DeSantis should be a hero to all Republicans…

    4. jason says:

Maybe that is what Dave meant since 90% of Rs approve of Trump.

Student loans? Sure, why not? I mean, in California they’ve cancelled customers paying for merchandise. You simply walk out of the store with whatever you decide to pick up off the shelves. Everything is free now in the New America!

    20. Waingro says:

      So Dave hates Desantis now?

Btw, that St. Pete poll is pure junk. They were a disastrous outlet in 2018 — were off by 4-6 points in Florida. They also have 20% of “Republicans” voting for Crist. LOL. Trash it.

    21. lisab says:

    27. lisab says:

“The Texas House Democratic Caucus could not account Tuesday for two of the members who broke quorum and fled for Washington, D.C. over Republicans’ priority elections bill, while a Texas Monthly reporter said the members were on vacation in Portugal.”

DC is under attack by the Delta variant, so it is only normal they would seek refuge in Portugal.

      People are so picky…

    31. jason says:

Rs should stay on offense on this issue, it is a winner.

      Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll

“Seventy-five percent of respondents said more police are needed on the street while only 25 percent say they do not need more cops on the beat.

Seventy-two percent of voters also said they oppose “defunding the police,” and a slim 52 percent majority said they support the controversial practice of stop and frisk in urban areas to “deter gun crime.” Fifty-six percent also say they oppose eliminating cash bail.”

    32. jason says:

The Portugal vacationers have now explained why they are there, and it wasn’t COVID.

      It was “non-refundable tickets”.

Bitter, can that be construed as a threat?

    38. Wes says:

It’s not possible, Sheep. 2022 is supposed to be 1934 Redux.

    39. SanDiegoCitizen says:

Two polls today show Biden’s approval under 50%:

      Economist/You Tube
      Biden’s Job Approval
      49% Approve
      44% Disapprove

      Rasmussen Poll
      Biden’s Job Approval
      48% Approve
      51% Disapprove

      Right Track 35%
      Wrong Track 54%

Responses to two questions in Quinnipiac Poll:

      Approval of Biden’s handling of economy;
      43% Approve
      48% Disapprove

      Should Biden run again in 2024;
      48% No
      37% Yes

    42. Phil says:

      Quinnipiac, huh?

Would this be the same Quinnipiac that came out last November 2nd showing Biden on his way to an 50-39 win over Trump nationally?

The same poll that showed Biden up in Florida on November 2nd by 5. The same pollster who showed Biden winning Ohio by 3.

      Oh Yeah, THAT Quinnipiac.

Let the record show Biden actually LOST Florida by 3.5

Also let the record show Biden not only didn’t carry Ohio, he actually LOST it by just over 8.

    43. SanDiegoCitizen says:

      44. Agree Phil. Quinnipiac has a Democratic bias. The fact even with that bias a Quinnipiac poll shows Biden with poor numbers, which in reality are likely even lower, shows Biden is in trouble.

    44. SanDiegoCitizen says:

      Opps!

“California Gov. Gavin Newsom was riding high after a buoyant pandemic reopening in June when state Democrats decided to fast-track the gubernatorial recall vote, but what once looked like a smart strategic decision now looms as a huge political blunder.

Shortly after state officials set the recall date for Sept. 14, the highly contagious delta variant began driving an unexpected surge in cases, prompting Mr. Newsom, a Democrat, to impose vaccine and testing requirements for state workers and the state’s largest counties to implement a second wave of mask orders on a mandate-weary public.”

    45. Bitterlaw says:

I have been in contact with MD. He said he is not Maxwell’s Demon.

    46. Sheeple,Jr. says:

Survey USA polled California and with respect to the Newsom Recall, YES is ahead by 11 pts.; 51/40.

    48. Phil says:

      September 14th

    49. Wes says:

Is he predicting 2022 will be the next 1934, Bitter?
