“The pranksters then suggested that “Greta” would record a hip-hop song in support of Sanders together with singer Billie Eilish and rapper Kanye West. They said there would be luxury sports cars and hot women dancing while Sanders wears “gold jewelry.” The senator thought it was funny and laughed it off, but apparently, “Greta” was serious.

How many below -10% finishes will it take for Warren to realize its time to drop out. She must create one of her famous plans to end her candidacy.

    Buttigieg 11% (+5)

Warren knows she is done. She is just looking for the best time to drop out. I would guess between SC and Super Tuesday. She doesn’t have the money to compete in all the Super Tuesday states. That would stretch her too way too thin.

If I were her I would drop out next week the day after Nevada.

Its amazing how quickly impreachment has been totally forgotten.

But we have more impeachments in the pipeline.

Trump congratulated Barr on not allowing Stone to be railroaded on his sentencing by rogue prosecutors.

  9. jason says:

As I quickly predicted yesterday, it looks like the Hillary for VP story is BS.

The one thing Bloomberg is not is stupid. Why would he want a geriatric ticket with all of Hillary’s baggage on the ticket.

If Bloomberg is nominated, his running mate will be a younger woman or a minority.

  10. Phil says:

…plus how safe would you feel to be the only one standing between Hillary and the presidency? Sounds to me like that would be a death wish.

  11. Victrc says:

Phil. You’re right. Why would he hang himself with Hillary. He’s be Better someone else

  12. Tgca says:

Agree in principle with Jadon. Too bad Mayor Butt hates AA and is not a man of color. He would be a perfect VP choice for Bloomie. Maybe we’ll find out he is like 1/512th of South American latin origin. Then he can check all the right boxes. Gay, Bottom, Latino radical liberal.

  13. Phil says:

Bernie commercials have now hit the air here in Texas.

Go Bernie! Not saying he can pull it off but if he could somehow pull it off in Texas on top of a California win the same day we would be guaranteed a brokered convention.

    Feel the Bern!

  14. Phil says:

That said, doubt Bernie can do it in Texas. If, however, Biden wins in SC to stay alive then Bloomberg and Biden can divide up the non Bernie vote enough to open the door just a crack for Bernie here in Texas. Bernie should do very well in Austin.

Bloomberg running a lot of ads in PA.

He really is trying to buy the election.

  18. jason says:

I would register as a Dem to vote for Bernie.

But in PA at polling sites they read your name out and state your party out loud.

I really don’t want to hear Jason Huamanpallpa Maricanchi Pachacamac – Democrat.

  19. jason says:

Not to mention Dems are rarer than rocking horse turds in my precinct.

  20. Phil says:

So much easier in my state. Just get in line on the Democratic side and they hand you a Democratic ballot. Mark it for Bernie and then vote for Trump in November.

    Piece of cake.

    Feel the Bern.

  21. jason says:

I would definitely vote for him if it was that easy.

If Bernie wins the Democratic nomination, guess what the issue the Republicans will focus on? Bernie could lose as badly as McGovern did in 1972.

  23. SanDiegoCitizen says:

Bernie often points to Sweden as an example where socialist works. But the old Boleshevik is totally wrong, as pointed out by a former Swedish leader:

“Prime Minister of Sweden from 1991 to 1994, Carl Bildt, took to Twitter to warn Sanders that socialism is not the key to creating a great society as he and Ocasio-Cortez seem to think.
After old footage showing Sanders and his wife, Jane, praising the Soviet Union for its programs targeting the youth went viral online, Bildt responded by saying “Sanders was lucky to be able to get to the Soviet Union in 1988 and praise all its stunning socialist achievements before the entire system and empire collapsed under the weight of its own spectacular failures.”
To the former prime minister, the damage socialism can cause is still fresh in his memory. After all, he was the first prime minister in 60 years to not subscribe to the ideology. And thanks to him, Sweden’s capital gains taxes were cut to 30 percent and corporate taxes to 28 percent.
Bildt also privatized several state-owned industries, deregulated multiple sectors of the economy, allowed people to invest portions of their pension, and introduced school choice policies, improving the country’s education system.
After Bildt, Sweden, which had completely lost its host of entrepreneurs thanks to business taxes that sometimes exceeded the 100 percent mark, once again flourished. Even as Social Democrat successor Ingvar Carlsson took over.
Seeing the wonderful changes just a few years worth of reform had done, Carlsson kept Bildt’s policies in place. And business start-ups rose nearly 25 percent as a result.,”

  24. Phil says:

Bernie would get killed in a general election. Exactly why I intend to vote for him in the primary.

It’s a no brainer for any Republican that has the opportunity to cross over.

    Feel the Bern.

  25. jason says:

The problem for Bloomberg is that most of the 33% that would not vote for a billionaire are probably leftists.

  26. jason says:

Well Phil, according to Corey, you are placing the country at “great risk”.

This from the guy who said a far leftist is better than Trump.

You can’t make this sh-t up.

  27. Cash Cow TM says:

    My money is on Bloomberg.

Avoids the debate stage, and instead has $500MM spent on media ads…D alternative to obvious insanity…garners enough votes in primaries (no caucus) states and along with Biden, Butt, and others splitting up delegates prevents Bernie from a slam dunk first round convention vote win.

SMART idea to FLOAT he is considering HILLARY as VP slot…gets her backers on board to vote for him during primaries….then he chooses someone less toxic in general to be running mate.

He will spend $1 BILLION of his own money…including $$$ to get the Black voters to come to him….

He has been very successful in getting other Ds elected to senate and House of Rep….major contributor and media buy factor in getting D control in VA…

    Scary times…

Woke up with an epiphany this morning. Was thinking about China. Their inflation is acceleration and they are doing more fiscal stimulus vs the Volcker cure of cutting it off with interest rates.

falling employment, falling GDP, increasingly out of control inflation.

China could be going into 1980’s style stagflation at least possibly and merits watching.

That would be a GREAT market for GOLD.

  31. Phil says:

Yeah. Corey warning all us of the dangers of a leftist takeover of the country is laughable. Like he’d give a sh*t about that.

Corey and his Never Trumper pals want Bernie blocked for the Democratic nomination for one reason and one reason only – that is, they know it would guarantee Trump’s re-election. Hence, they are all in on Bloomberg for now. It has nothing to do with ideology. It’s all about the best way to defeat Trump. Saving the country from “the risk” of socialism is Corey BS.

If Sanders was ever nominated that would all change as Corey and his buds twisted themselves into a pretzel explaining why it would actually be good to vote for Bernie over Trump. It would be pure comedy gold and extremely entertaining. Hide and watch.

  63. Phil says:

Bloomberg and Biden definitely hurt each other. They occupy the same lane and badly split that vote in a number of states on Super Tuesday – especially California and Texas which have gobs of delegates.

If Biden can hang on and eek out a narrow victory in SC he remains viable into Super Tuesday. The Biden – Bloomberg split will enable Bernie to then walk off with a plurality of Super Tuesday delegates virtually assuring a second ballot at the convention.

At some point after the first ballot the Super delegates jump in and are enough to take down Sanders. He sure as hell isn’t going to like that especially if it results in the nomination going to multi billionaire Bloomberg.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see how all this benefits Trump in the GE. Delicious.

  64. SanDiegoCitizen says:

    52. Am not sure the trade wars were “disasterous” for Trump. It appears the economy is doing quite well, and Trump is getting strong support for his handling of the economy in the latest Gallup poll:

“The economy. Americans’ confidence in the economy is higher than at any point in the past two decades. Similarly, national satisfaction is the highest in nearly 15 years.
Sixty-three percent of Americans now approve of the way Trump is handling the economy, up six points from the prior reading in November. It is the highest economic approval rating not only for Trump, but for any president since George W. Bush enjoyed stratospheric job approval ratings in the first few months after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.”

  65. jason says:

Am not sure the trade wars were “disasterous” for Trump”

I didn’t exactly say they were disastrous for Trump.

I said Trump was lucky he could end his idiotic trade war with China and pretend he “won”.

The US economy is doing well despite the idiotic trade wars, not because of them.

  66. jason says:

    I should have said:

That money could make the difference for them. Give them a new start
