    2. Meldrim says:

Mr. Vito, is that 17,000-vote lead in Hillsborough just for ED, or does it include the early and absentee vote?

    3. Wes says:

      El Cuarto.

    4. jason says:

York Co turnout exceeds 2018 with 2 hours to go.

    5. MrVito says:

      #3 total

    6. GF says:

Couvillon says that total turnout as of now in AZ in +2.7 R. Still five hours to go, but with I’s breaking hard right this year, thats got to be good for Lake and probably Masters, too.

    7. jason says:

Warnock says he is preparing for runoff.

      Sounds confident.

    8. Meldrim says:

Donald Trump’s response to a question (from a gorgeous reporter; who is she?) about today’s elections are a mirror image of what many here predicted Robbie would say:

    10. Meldrim says:

Thanks, Vito. That’s a very impressive statistic, particularly with more voting remaining. Hillsborough has been voting Democratic for decades, and stayed D when Pinellas went R in 2016.

    11. Wes says:

Well, Greymarch is confident Warnock will win if that’s any consolation for the Senator, Jason.

    13. jason says:

      CBS can’t find a Crist voter…hilarious…

“We realized on that day-long trip, we spoke to dozens of people up and down the coast of Florida, all in precincts, by the way, that voted for President Biden in 2020. But to our surprise, we did not run into a supporter of Ron DeSantis’ Democratic opponent, that would be Charlie Crist.”

“It’s pretty clear Democrats have their work cut out for them here,” the journalist determined.

That revelation left co-host Gayle King flummoxed.

“Tony, it was interesting, though, about the Ron DeSantis voters. That you go from one end of the state to the other – and I know you were looking. You only found Charlie Crist supporters at a Charlie Crist rally. It was really that difficult?” she asked.

“Yeah, it was really that tough,” Dokoupil noted. He admitted to trying to flag down several drivers at a stop sign to ask who they were voting for, but found the same results.

“At one point I stood at a stop sign and flagged down every single car to ask the driver who they were supporting for governor. At another point I went into a diner that wasn’t on our list, this was meal four of the day, went to every table and couldn’t find one. That’s anecdotal, that’s not scientific,” he said.”

    14. jason says:

Any KY or IN tea leaves?

    15. jaichind says:

In IN Todd Young seems to be running behind Trump 2020. On the other hand, the votes being counted are most likely VBM and early vote.

    18. EML says:

I do not believe that much information can be gleaned until a county is 100% (or close) reported. We (at least I) have no idea where the votes are coming from.

    19. Wes says:

I wish RRH could keep from crashing.

    20. EML says:

    32. EML says:

Almost an hour in and zero election day votes reported.

    33. Wes says:

At this point, watching paint drying on a wall would give us more insight than we’re getting into these elections.

    34. Skippy says:

It’s been raining all day here in Metro area of Minnesota today…this could hurt turnout a bit for Democrats.

I smell a statewide election loss for Democrats here for first time since 2006 in any statewide election race.

      PROPOSAL ON POLLSTERS
The pollster that has the BIGGEST mistake in their final poll should:

      A. be fined $1 million, proceeds given to the winner of the race they got so wrong.

      B. Must come on national TV for one week wearing a dunce cap and sign saying I WAS THE WORST POLLSTER AND BIGGEST FRAUD IN THE 2022 CYCLE”.

      C. Receive a swift kick to the nutz.
(or at least given a giant weggie on national TV)

      D. Be banned from polling for 2 years

      E. Must forfeit their entire polling operation and hand it over to the pollster who was most correct.

    39. EML says:

Biden won 5 counties in Indiana – Indianapolis, Gary, and then Indiana, Notre Dame, and Purdue.

    40. Greymarch says:

      Tonight’s predictions:

      2023
      House: GOP240, DEMS195
      Senate: GOP51, DEM49
      Oz wins 48.5 to 47
      Walker loses a tight one
      Laxalt by 5 in NV.
Kelly/Masters = oh boy. could be closest of the night. Feels like recounts to me.

While I am in the middle of predictions: Manchin finally flips to R bc he’s up for re-election in 2 years. WV is now deep-red. He cant risk being a dem in WV anymore. McConnell rewards Manchin a juicy chairmanship. If Manchin flips in a few months. That puts GOP at 52 in the senate.

    41. Wes says:

It’s 7, so some non-Paleolithic states should be releasing results now.

    46. BayernFan says:

Banks is the GOP incumbent. Keep an eye on IN-1 for a GOP pickup opportunity.

    47. Wes says:

That’s not a pickup. Banks is the incumbent Republican in IN-3.

    51. Cash Cow TM says:

When Walt was in the legislature, his (and most of the GOP Pro Life legislators stance was abortion should only be allowed:
      1. due to the threat of the life of the mother
      2. unviable (or already dead) fetus
      3. rape (option for the woman raped)
      4. incest
      5. in first 20 weeks

      Walt still holds that view.
WV Right To Life organization was fine with that stance during that time.

VERY FEW R LEGISLATORS IN WV IN 2002 THROUGH 2016 PROPOSED TOTAL BAN ON ABORTIONS AND NONE COULD BE ALLOWED AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON.
      ********************************************
I am AMAZED as to how so many Rs today are 100% for a 100% total ban on abortions. NO exceptions.

Might be one to watch Vito. Hillsborough had a great GOP turnout today.

    71. Meldrim says:

I’m going to keep an eye on GA-07, the Fulton-Gwinnett district created as a Democrat vote dump in order to turn McBath’s CD Republican (and to which McBath then moved). Here are its current voting results:

      District 7
      7.68% Est. Vote Counted
      *Incumbent
      Candidate Total Votes % Votes
      Lucy McBath (D) * 12,463 53.9%
      Mark Gonsalves (R) 10,655 46.1%

If those are early votes, as I assume from the results in other districts, then Gonsalves–a nobody with no money–might actually make that Biden+26 district competitive. Now *that* would be a clear sign of a 1920-style–nay, 1894 style–Republican wave! It would mean that the suburbs returned to what they were in 2004.

    72. Cash Cow TM says:

      In FL:

Crist is currently ahead with Broward-ites, Alachua-ites and Leon-ites voters.

    73. EML says:

Crist won Orange County early vote by only 14 (Biden +23). Florida is seeing a +12 swing to the GOP.

    74. phoenixrisen says:

Call it for Desantis and Rubio. No way Dems win losing Miami-Dade.

    75. EML says:

DeSantis won Hillsborough County early vote (Biden +7).

    76. Meldrim says:

    77. EML says:

DeSantis won Hillsborough with more D early voters than R. Indies breaking hard for R.

    78. EML says:

8 of the 12 Biden won counties have reported their early vote totals.

    79. DW says:

GOP up in all three contested VA seats.

    80. phoenixrisen says:

FL-13 very tight, Dem only holds 6K lead, 71% reporting

    81. EML says:

Holy crap. DeSantis won the Osceola County early vote (Biden +14 county). FL-09 may be in play.

    82. EML says:

      Osceola County is 54% Hispanic.

    83. Cash Cow TM says:

VA-04 is over 40% black, and its white population includes those from Richmond. It has no business being close.

But, then again, GA-02 is black-majority and longtime Democratic incumbent Sanford Bishop is struggling as much as he did in 2010, when he barely won in what was a whiter CD back then.

Actually Robbie for once I am going to agree with you. There were a lot of crappy candidates, and one reason for it was Trump insistence that he anoint Republican candidates, and they kiss his ring. Ironically. The candidate whom Trump was hostile to in Florida won a impressive victory. It really is time to move on.

I’m not butthurt. I’m sorry that your heart is so full of hate. I’ll pray for you tonight, and the next night.

With 71 percent of expected vote reporting, Boebert has 48 percent while her challenger, Democrat and former Aspen City Council Member Adam Frisch, leads with 52 percent. That’s a hefty margin in a state that, up until two years ago, was the quintessential swing state. For context, the last three gubernatorial races in Florida were decided by 1 point, 1 point and 0.4 percentage points. DeSantis is even leading by double digits in traditionally Democratic Miami-Dade County, showing his support among the state’s Hispanic population. He even outpaced Rubio, South Florida’s very own. It’s a stunning victory for the potential 2024 presidential candidate and might convince him to throw his hat in the ring even if Trump runs again. Does the mother whose daughter is raped or son assaulted vote for Dems who are soft on crime?

Do parents support their kids who align with these leftists that wish to lead us to a communist or society?

I say to them, don’t complain unless you’re willing to make sacrifices even if it means leaving your comfort zone or abandoning friends and family.

Is there any reason to beleive things will be different regardless of the nominee? If the GOP cannpt run the table under the current economic conditions and lawlessness, there really is no hope. We turned a corner in 2020 and 2022 just confirms it.

    595. Brandon says:

The only saving grace in 2024 is that the senate map is VERY friendly to the GOP.

    596. SoHope says:

Also there is no victory without embracing mail-in voting. In Florida we won big. Running a campaign without utilizing early and mail-in voting is fighting with one hand tied behind your back. Trump’s antagonizing mail-in voting has conditioned Republicans to have a weakness that I worry they can’t unlearn quickly.

    597. jason says:

This is not about Trump. The results were disappointing for 2 reasons.

      1) People want socialism. They want big government, they want handouts. It is what Fetterman, Hochul, Kelly, Whitmer, and other horrible candidates were offering, and it what people voted for. The voters are products of an educational system that promotes socialism.

      2) Rs are not going to be competitive as long as there is VBM. Fetterman won by roughly 150k votes. Of course he had banked that much of a cushion before the debate. Same with a bunch of other states. The R surge at the end was too late, too much of the vote was baked in.

VBM is the formula Dems have found to win elections. It is a way to harvest votes and get millions of votes with no chain of custody.

Anyone here who is not a troll and thinks the problem with the GOP is Trump is just looking for a quick scapegoat.

    598. phoenixrisen says:

I cannot see this as anything but a very disappointing result. Seeing lots of chatter on Twitter and other outlets that conservatives are livid at Trump, and probably rightfully so. His negatives are too high and though I love his results while President, he is just not likable (brags about himself way too much which is a turnoff). and his mouth is his worst enemy. Additionally, he would be 78 years old if he beat Biden in a rematch. If DeSantis runs, I think he wins the nomination and becomes President and Trump’s recent bluff attempts and trying guilt DeSantis out of running obviously show that Trump is afraid he will lose to DeSantis which is probably right. It cannot be anymore clear who the GOP nominee should be for 2024. It’s DeSantis beyond doubt. Winning Florida by 20 points should leave no question to that. Time to move on.

    599. jason says:

Montco went for Fetterman 62-34, 60k votes, Delco 62-36, 60k votes. Add the margin in Chester and there was the difference in the election right there.

Nothing to do with Trump. Suburbia is trending left. They had a clear choice in visions, they chose Fetterman’s far left vision.

It was a competition of ideologies, and Fetterman’s ideology prevailed.

Ignoring the ideology issue and pretending Biden is not President to instead focus on Trump, who was not even on the ballot, is a shallow and sophomoric meme based on emotion.

Fetterman is a far left socialist, a Bernie Sanders socialist. He killed it in the Phila suburbs. Do you really think that was due to Trump.

Not the point. The GOP should have won in MI, NY, OR, NM, KS, PA. All of these had horrible Dem incumbent/candidates. They all won.

Why? The offered a vision the electorate wants.

    614. WizardofCozz says:

The current GOP brand has no ability to compete nationally in the upper Midwest or New England I don’t see how desantis is a fix for that. 2016 was an Electoral college exception that proved the new rule—-electorate plus illegals are at best center left not center right All this talk of reallignment No one knows …..

    616. Tina says:

I also hope that Desantis runs. He cannot wait four more years,

I am over Trump too. I don’t fault him for the election, he is just too old and should not run.

My concern with Desantis is can he win the Midwest and while he endorsed 2 candidates (Ny Governor and Colorado), both lost.

However zeldin may have helped us get control of the house.

    617. jason says:

      Abortion helped Dems?”

Fox exit said it was only the top issue for 10%.

I am very skeptical abortion was a determining issue, especially since it works both ways.

People who voted on abortion would have voted Dem or R anyway.

I doubt it was the main reason for voting for anybody else.

Saw abortion was an issue according to some analysts on Fox but one thing is obvious, the generic congressional ballot polling was WAY off.

    621. jason says:

Abortion got a lot of attention from the MSM.

But I have yet to see ANY evidence it actually was the determining factor in any of these races.

Abortion policy did not change in most states. And where it did, like TX and FL, the GOP won.

Nothing changed in PA, for example. So I doubt it had any influence on the the election here. Nada. Zilch. Zero.

    622. Brandon says:

Zeldin/DeSantis’ performances are the reason why it looks like the GOP will win a House majority.

    623. Chicon says:

      Did the polling industry over-correct?

    624. phoenixrisen says:

Yeah, Maloney looks like he went down. The GOP probably gains the House with a 220-225 seat majority. Control for the Senate goes down to the runoff in Georgia as Lazalt is looking good.

    625. Chicon says:

GA may not go to a runoff.

    626. Tgca says:

ABORTION was NOT an issue in most areas the GOP needed to win in.

Jadon has it right, the subrurbs continue to turn left. The country wants socialism, thanks to the young and the soccer mom types.

If you want to blame someone, look at your friends, children, neighbors who believe everything they’re told by the MSM. This reminds me of Nazi Germany where the fight over good and evil divided families. Some people support evil and are easily misled.

Continue sending your kids to leftist schools. That’s where they’re indoctrinated.

This election in certain areas, not all, was about a turn to the left.

PA is NOW officially the state to mock and ridicule their voters.

PA makes voters in WV and NJ look like geniuses.

    627. Dylan says:

Can we at least say that it was not “fraud”? Can we at least say that the GOP has much deeper/systemic issues than voter fraud? Why can’t they develop a brand that can attract a national winning coalition instead of just a regional success? Depressingly fascinating

    628. Tgca says:

Does anyone see how the local races did? This is where I’ve been saying America can be saved. We need to weed out local races 1st before nationalizing it because that’s where most issues are coming from that are destroying our country.

    629. jason says:

The current GOP brand has no ability to compete nationally in the upper Midwest or New England I don’t see how desantis is a fix for that.”

Yep, but the simplistic morons here think DeSantis is the savior. Just replace Trump with him, and voilá.

      Pathetic.

    630. Tgca says:

Many Trump endorsed candidates won. But the ones in lefty leaning states struggled more and lost or did not do as well.

This tells me it’s the old adage that politics is local.

FL proves it was not about ABORTION when the GOP wins or does phenomenally great in very lefty counties.

CA and FL are exact opposites now.

Senate increased its R majority to 30-4
House increased its current super majority

Lot different make up from the election of 1974 when the Rs wound up then with
only 1 R senate seat and 12 R House seats.

    632. jason says:

Can we at least say that it was not “fraud””

      No.

VBM with no chain of custody is a form of fraud. Ballot boxes with no supervision are a form of fraud.

The problems with voting machines and tabulations in AZ, run by a SOS who is a candidate herself, is a form of fraud.

The election system in NV, allowing for ballot harvesting, is a form of fraud.

Any system that allows people who are not elegible to vote and allows people to vote for others is potentially fraudulent.

Totally agree. Said it prior to the election. DeSantis is the future — his overwhelming re-election was such a major contrast to the debacle Republicans ran into in many other races. Trump is increasingly coming across as a grumpy, angry old man.

Every state with a Republican Governor should enact statutes and/or rules that mimic Florida’s process. Not because Florida went Republican, but because their process is so clean that there is confidence in the result.

These are not people who are conducive to the continued existence of this once-glorious Republic.

What happened last night should have been an emphatic correction to the hell this country has been subjected to since Joe Biden was artificially installed in the White House.

Instead, we got a bunch of bleating socialist sheep.

I worked on my first political campaign 38 years ago and I’ve never seen anything as baffling as what I witnessed last night. Do I think we’ve got fraud problems? Yes, especially here in Arizona.

What’s worse, however, is this: half of the country is brain-dead.

There is no give-and-take in American politics anymore. The takeover of the public education indoctrination mill is complete. I first wrote about it in 2013 in Don’t Let the Hippies Shower. I updated it in 2018 and I am going to begin a new update today.

We are now subject to an electorate that’s half-filled with socialist lemmings who are more than delighted to march off of the leftist cliff. Freedom-loving Americans can flex all we want, but until we figure out a way to overcome the commie plague (masks don’t work, btw) we’ve got serious problems.

We can’t normalize Election Day problems like what we saw here in Arizona yesterday. Maricopa County was besieged by machines that couldn’t count the ballots. That didn’t happen anywhere else in the state. Only in the county that should deliver a lot of GOP votes.”

      Spot on.

This s what me and my good friend Jadon, the vile meat eater have been saying for months. The country is changing in some areas and going further left and folks are being indoctrinated over time, mainly through education and certain companies and the MSM.

I think of this like the 1930s as a fight between good and evil as many people in Germany moved to support ideologues in hopes of making things better. Doing what we are doing to kids and trying to destroy our society as it exists is part of the agenda of the radical left though they don’t see it as destructive and instead they think it’s more moving us to a Utopian society

but the road to Hell is paved with a bunch of so-called do-gooders. Ask Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Castro, etc.

“DRAFT..Biden says “Good evening fellow Americans. I am thrilled you heard my message of how you MUST vote D in the 2022 election to PRERSERVE DEMOCRACY! You did that! Our democfracy has been preserved.” [wait for applause from press corp assembled to die down].

I accept the mandate you have given me by your votes and I am announcing a series of Biden Executive Orders to cement what I call “Democracy In My Wonderful Ixciting Times (D.I.M.W.I.T)

We have SO MUCH division in our nation. Elections every two years caused this division. Therefore, to end this division, Biden Exec. Order #763 will cancel the 2024 election.

Now on to inflation. j Biden Executive Order #764 will make businesses sell their products and services at 1972 prices. This will save Amerian consumers BILLIONS OF DOLLARS!

On to Crime. If people are happy, they do not commit crime. THAT IS A FACT! Therefore, I am issuing Executive Order #765 to legalize mari.juana–and all other drugs classified as schedule I through schedule IV.

I am also issuing Executive Order #766 to close all prisons and return the inmates to their communities. That will free up the prison space to allow prisons to be turned into reeducation camps for right wing racist Nazis.

On the southern border issue (and government spending issue): I am issuing Executive Order #767 to fire all U.S. border guards and personnel and provide for FREE and UNFETTERED movement across our southern border–just like we have now between states like TX and AZ. THAT WILL SLAVE $2 BILLION PER YEAR TO THE AMERICAN TAXPAYERS.

And that leads me to WALL building. I am issuing Executive order #768 to build a wall around the state of WV. It will be built by all the Mexicans, etc. that will come in due to our open border policy. These hard-working immigrants will be paying BILLIONS of taxes to the government!

Along with this, I will issue Executive Order #769 to send ‘our people’ into WV to examine their elections and their voting machines. Something is WRONG there. D

Now you say why WV? Well let me tell you a story. A few years ago

On to election monitoring: I am issuing Executive order #767 to build a wall

“Something is DEAD WRONG in WV. Just a few years ago, WV had a D governor, SOS, AG, Auditor, Treasurer, Agricultural Commissioner, D majority State Supreme court, super majority Ds in both State House and Senate. NOW, nearly all these elected officials are Rs! AND the R elected leaders are sitting on BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN RESERVE FUNDS, ANNUAL BUDGET SURPLUSES, UNEMPLOYMENT FUND, ETC. BILLIONS! And yet on Tuesday, the WV constitutional amendment that would allow the legislature to give MASSIVE TAX CUTS TO THE PEOPLE was VOTED DOWN! Do YOU BELIEVE the people would really VOTE DOWNA s proposal to CUT THEIR TAXES?”

“There are even unconfirmed reports that a cow–A COW!–has an unusual high profile in WV Republican politics.”

“So, I am issuing these EOs to ISOLATE THIS UNDEMOCRATIC PLAGUE and keep a plague of corruption from spreading and get to the bottom of this.”

“On to energy issues. My Executive order #770 will IMMEDIATELY stop all coal mining, oil drilling and shut down all coal fired power plants in the U.S. WE NEED TO END GLOBAL WARMING AND SAVE THE GLACIERS NOW!”

“On Education: I am issuing Executive Order #771 to teach the Three Rs: Radicalism. Reconstructive gender identity surgery, Race Theory, and Remove parents from the schools and school board meetings.”

“Plus, I will issue Executive Order #772 to ban parents from entering their child’s school or attending school board meetings. IT IS A FACT, that EVERY school shooting was done by either a parent, or a prospective future parent. this will make schools safe again and end children dying.”

“Speaking of dying, let me end by telling you a story about my son Beau. You know, he was one of the astronauts who died tragically when the Challenger spaceship blew up. When he crashed to earth, I rushed to his side and his dying words were: “Dad, please save the glaciers and end school shootings.” I want to make his dying wishes come true.”
