of partisanship, subterfuge, and lying. Led by Congressman Schiff, abusive rules have been created that have nothing to do with righteousness or a pursuit of truth, and are specifically designed to prevent truth from being explored.

Like ancient Sodom, it would seem that the House is committed to their practices, even when they know they are not righteous. That have embraced a behavior that even many of the Democrats in the House know is wrong, but have rationalized their unethical behavior by believing that their goal of overturning Trump’s election is worth sacrificing their values for. And at first glance, it would seem that they will get their way, at least as far as impeaching the president for trial in the Senate.

But the Torah teaches that there is another opportunity. There are ten Republicans questioning (or at least trying to ask questions) during these hearings. The same number that was required to save Sodom in ancient times. Led by Representatives Nunes and Jordan (who is on the Committee temporarily for these hearings), these ten have an opportunity to fight for what is right. Ten could have saved Sodom, and these ten men and women could save our nation’s integrity as well.”

Conservatives should be able to support that mission no matter how they personally feel about their changing donation structure.

This beleaguered fast-food restaurant is a business, not a church. It seems rather hypocritical for conservatives to shame Chick-fil-A for making their own decisions when they’ve defended them from the very same line of attack from leftists for years. The disappointment is understandable, but not enough to ditch them and the good they do.

I doubt that many people who have had a problem with Chick-fil-A will suddenly start eating there. So basically the anti-Trumpers were horrified by the call.

      Other were not.

Everything has an opinion, but the transcript is there.

“On a day where several people testified before Congress that President Trump’s phone call in July with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky left them feeling uneasy, the president did receive at least one message of resounding support.

Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, who serves as Vice President Mike Pence’s national security adviser, released a statement Tuesday saying that the call — which he was listening in on — was perfectly acceptable. “I heard nothing wrong or improper on the call,” he said. “I had and have no concerns.”

Kellogg’s statement comes just a few hours after Jennifer Williams, a top foreign policy aide for Pence who reports to Kellogg, testified before Congress that she found the call “unusual because, in contrast to other presidential calls I had observed, it involved discussion of what appeared to be a domestic political matter.”

The statement is seemingly a response to Williams’ hearing, as Kellogg notes that Williams also testified that “she never reported any personal or professional concerns to me” about the call.”

So just how many people listen in on the President’s calls?

And knowing all these people listen, why would Trump offer a bribe on such a public call?

Parents Buy Up Nation’s Entire Stock Of Earplugs In Preparation For ‘Frozen 2’

U.S.—As America eagerly awaits Friday’s theatrical release of Frozen 2, the much-anticipated sequel to Disney’s hit animated film Frozen, parents across the nation have been seen buying up earplugs in large quantities.

The cartoon musical is following its predecessor with more show-stopping dramatic anthems like “Let It Go,” prompting moms and dads to stock up on ear protection as their kids are sure to incessantly belt the songs at the top of their lungs in cars and homes.

Moms and dads alike rushed stores like Walmart, Target, Home Depot, and even gun and ammo stores desperately trying to get something to stem the tide of incredibly annoying and yet somehow extremely catchy songs from making their way into their ear canals. Massive brawls broke out all across the country as parents fought over the last pair of noise-reducing earmuffs or sound-muffling earplugs at various stores.

“I SAW THEM FIRST!” one man bellowed as another father snaked the last pack of orange earplugs. “LET IT GO!” he cried as he put the man in a chokehold.

“I had some custom earplugs made for my dogs, too,” one woman told sources. “They howl like crazy when they hear Idina Menzel screeching those high notes.”

At publishing time, several fathers admitted to downloading and listening to the Frozen 2 soundtrack, claiming they were just acclimating their ears to the impending onslaught.

Well where do the dems go from here? I don’t see tactical retreat option. The only thing holding up this charade is a corrupt press and it’s not getting it done for them. Sell your Fox News shares. They are ruining their brand big time.

Rand Paul didn’t vote against it?

      Maybe he is on vacation.

    153. Phil says:

Where do Democrat’s go from here?

Well, a week ago I thought they’d consider an off ramp towards censure. That would be the prudent move. Now? No way do I think that is going to happen. I’ve seen all I need to see. They’re too far gone mentally. They’re so stark raving mad that it’s all emotion. The less traction they get with all this the more consumed with rage they become and the further they go down the impeachment road…….and It just gets worse and worse. No way they turn back.

      ……and I’m loving it.

    154. NYCmike says:

If they make a movie about the impeachment inquiry, David Schwimmer will get to play the role of Lt Col Vindman, similar to how he played the original CO of Easy Company in Band of Brothers, who was not liked by his soldiers.

    156. Hugh says:

Phil. I hate this. It stressful unbelievably unfair. Makes me irritable and I’m a naturally happy guy. Having said that if this goes to the senate Mitch will brutalize them. He will drag this out as the republicans make the whistleblower shiff et al testify and this blows up in their face big time. I need to be patient as revenge is a dish best served cold. Let them impeach

    157. Paul says:

162: The smart thing would be to switch to a censure at the end of the hearings. The Dems could say that they’ve brought this incident out into the light of day, that the attempted bribe using military aid as leverage was very improper but doesn’t quite reach the level of impeachment. And then have the voters decide.

      I am sure it’s just a coincidence.

    159. jason says:

      Nah, nah, nah.

You made your bed, now lie in it.

    164. jason says:

Well, well…Dems lose a PA Senator.

“A state senator from Luzerne County said Tuesday he is changing his party registration from the Democratic Party to become an Independent, and will start attending caucus meeting in Harrisburg with the majority Republicans.

John Yudichak said in a statement that he is leaving his old party because he is weary of “’purist’ politicians who demand that you choose a battle camp. You must pass their litmus test, and declare if you support ‘us,’ or ‘them.’”

    165. jason says:

Someone should warn John that there are plenty of litmus test deadenders on the other side too.

the dem candidates have been raising

before the nominee is even chosen they will spend collectively about $400 million at this pace

trump will have about that in the bank by the gop convention

money is not everything, hillary outspent trump 2 to 1

but … it usually does mean something

consider that trump had zero gotv going for him last time, while romney spent iirc $60 million on it

    182. SanDiegoCitizen says:

“ALBANY – Federal regulators allowed the Constitution Pipeline to move forward Wednesday, ruling New York took too long to deny a key permit that had been blocking construction of the proposed natural-gas line.

The decision handed down by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission found the state Department of Environmental Conservation waived its right to reject the necessary water-quality permit for the pipeline because the state agency failed to act in a timely manner.

The ruling comes three years after DEC denied the pipeline builder’s permit application for failing “to meet New York state’s water quality standards.”

It clears the way for Williams Partners LP, the gas company heading the project, to move ahead with the Pennsylvania-to-New York line, though the state is likely to challenge the decision.

The 124-mile, 30-inch-wide pipeline would carry from Pennsylvania across New York’s Southern Tier, cutting through eastern Broome County and Delaware County en route to Schoharie County, west of Albany.”

The Federal government in California resolved the Central Valley Delta water crisis; it may have to do the same for Cuomo’s natural gas shortage crisis. Weak Democratic state politicians are afraid to make hard decisions.

    183. Wes says:

Sad day for Mikey and Schumer.

Republicans are getting their strongest candidate in KS-Sen, thus eliminating the chance Deadender Kobach will be the nominee:

    184. Phil says:

This is good news, Wes. On the other hand, Politico is giddy about Democratic prospects in NC vs Tillis. They are saying there is a deadender making Tillis spend his money in a primary and then they are goo goo gaga over his Democratic opponent – some ex military fake moderate….Cunningham I think his name is.

    185. Wes says:

Cunningham is a C-List candidate last seen finishing second to Elaine Marshall in the 2010 Senate primary, Phil. Even with the Deadender, Tillis has an advantage over Cunningham. Unless Trump melts down here I’m not too worried about that race.

    186. jason says:

hey are saying there is a deadender making Tillis spend his money in a primary and then they are goo goo gaga over his Democratic opponent – some ex military fake moderate….Cunningham I think his name is.”

I am sure NYC has mailed him a check to support the Mikey Maneuver.

    187. Wes says:

I’m sure Mikey has already mailed the full $20090 to Tillis’ primary opponent and another $2000 to Cunningham, Jason.

He has to cover all bases in his goal of advancing conservatism by helping Schumer become Senate Majority Leader.

    188. Wes says:

      $2000, not $20090.

“BALTIMORE (AP) — The disgraced former mayor of Baltimore was charged Wednesday with fraud and tax evasion involving sales of her self-published children’s books.

An 11-count federal indictment accuses Catherine Pugh of using her “Healthy Holly” books to enrich herself, promote her political career and fund her run for mayor.

Federal authorities say Pugh and two city employees double-sold her self-published children’s books or failed to deliver them to institutions they were purchased for, including the Baltimore City Public Schools. Pugh then allegedly used the proceeds to fund straw donations to her mayoral campaign and to renovate a house.

Pugh, who has been in seclusion since early April, is expected to surrender to U.S. marshals before an initial appearance and arraignment Thursday before U.S. District Judge Deborah K. Chasanow in Baltimore. The grand jury’s indictment charges Pugh with conspiracy to commit wire fraud, seven counts of wire fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and two counts of tax evasion.”

Sondland now admits there was a “quid pro quo” for a White House meeting or call. Notably, in McDonnell v. United States, the Supreme Court held that a meeting or call doesn’t qualify as an “official act” for purposes of a bribery prosecution.

Is Trump woefully inexperienced in the political realm? YES

Is Trump a fish out of water in the politics of Washington? YES

Does Trump say and do inappropriate things? YES

      Is Trump inarticulate? YES

Is Trump (and his tweets) his own worst enemy? YES

Is Trump a divider rather than a uniter? YES

Does Trump often come across as an egotistical, vindictive boob and a clown? YES

Does Trump usually use good judgement? NO

Does Trump more often than not listen to the good advice and counsel of those around him? NO

Is Trump’s personal life littered with skeletons? YES

Is Trump a sleaze ball? YES

Does Trump (wrongly) think he can operate as president like he operated as a corporate executive and with the same impunity? YES

Does Trump misuse his nonprofit, private foundation inappropriately (just like the Clintons, et. al. have done for decades)? YES

Do any of the above things rise to be an impeachable offense? NO

The Dems and MS-LSD MEDIA and other supporters bent on impeachment do not want to operate on the premise that what is good for the goose is good for the gander.

They just want to goose the gander (Trump), so the gooses can operate willy-nilly in the barnyard without the gander.
