“I have a lot of black support because that’s where I come from. I was raised in the black church”

You can’t make this sh-t up.

Isn’t a response a post? Jason is not too bright. Besides, I actually do work and don’t sit in front of a computer all day like Jason does in his parents basement. Not real bright. LOL

Show of hands of those who believe Hunter Biden testifying will help Joe down the stretch in Iowa and New Hampshire….and if you think Schumer is going to get away with calling just Bolton with no reciprocal Republican witness (Hunter) you are smoking something. No way there are 51 Republican Senators that go for that one and that includes Collins BTW. She needs the Trump base in November and they’d be furious if she voted for just Bolton.

The new pipe dream floated by Democrats that Roberts will just be able to intervene and decide only Biden is relevant isn’t going to fly. They’d need two thirds of the senate to change the rules and give Roberts that power…not to mention that Roberts in no way wants to be put in that position.

    6. Phil says:

      BTW, go Bernie!

    7. Skippy says:

      Klobmentum continues.

“…..Of the voters who’ve made up their minds in the last week, 25% have gone with Klobuchar, suggesting she may have some momentum.”

“Among those who say they’re still making up their mind, Biden (22%) and Klobuchar (21%) lead.”

“Voters 65 and older are closely divided: Biden has 24% of their support, while Buttigieg gets 21%, Klobuchar 20%, Sanders 15%, and Warren 13%.”

Amy Klobuchar will get to 15% on Iowa Caucus night next Monday.

The Leninist Marxist brainwashed moron didn’t understand what I wrote?

I will try to write in a way a moron would understand next time, I promise.

Anyone believe Proud Obamacommunist could actually get hired for anything?

      No, me neither.

    10. jason says:

I don’t think Klobuchar is going anywhere, which is good news for Trump.

Yes, she is a far leftist moonbat like the others, but she has not been defined yet, so she is trading on somehow being a “sane” Democrat to get votes.

We want a defined commie like Sanders.

    11. SanDiegoCitizen says:

It is possible that Warren will not get 15% of the vote in some early primary states, such as New Hampshire. If so, she will be below the threshold to obtain delegates statewide, and perhaps in a majority of congressional districts.

It is also possible Biden may not obtain 15% of the statewide vote in California, or in many congressional districts. This mean no or few delegates from a state which has over 10% of the total convention delegates.

This all works in Sanders favor. Can see why Bloomberg and the tech industry are in the meltdown mode. They want a faux socialist, not a real one.

    12. Proud Obamacon says:

Same old chit from Jason making up fantasies. He’s pretty dumb but even he should know that it’s the Blue states that support the deadbeats in the Red states. It’s the ReTHUG party that is full of uneducated, unemployed, basement dwellers like himself. I think he knows this so he has to make up chit to make himself feel better.

    13. jason says:

Klobuchar and Mayor Butt are appealing to the same voter only one can survive for long.

    14. jason says:

It’s the ReTHUG party that is full of uneducated, unemployed, basement dwellers like himself”

Ah yes, the deplorable argument that worked so well for Hillary.

Let’s see if the intellectual Marxist elitists really have more votes than people that actually believe in America.

    15. Phil says:

Last poll I saw out of California showed Biden leading in California, SD. That really surprised me. I think it was a Survey USA poll if I’m not mistaken. You would know better than me. My guess is he’s lost some points since it was taken based on his slide in other state polls.

    16. Phil says:

How much are you sending Bernie, PO? Tell you what. Whatever it is I’ll match it. We like the same guy, but I’d guess for entirely different reasons.

    17. jason says:

The unemployed, who are getting handouts from the Marxist to stay unemployed, are Trump voters?

      Not quite.

“Unemployed Americans were more likely to vote for Hillary Clinton than Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election — but they were almost just as likely not to vote at all, according to a new survey out Wednesday.

Per the survey, released by Express Employment Professionals, 35% of unemployed people voted for Hillary Clinton while 25% voted for Donald Trump. Another 34% said they didn’t vote at all.”

Of course, thanks to Trump, there are a lot fewer unemployed.

Those that got jobs would be smart to vote for Trump so they can keep them.

Those still unemployed who want to work would be smart to vote for him too.

Those unemployed who don’t want to work, well they should vote for the moonbats.

    18. jason says:

      Et tu, Toobin?

“CNN’s Chief Legal Analyst Jeffrey Toobin: Pam Bondi “did an effective job of showing how sleazy the hiring of Hunter Biden was.”

“The only reason he got” the job “is because he was the Vice President’s son”

Not that anyone with half a brain (I know this is news to ProudObamacommunist) ever doubted the odds of Hunter Biden getting a $50k a month job in the Ukraine if his father was not the VP charged with the Ukraine were what, 10 billion to one?

    19. Tina says:

Phil, crack rock Biden is in no shape to testify.

It does not appear that we will have witnesses.

I like that the new Georgia senator slammed Pierre

    20. jason says:

I remember when Proud Obamacommunist was saying here that the fact under Obama the lowest labor participation rate in History was going on was “not a problem” because “these were children in school and old people”,

      What an idiot.

    21. jason says:

The new GA senator knows what everyone knows.

Scumbag Romney is an MSM toady.

    22. Wes says:

Jason, according to Mnw on RRH, Loeffler is a duplicitous cryptoliberal only pretending to be a conservative so as to attract votes and deny electoral powerhouse Doug Collins a Senate seat before she reverts to her faux history of liberal activism.

Those aren’t his exact words, but that’s the gist of his unfailingly vitriolic posts directed at Loeffler.

    23. Sheeple,Jr. says:

“Bolton claims may be a bust. Senate Republicans hint after a closed-door meeting Tuesday afternoon that the GOP consensus is mostly against witnesses. The whip (vote counter), Sen. John Thune, tells us the Senate trial “shouldn’t” go beyond Friday. “We are kind of on schedule”

From Susan Ferrechio of the Washington Examiner

    24. Proud Obamacon says:

LOL Jason is such a moron. I remember when he (and everyone else here) was soooo outraged at the participation rate. Now that the rate is pretty much unchanged, he never mentions it. What a complete loooooosah! Then again, an uneducated leech on society like him can’t be expected to think for himself, he can only repeat Faux News propaganda!

    27. SanDiegoCitizen says:

I would find it hard to believe that Romney is not hearing about the polls in Utah. When the LDS Church owned newspaper in Utah features a poll today showing voters in the state, and especially Republicans and LDS Church members, against removing Trump; and Romney sees his popularity has been plummeting among Utah Republicans in another poll — perhaps he will take the hint.

    28. jason says:

It is almost unfair to dispute the asinine things Proud Obamacommunist posts here, but heck, someone has to do it.

“It’s the ReTHUG party that is full of uneducated”

It’s actually the Dems that are interested in keeping students who want to improve and be successful in bad schools, presumably because they figure once they get a good education they will stop supporting Democrats.

In fairness to Bloomberg, he does support charter schools, but nobody else in the Dem field does.

    29. jason says:

and Romney sees his popularity has been plummeting among Utah Republicans in another poll — perhaps he will take the hint.”

His allegiance is to the MSM, not to his constituents.

I am skeptical he cares what they think.

    30. jason says:

I will believe Feinstein votes to acquit when I see it.

      But fwiw…

“Nine months left to go, the people should judge. We are a republic, we are based on the will of the people — the people should judge,” Feinstein said Tuesday, after the president’s team finished a three-day presentation in his defense. “That was my view and it still is my view.”

    31. jason says:

Scumbag Romney to rush to MSNBC interview to disagree with Feinstein in 3, 2, 1…

    32. jason says:

Jason, according to Mnw on RRH, Loeffler is a duplicitous cryptoliberal only pretending to be a conservative so as to attract votes and deny electoral powerhouse Doug Collins a Senate seat before she reverts to her faux history of liberal activism.”

Mnw was happy to give away the KS governorship to the moonbats, I am sure he is comfortable giving away a GA senate seat to.

I am sure NYC will second him, Mikey Maneuver!

More trash as usual from the resident idiot, Jason. It’s the ReTHUGS who want to keep kids from going to college. They know a college education can actually help us as a society move forward and break down all these archaic walls. Jason prefers we stay in 1846.

There’s a reason he doesn’t want anyone going to college. Who did college educated voters vote for in 2016? Who famously said that he “loves the poorly educated” ?

LOL Poor jason, such a lightweight.

Biden Huh? I am not a bum, I’m a jerk. I once had wealth, power, and the love of a beautiful woman. Now I only have two things. My friends and… uh… my thermos. Huh? My story? O.k. It was never for easy for me. I was born a poor black child. I remember the days sitting on the porch with my family singing and dancing, down in Mississippi.

    37. jason says:

They guy who thinks we should become another Venezuela wants everyone to go to college?

Actually, people in Venezuela have more pressing concerns. They are trying to get enough to eat in Proud Obamacommunist’s socialist paradise.

Republicans don’t want people to go to college, of course, is garbage. Republicans don’t want people to have health care, is garbage. Republican don’t want a clean environment, garbage.

This brainwashed Marxist turd comes here to regurgitate garbage he reads elsewhere, but he is too stupid to actually post something that can’t be refuted in 30 seconds.

    38. jason says:

Who did college educated voters vote for in 2016?”

Hmmm, Trump was actually the first R President to lose the college educated vote.

He was also the first R candidate in my lifetime I didn’t vote for.

But I am glad Proud Obamacommunist admits that for every election in the past 50 years before 2016, the people he considers “smart” voted Republican.

The idea of people actually going to college and getting an education absolutely TERRIFIES Jason and his Orange pals. And yeah, it should!

Uneducated voters for ReTHUG, educated voters vote for the good guys. These are what we call #FACTS backed by #DATA which Jason himself provided. Thanks bud! LOLLL

Time to primary Quittens and whomever else votes for witnesses.

    43. SanDiegoCitizen says:

The Salt Lake City Tribune had a poll out today showing Trump’s approve is now 57%-38%. He only won 45% of the Utah vote in 2016.

“Washington • As the Senate weighs Donald Trump’s presidential fate, more Utahns are backing him than ever before and do not want to see him convicted or removed from office, a new poll shows.
The president has never been popular in Utah, earning less than half the vote in 2016, but nearly 57% of Utahns now say they support him as the Senate continues the trial on abuse of power and obstruction of Congress allegations based on his dealings with Ukraine. Some 38% of respondents in the state disapprove of his job performance, according to the poll by The Salt Lake Tribune and Suffolk University.
“The impeachment is driving people to see what the Democrats have been saying about the president” isn’t justified, says Ron Fox, a Utah historian and one of Trump’s original supporters in the state. “And I think that most people, you know, candidly are trying to give him a fair shake. And I think they’re looking at him, and I think they’re deciding that he’s been doing a good job.”
Most Utah polls have shown Trump earning 50% of Utahns’ support or less since he took office, substantially lower than most Republican presidents have enjoyed in decades in the state.
Trump’s poll bump in Utah mirrors what he’s seeing nationally as the impeachment process drags on.

    44. lisab says:

    51. Michael says:

PO if I ever see you outside, I will kick your sorry ass. You are a stupid loser!

    52. SanDiegoCitizen says:

      44. I predict Romney will only serve one term, and if he runs again will not win. Keep in mind the Utah Republican Party did not endorse him in 2018, and he had to go the primary route. Utah has changed dramatically, it is now a booming, high tech state. Romney is not even from Utah, and never really has been accepted. Plus, he does not understand the underlying popular currents that have made Trump popular among Republicans, even in Utah. If I was to hazard a guess, Tanner Ainge is a possible replacement.

The Osmond legacy in Utah has been about forgotten. In a state with a younger, techie population, the Osmonds have as much relevance as Lawrence Welk. You need to visit the state to see how much it has changed.

    53. lisab says:

the downside to hunter testifying is that bloomberg would skyrocket

    54. lisab says:

    55. Wes says:

Mikey, I realize when Zaius lobotomized you he made you a blithering Moron, but here are Mnw’s exact words:

It’s amusing that Sen Loeffler has wasted not one nanosecond before attacking Romney on his impeachment/witness positions. “I am too a Republican!” says Kelly.
Funny headline at a blog: “The Part of Julie Swetnick Will Be Played by John Bolton.”

You tell me if I didn’t get the gist of what he was saying.

    56. Tina says:

      Hunter will no show,

Quittens and the other Rs won’t vote to call him.

If he no shows, what happens?

    57. Wes says:

Hey, I know. White Women are the only female demographic Trump carried in 2016 and are critical to his—and Republicans’ in general—success this year.

Let’s attack and savage a lifelong white female Republican donor as a closet liberal and oust her in a primary in a state where Trump has triggered a hemorrhage among Republicans of crucial female and suburban voters needed to outvote Democrats in Metro Atlanta.

Nothing could possibly go wrong with that strategy!

For the record, Mikey, I think Kemp is wrong to follow the wishes of your fellow Tea Party goons and try to block the establishment of partisan primaries for the race. That said, Republicans need to be judicious about whom they choose for the Class 3 seat. Doug Collins is a mini Trump who’s unlikely to attract new voters to his cause. Loeffler can’t be outspent and fits the demographic profile of the type of person Republicans need to lure back into the party to reverse recent suburban losses and stave off seeing GOP states such as GA and NC trending toward the Dems.

The libelous, unfounded attacks on Loeffler from Collins’ supporters are of no help in this race.

    58. Proud Obamacon says:

“PO if I ever see you outside, I will kick your sorry ass. You are a stupid loser!”

      Aww, this is cute.

    59. SanDiegoCitizen says:

      54. Agree. Believe he thinks he is in there for life. If so, the recent polls must have come as a shock to him. Both major newspapers in Utah publishing polls showing strong Trump support in Utah.

We can complaint all we want about the length of the impeachment process, but it has been a political boon to Trump. It might be damaging to Biden as well, as every day Hunter Biden remains front page news hurts Biden’s candidacy. Biden’s past is beginning to resemble Hillary’s in a lot of ways.

I’m not great at math but Democrats need four Republicans to get their witnesses Friday. They have Romney and Collins. Romney hates Trump’s guts which we all know explains his vote. Collins is voting that way to position herself in November. McConnell is probably fine with her doing that. After all, he wants to protect his majority. Garner spoke out against witnesses in the caucus today. He’s a no. That leaves Murkowski and Alexander as the two left who might vote yes. Murkowski everyone assumes is a yes. She certainly has a history of screwing over Republicans with Obamacare and Kavanaugh, but she is also the least vulnerable (not up until 2024 and from a solid red state). No electoral vulnerability whatsoever so she could do Mitch a favor and end this – if she wanted to. Assuming she once again opts to play Schumer’s chump that leaves Alexander. Is he willing to cross his friend Mitch and be Chuckie’s 51st vote?

I can say that Dems are in for a big surprise here come this November (in Texas). You are going to see, Biden or not, a much bigger margin for Trump here, especially after impeachment. People are pissed off, and those who might have sat out 2018 are going to be at the polls in November. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him win by 10+ over Biden and 15 over Sanders, which will carry some R’s to wins in seats that they lost in 18

Phil. Thanks. I was going to ask you what you thought, but you read my mind!

I think even if Biden is the nominee Trump is going to fair better than people think. At some point results have to matter. I don’’t like his name calling, nor some of his rhetoric, don’t like his spending or his tariffs, but that aside, but he’s been a much better President than I thought he was going to be.

I think that his deals with China and the re-done NAFTA are steps forward. I think the new Israeli – Palestinian Peace accord has more hope than we imagined we would be presented with, and is a step closer to peace than any previous President. He’s great on regulation, on the economy, drilling and energy independence, prison reform, jobs, taxes, pro-business. His America first business rhetoric is actually backed up by action. I know for a fact as we may have to move some manufacturing here to get some contracts, and it is a Dem who said to us emphatically that its because of Trump.

I think we are all going to be very surprised come November.

      ITS OVAH.

Bolton on tape, no problem with trumps Ukraine call.

    188. PresidentPaul! says:

If the dems had focused on the soleimani assassination the impeachment trial would have actually made sense.

Instead they are just doing a circus show.

    189. Tina says:

      Schiffty nailed

      Will Chamberlain ??
Jay Sekulow just made an outstanding point

If it’s important to protect the whistleblower’s communications – how could it not be important to protect the President’s communications?

    190. SanDiegoCitizen says:

You would think that someone in the Democratic leadership would point out that Trump’s popularity has risen substantially during the impeachment fiasco, and that it is detracting from the Democratic presidential primary process — where the real focus should be now. It seems to be a form of political self-immolation.

    191. PresidentPaul! says:

There was no Soleimani plan to attack multiple US embassies. It was an act of war without congress and it was entirely made up.

      That’s an impeachable offense.

    192. PresidentPaul! says:

Schiffty is a radical neoliberal hawk though so he would never bother investigating something that actually merits investigating.

    193. janz says:

Wouldn’t it be great if Schiff & Nadler both lost their congressional seats! They keep bending the narrative, the Constitution, rule of law, legalities and presidential powers explained multiple by the president’s team, seeming like little children wanting their own way rather than serious adults seeking a truthful and fair resolution to this trial.

    196. Phil says:

Exact point I made last night about Murkowski, SDC.

      – she is from a ruby red state where impeachment is unpopular

      – even if it was she doesn’t face the voters for 5 more yrs.

-she knows this thing ends in acquittal regardless. Why extend this trial by bringing in witnesses and thus opening it up to possible multiple witnesses and who knows how long the trial is extended.

Very possible she does Mitch a favor and says no to witnesses. No price for her to pay doing so.

Also works out well for Collins. She gets to show how “open minded” she was for the swing voters back home. Helps her keep her seat and Mitch is obviously fine with that.

As far as Romney goes, who cares?

    197. Phil says:

Bunu, please put a sock in it. You know for a fact that their were no plans to attack US embassies? Really? cIA briefing or was that information passed on to you from your friends in Tehran? As far as impeachable offense, take it up with Schiff. I’m sure he’ll be eager to push it for you.

    198. Phil says:

Sounds like a good time for the Democrats to drop their latest scripted “bombshell” into the impeachment proceedings. They are due and their witness push needs a boost. It’s the right timing. NYT and Washington Post usually release their planted stories mid evening. Tonight or tomorrow night. Wait for it.

    199. SanDiegoCitizen says:

      203. “Very possible she does Mitch a favor and says no to witnesses. No price for her to pay doing so.”

If there was a price, am sure Mitch heard about it. Alaskan politicians like to do things for their constituents.

    200. Tina says:

It would be nice if Senator Planned Parenthood did something for Mitchie, as opposed to doing things for Schumah.

WH Counsel Patrick Philbin: “If this were a criminal trial in ordinary court & Mr. Schiff had done what he just did…& start talking about crimes of bribery & extortion that were not in the indictment, it would’ve been an automatic mistrial.”

According to a Fox News headline, there is surprise new evidence, but not what Schiff would have wanted.

    206. dblaikie says:

Jay Sekulow just knocked the ball out of the park about witnesses. I have been wrong before. My perceptions are not perfect. But I believe that Trump’s lawyers are just tearing the House Managers apart.

Cryin’ Chuck ain’t sounding too bullish on witnesses…

    208. Michelle Obama vs the DNC buffet table says:

@213 You’re not wrong. It’s a blood bath. Once Schiff was on the hotseat, the case fell apart like wet toilet paper

    209. SanDiegoCitizen says:

Schiff has a high opinion of his new star witness — from Fox News:

“Separately, newly emerged clips of Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., now the lead House impeachment manager, showed him saying Bolton had a distinct “lack of credibility” and was prone to “conspiracy theories.” This week, Schiff said Bolton needed to testify in the trial as an important and believable witness.

“This is someone who’s likely to exaggerate the dangerous impulses of the president toward belligerence, his proclivity to act without thinking, and his love of conspiracy theories,” Schiff told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow on March 22, 2018, when Trump named Bolton national security adviser.

“And I’ll, you know, just add one data point to what you were talking about earlier, John Bolton once suggested on Fox News that the Russian hack of the DNC [Democratic National Committee] was a false flag operation that had been conducted by the Obama administration,” he said. “So, you add that kind of thinking to [former U.S. attorney] Joe diGenova and you have another big dose of unreality in the White House.””

    210. Tina says:

The nj traffic judge, crapitano, had Bolton on in. A 2010 interview

Bolton said that he could lie on the witness stand.

If they are going to make Bolton and other witnesses testify under water, then I will DEFINITELY start tuning in the impeachment proceedings.

    215. Cash Cow TM says:

I confess I did stop in to watch the impeachment hearing today.

I thought the segment of Q ad A session I saw was worthless.
D senators serving up softball questions to the D House impeachment managers and R senators serving p softball questions to Trump lawyers.

Regardless of the questions, the D impeachment managers went far afield of the question to give lots of editorial comments about how evil Trump is.

I was hoping someone would send up a question and Chief Justice would read: “How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?”

    216. Cash Cow TM says:

BTW WV Sen.Manchin (D) stated today he WILL vote for witnesses.

    217. jason says:

“Trump will be acquitted 53-47. He will not be exonerated.”

Messy Moron first says the Chief Justice would be “voting with the Democrats”.

Now acquitted has a new meaning?

      Merriam Webster hardest hit:

“- to discharge completely (as from an accusation or obligation)

      Synonyms for acquit

      absolve, clear, exculpate, exonerate, vindicate.”

Messy Moron has to be the most ignorant person ever to post here. A feat considering the intense competition

The drat said that is a red herring.

      New thread.

Biden is in first or fourth place.

    221. BayernFan says:

“On the verge of the first votes being cast in a primary contest with no clear leader, 66% of Democrats report anxiety about the election, compared with 46% of Republicans. Democrats are also more likely to feel frustration. Republicans, meanwhile, are more likely than Democrats to declare excitement about the race, and the share of enthusiastic Republicans appears to be rising.”
